Please how many KG of luggages does Turkish airline accept?

You have 2 23KG luggages and 8KG for hand luggage. You can get a moderate bag that would at least weigh 8KG and a back bag/School bag of same KG.

That was what I did in my own situation and I had no issues with them. Just make sure nothing edible is inside the hand luggages, if not, it would be dropped at the final check before boarding. Although I had a sealed ijebu garri and I was fortunate to let it go through 😀😀😀

Lol...
.
..as per ur question....its normal for nurses.
employers usually pay for their relocation( visa fees and plane ticket to a maximum expense of £1000 for 5 years COS)....
but the applicant will have to foot the expense first and get reimbursed later... its done this way to ensure the employer doesnt waste money on a person later chaage their mind and go for another offer

@advanceDNA is right, but your friend/sister has to still foot the bill and get paid when she arrives in the UK.

I wish her all the best

Hello all, I have an appointment at tls ikeja on Thursday, I don't live in Lagos so I'll need a hotel close to the VAC. Budget is between 15k to 25k

Hi,

You can check Hotels in Ikeja majorly. You would have there budget or the front desk line to enquire and make your booking.

All the best

Good day everyone, my friend says she got a care job but employer say they will loan her money to sort visa application process which will later be paid installmentally once she starts working. She says she has to pay for visa fee separately but from the form she showed me I am thinking the visa fee should be included in the application process. I asked her to hold on for me to ask here if we,ve got anyone that has experienced such

Hi,

I am not sure I got the question correctly, but if what you are saying is the Employer wants to sponsor are visa processing, flight and all aside the Maintenance on the COS.

Are you asking if she would pay the visa fee by herself and others would be paid by the employer or what?

I have heard of someone that got the whole visa processing sponsored by the employer and was to be paying a certain % from her salary once she lands….

Hello house,

Thanks to everyone for their updates.
Please has anyone used Rwandair or EgyptAir? Is it a good airline?

Thanks

Hi Rukkyberry,

I have not tried any of these airlines before, but my cousin took Egyptair to Canada a year ago and he told me he had a nice experience with them.

Cheers.

Hello House

Can one book flight from Qatar Airline site with Naira Master Card to UK?
Also has anybody used Luton Airport before?
Is there need for transit visa for Qatar, Air Maroc, Rwandair and Ethiopian Airline for Nigerians?

Hi bro, to the best of my knowledge, I think airlines that passes europe are the ones that requires transit. Like Airfrance and co. You can use other African airlines, Qatar and Air Maroc without having to bother about transit visa.

Cheers

Anyone experienced this?

Hi dear. For you to apply for priority, it means you would get a feedback in say like 5 workings days. I am sure your dependents applied on standard, which means they would be getting a response within 8-15 working days.

Cheers

Hello Everyone, my visa is out!! Thank you God and thanks to all who responded to my questions.
Timeline:
Job offer: November 2021, senior care worker
Cos: February 2022
Biometrics: 23 March 2022
Collected passport today.

I have been a silent reader for some time now and I can see that it is not very easy getting a job. I want to share my experience and I hope it can be of help.

I reside in Nigeria and I got this job through networking, basically through a family member in the UK. I do not have a health degree or certification. I was introduced to my employer and one key thing he asked me was if I could drive and I said yes. He basically wanted to know if I genuinely wanted to work as a carer. Afterwards, came the job offer. At that time they had just applied for their sponsorship license. I was asked to submit my passport data page in February and shortly after I was sent my Cos.
I did my TB test, got police clearance and the rest is history.
When it came to visa application I was worried because I didn't have any care certification but my employer told me I would be trained so that was not a problem.

One thing I try to do for all my visa applications is to keep it simple. Hence, documents I submitted are:
Cos, TB cert, Police cert, marriage certificate, UK MSc degree as proof of english, previous visas and travel history. Disclaimer: there are no hard and fast rule to this, submit documents according to your individual circumstances and follow what's on the ukvi website.

Based on my experience one thing I can advice is network, network and network with those you know in the UK, this is one way people get jobs, not just in health care but other sectors.
Secondly I noticed ability to drive is a major criteria, so if you don't know how to drive, you can learn. Although my employer mentioned that wages are higher for those who drive.

I hope my long epistle is helpful, I may not be able to answer all questions, but I will try as much as I can to give answers.

I hope my congratulatory message is not too late. 😃😃. I would like to ask if there are any Immigration questions at the POE to be answered. I would be traveling first week in March.

Thank you.

But sincerely, their reasons for denying people nowadays is just too awkward and doesn't make sense to me, if you take someones money like that in abroad they'll tame it as fraud. They assume all Nigerians traveling @ this harsh economy won't return cos Donald Trump immigration rules is affecting the whole system, 40,000+ Nigerians didn't return last year, Trump wasn't happy hence they reshuffled the system unless you are not watching CNN. Imagine, you have good travel history but still they denied you, this can't happen 2013/2014/2015. Kindly check this part 3 thread very well the numbers of people that posted accepted transcript is fewer compared to part 2&1. I'll advise people on here always have a concrete & genuine reasons before applying or else na one chance.
[quote author=XYZJAZZY post=65035052]I have been a silent reader from the day i made up my mind to apply for US visa....I had my interview today 13/02/18 can someone tell me where i went wrong?

Me: Louisville, Kentucky

VO: What are you doing there?
Me: Am goin for conference exhibition

VO: Why are u going for d conference?
Me: I explained my reason

VO: Oh ur company is sponsoring it?
Me: Yes

VO: Have you traveled outside naija b4?
Me: No

VO: How many kids do you have?
Me: 2 kids, a girl and a boy

VO: She brought out blue paper and said sorry you are not qualify for this visa.
Me: Thank u!

Consular Officer deny pipo based on there own prerogative/discretion, even when you have genuine reason dey will still deny you.

Guys naija dey vex ooooh, see crowd for embassy like mad, more dan 500 pipo, from my calculation they made over #32M for only today and still 96.7% where still denied, blue paper dey slim like fish.

.. @XYZJAZZY.. I wasn't present at the Embassy this morning as well 8:45am appointment and it was funny how blue papers were flying up and down..except for the old people..even some families were denied in my presence. Was interviewed by the young guy in Window 2

Thank you. God bless.

mizGene:

Processing time is now 99 days...smh. There is no actual number of days, the times shown are estimates/averages. Some ppl hv been lucky n got their response in 2 months or even less, some others spend 5 months or more waiting.. I think that they must hv a huge number of applications abouy this time cos they were much faster earlier in the year.

Hello house.

Pls I need a quick response to this: I submitted my TRV Canada paper application on 23rd June,2017 @ VFS Lagos office. I checked the processing time that same day and it was 66days, after several weeks, I checked again and saw 96days again. I really want to know the actual days to complete applications.
