Tell gej that terrorism won't fizzle out,ask iran and Afghanistan.

Well, maybe this is just the beginning, wen obj proposed a solution,I read majority of ur post, supporting gej and his approach.my advice to all nigerians is to live with it,yes! Live with it,if won't fizzle out.

Not that I am happy,on the contrary I am sad(check ma signature),bt we have to act fast.in civilised nations, this issue is a foundation to start up an impeachment proceeding in nass.

Of course, wat is gej's offence in all of this?
No offence,he has committed none, but his inaction has complicated the whole situation,if he can't give us security which is his number 1 duty.then he should resign!

Smh @ all the first page answers, this is the peak and mother of all hypocrisy."U don't gain anything, yet u don't quit using it....hmmmmm.

I have gained a lot, everytime I opened nairaland,I always add something new to my vocabulary.

I have learnt how to write better (informally and otherwise)

I have learnt how to open up people's heart by being funny and fun.

I ve learnt not to take strangers(online friend serious) or anything they say.

I have learnt how to see sense in nonsense and nonsense in sense, this being the ultimate tool in my legal profession.that is why I don't miss the pdp vs acn, matches(beaf vs gbawe etc)

Nairaland is a well/fountain of knowledge to those who wants to be reasonable.

Lemme arrange the script and play it for you, maybe anything resonable could come out from his claim.......

If ribadu practically played a role in dislodging odili for yardadua, why did yardua humiliate him so badlyhuh

Could this be the reason why gej pardoned ribadu which made him to come back from exilehuh
Politics › Re: Kaduna Get New Deputy Governor by AK481(m): 5:00pm On Dec 24, 2012
payless: Why can't we just elect our leaders without differentiating who is Christian and who is Muslim? There are good Christians and good Muslims all over Nigeria, vice-versa. We tend to judge people based on their religion, which is the root of our problems in Nigeria. We have religious sentiment in Nigeria which we need to stop in order for Nigeria to move forward for God sake.

I have never based my decision on anyone based on his or her religious views.
Let me ignore you
Politics › Re: Kaduna Get New Deputy Governor by AK481(m): 4:59pm On Dec 24, 2012
abubello: Why not. Sincerely, i think the majority muslims in kaduna are just being timid or over sensitive. Look at it this way: Of the three senatorial zones in Kaduna state two are muslim dominated while the third is christian dominated. Yet the Deputy Governors post is always allocated to Kaduna South. Compare this with Edo State with almost the same ratio: 2 to 1 sentoriial zone, only this time the majority are christians, Yet Muslims in Edo have never produced either the Governor Deputy Governor.

A muslim muslim Ticket can easily win in Kaduna just like a christian-christian Ticket has been winning in Edo State

Did they play in the qualifiers?
Sports › Re: Osaze Proposed Himself As Eagles' Captain. by AK481(m): 3:38pm On Dec 24, 2012
I think this saga reflects the very poor man management attitude of leaders in Nigeria in general. Most people that have commented so far appears to be ignorant of recent history. Can someone remind me why Keshi was called the boss again? Was it not the same Keshi that was dictating for coaches, selecting who should play and not play in the national team, creating cabal of errand boys or have we suddenly forgotten the late Rashidi Yekini's refusal to be Keshi's errand boy?

For crying out loud, if osazee wants to be captain, why should that exclude him from the national team given his vital role in the team currently? How about Keshi setting Him a standard of what He would like to see before He can consider Him as captain? The reason given by Keshi is so lame that it leaves one with the impression that there is personality issues going on here.it is either Keshi is looking to select yes men as team members that would do his bidding or his usual old self is taking over him again.

Osazee may not be perfect and may have had issues in the past with coaches in Nigeria but if one were to revisit those issues, largely they are issues any sane individual would want to protest against for several good reasons.

It is so sad how our national team has been reduced to nothing to the extent that the nations cup is just weeks away and I am barely excited about Nigeria reaching the second round talk less of winning the trophy.
The super eagle is not as unfair like those pentecostal university(e.g covenant) where those who built the uni from foundation are finally shut out after completion.so sad!

You do not just walk into a finished house to live for free if you donot join hand in building it.

My point, osaze have no business being in the nation cup in 2013,it will be absolutely unfair to those who played the qualifier to completion only to be dropped for the "big man "to shine and advertise himself for more pay.
If osaze want to be a captain, fine,I ve no problem with that but he should wait after the nation cup, maybe during another qualifier, then he can be considered.

I say this because I want to be just to the likes of victor moses or ahmed musa,or ike uche, one striker must be dropped to "oga bigman" to come in.

I prefer us loosing woefully with those that laboured for the afcon 2013 that win the cup wit the likes of amoebi, osaze, martin, yakubu(ofcourse that imposible sha)

My 5cents!!

Nairaland General › Re: Funny Phrases Used In Nigerian Newspapers by AK481(m): 10:05pm On Dec 20, 2012
naptu2: Now I must pay tribute to the master. I think that there was a time when all Nigerian football commentators were trying to imitate the late great Ernest Okonkwo. His phrases became clichés. The only problem was that the people who used them did not know what they meant (which is why they could "float a grounder"wink.

"Uwem Bassey is on the ball. He beats
Christian Chuckwu, beats Christian Madu.

He has beaten two "Christians", he must be a Muslim".
- Ernest Okonkwo

Mehalla of Egypt vs Rangers of Nigeria. The Egyptians played their home leg on artificial turf, which the Nigerians were not used to. The Nigerians played their home game at 12pm at the height of the Enugu heat (the Egyptians were not used to such heat. They also wore black which compounded their problems).
When Rangers won, Ernest Okonkwo said "Mehalla saw wahala".

I was walking through my house. The radio was on. I heard Ernest Okonkwo say "Ademola Adesina and his intercontinental ballistic missile!" That stopped me in my tracks.

Ernest Okonkwo nicknamed most of the players in the Green/Super Eagles, including:

Chairman Christian Chukwu
Mathematical Segun Odegbami
Blockbuster Allosius Atuegbu
Gangling Rashidi Yekini
Dean of Defence Yisa Sofoluwe

Etc.

A guy that graduated from the department of geography in unn with 2-2 won 10 milla.

Another guy that made 2-2 dat didn't even make batch A from mcb in unn won 5 milla.

So,what's your point?

I have just counted people's opinion of nairaland.
Those who are in favour of gej leadership style are less than 2%,while those against are overwhelming 98%.I don't need to say much, this have proven the statement;you can fool some people sometime bt can't fool everybody everytime(in particular, labaran maku, oronto, remo, okupe, beaf, mandelabornfool, etc etc).nigerians are wiser now,we will defeat you.

I av 1 question for the 2% in gej's favour;

If u have a company that is run like nigeria, what will you do the md?

Nice write-up,not one atom of lie or wrong information.I cried wen I got to the part that talked about "old men". @ 25 to 30 still living wit their parent, and that's absolutely true.

My father left the village to lagos at 22,and became financially independent, bought his first car with all his mates at 23(Volkswagen).

How did we get to this pure state of madness? I don't know, but I know that "the problem of nigeria is a problem of leadership.

The worst part about nigerian leadership style is that, the latter always seem to be better than the present, the country continues to suffer, brain drain records continues to go unprecedented, and nobody thinks anything is wrong about it.

What of quota system? That is a mortuary in itself.

This op sef,na wa for you oo!

First thing you should know is;most people you expect to show up for weddings, end up disappointing you, while those you don't xpect to come end up making your day.

Wedding is no longer a wasteful venture these day,it has now moved to a mega investment industry.wen I had mine,I pumped about 5milla but made about 12milla(both cash and gift inclusive, currently conteplating divorce grin.

So, I suggest you stop that poor man mentality, because you might be creating more enimity from even your invited guest whose mother you want to send home.

Above all,I ll sugest you create a section for your invited guest and leave out another section at the back, fairly decorated,so they can get a taste of the item 7,so they can drop their gift.

The theme of a wedding is;the more the merrier.

Thank you!
