The biggest mistake a poultry farmer can do is to buy point of Lay from untested untrusted source for eggs production. It may amount to inheriting a problem that may never be solved. Conventionally raised birds has a lot of issues that may surface in later stage of their lives. If you buy point of lay from a source that has history of poorly treated diseases, be assured to have big issues with diseases when the birds are in their prime of laying
Organically raised birds from day old gives the farmer a lot of leverage. As you can see in the video below

pls are there not reputable farms in Ibadan you can recommend for point of lay after which one continues organically as not all may have the facility to brood 5000 Pullets but prefers buying POL thanks

when did you debeak them ie at what age in weeks please note debeaking wil affect their feed consumption drastically

@bighingz did u raise d birds from day old by urself or u got them as point of lay whichever way what of their vaccination history are dey black or brown deep litter or battery cage what feed are using & how many bags per day from ur history d birds started late but are doing well @ 3 wks of production pls you don't giv vitamins to control excess fat as reverse wil be d case answers io above questions & lab result wil help in proper advise
