pazienza: He won the war for who? Who was the invisible hand behind nigeria during the war? To whose purpose was it that nigeria remained one? Had one nigeria been more beneficial to yoruba race than an independent odualand would have been.

The truth is bitter, but it must be told. Awo was a shortsighted leader, he fought for the unity of a country he later found out was a mere geographical expression,if this isn't shortsightedness, then what would we call it?

He aligned himself with the interest of an imperial power ie britain and her ally USSR. That's not what great leaders do,great leaders are freedom fighters and their interest often are in conflict with that of imperialists. Awo delivered odualand into the hand of imperialists, when he had the chance to fight for their freedom.

Eko Ile: Was if right for Ojukwu to send you to war without food?

Was it right to go to war while depending on the same enemy you are shooting and killing to give you food to eat?

Was it right for ashebe and ojukwu hijack and divert food for their people to feed the rebel army?

Was if right for ashebe and ojukwu to deny landing rights to food aid groups trying to feed ibo people unless they pay bribe aka landing fees?

Answer these questions and re post your rubbish when you are done answering....
i no you people have short memories so i will always remind you that food aid agencies where being shot down by nigerian soldiers or do u want evidence on that one?truth is making you people have sleepless night deal with it...

9ja voice: Katsumoto I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU.

CAN YOU TELL ME WHY THE YORUBAS ARE THE ONLY TRIBE WITH THE BUSINESS OF DEBATING OR ARGUING WITH THE IGBOS ABOUT THE WAR?

i notice that the north will only speak once or two and accept without apology their action, but our brothers in the south will stay all they claiming this and that about the war.

the north are the most beneficiaries of the war yet yorubas benefited little and make more noise about the war why?
i suggest time has come for yorubas to keep shot like others.
me too i wonder

The day You have an idea, an original one dear, will be the day that Satan himself skates on the ice of the North Pole. What does Katsumoto know that hasn't been sourced from daily romps on Google? I always laugh at your "fans" who peg you for being clever, we all can be clever if we borrow every idea and thought in our head grin

truefact: why cant nigeria think of separation or regionalism. Even the so called western countries that wanted nigeria as one country are thinking of separation Eg. in Spain, catalonia is an autonomous region and planning separation to become a country of itself because they think other parts of Spain is drawing it backward, in UK, Scotland is autonomous and also planing separation, many states in USA also plan separation.

Here in nigeria, we are not the same people. we have different ideology and never been thesame and never would be. Why cant we go our separate ways. it's evident the north is drawing everybody backward. To me separation is best for Nigeria. The north cannot keep holding the entire nigeria backward. Other region should move forward. to me it's either separation or regional autonomy.

Is it that the south has no leader or is it that they cant challenge the northern leaders. I'm tired of this core north sh i t
this is the problem with many nigerians, they see self determination as forbidden while things are going worst by the day,am an advocate of free speech and believe in live and let live this is not a matter of divide we fall together we stand,is about thinking ahead of time everyday people will be complaining the same thing but try and see it from a different angle they refuse to look that angle, everytime we sit here blaming each other while other countries have gone too far,as a realist,i dont no how to pretend i rather ignore you just to let the situation defuse a bit

7lives: Nigerians love good things no doubt about this, but are we ready to pay the price?, no.
A country that has no functioning steel rolling mill cannot boast of having an auto plant.
Forget about what you read on pages of news papers, auto plants are billion dollar projects. And most times it takes the government will power, political and economic arm twisting of the brand owners to get them to set up these auto plant in another country, especially a developing country like Nigeria.
Innoson and others involved in auto assembly business will get there one day , but for now, this is just the reality, ask the Chinese and the Indians, they will tell you how they got their auto plants.

http://odili.net/news/source/2012/may/16/11.html

To adequately develop the sector, the Managing Director of Innoson Nigeria Limited, Chief Innocent Chukwura, recently called for review of government policies.
"If we continue to import fully built up vehicles, we are creating jobs for those countries we are importing from. But the importation of completely or semi knocked down vehicles will create a lot of employment or small-scale businesses,'' he said.
Chukwura said that apart from the usual challenges associated with industries, raw materials like steel were not readily available.

"If Ajaokuta steel can be resuscitated, it will serve the auto industry. However, the challenges remain, and if not surmounted, the dream of going back to the glorious days of auto industry may not be realized," he added.

When Muslims agree to let Israel and Christians live in peace; quit screaming for another Holocaust; when from within they wipe out al Qaeda, the Taliban and other Stalinist groups; when Christians are no longer persecuted and are allowed to freely proselytize in Islamic lands; when they no longer riot over Mohammed cartoons; when they no longer practice gender apartheid; when Islam is no longer in conflict with every faith within it contact; etc., etc.; then tell me it is a religion of peace.... cool

Jerusalem has been a Jewish holy city since the days of King David . 3000 years ago.
[b]At that time the Arabs were still pagans who used to worship idols such as Al Uzza, Al Lat and Al Mannat at the Kaaba. (Jahiliyya period)

In the year 638 CE the muslims captured Jerusalem from the Byzantines and built a mosque on the site of the Jewish holy Temple.

While Jews pray facing Jerusalem and the Temple mount , Muslims pray towards Mecca.
When Muslims pray in Jerusalem they point their behind to the Dome of the rock and the temple mount.

An Islamic holy site ?
Palestinians use the temple mount as a playground where they have picnics and play soccer.

Sary Nusseibeh , palestinian professor and the president of the Al Quds university had to go underground after admitting that the temple mount is a Jewish holy site.

Ibn Taymiyyah (1263-1328) , whose writings influenced the Wahhabi movement in arabia ruled that sacred islamic sites are to be found only in the Arabian Peninsula and that " in Jerusalem, there is not a place one calls sacred , and the same holds true for the tombs of Hebron"

Jerusalem is mentioned in the Bible 667 times , while in the Quran : 0 times .

According to the quran , the holy land was written by Allah to Israel (quran 5:21) and that the Jews will return to their land (quran 17:104)

The jews are coming back home from the diaspora .

Ezekiel 36:24
"For i will take you from among the nations , gather you out of all countries, and bring you back into your own land"

Jeremiah 29:14
"I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile."

Isaia 62:1
"For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch."
