The refugees are lining up in their hundreds outside the Swedish embassies in Egypt, Jordan and Turkey.

"People are coming to the gates in the belief that all Syrians will be allowed to come to Sweden," Charlotta Ozaki Macias at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs told the Dagens Nyheter newspaper.

Earlier this month, Swedish migration authorities ruled that all Syrian asylum seekers in Sweden will be granted permanent residency in light of the worsening conflict in Syria.

The ruling means that their relatives also have the right to come to Sweden, however, they must find their own way here to seek asylum, and cannot simply head to the Swedish embassy.

Sweden was the first country in the EU to offer permanent residency to refugees from Syria, with the Swedish Migration Board (Migrationsverket) granting the permits on a case by case basis, fully aware of the risks of war criminals seeking asylum in Sweden.

There are around 8,000 Syrians in Sweden currently with temporary residence who will now be offered permanent residence permits.

Mohammed Sohail of Shirley, NY, A Compassionate Muslim grocery store owner who turned the tables on a would be robber with his unloaded shotgun.
Having lost the upper hand, the thief falls to his knees begging for mercy and that's when the kind hearted shop owner felt bad for him and gave him $40 and asked him to promise to never rob anyone again. The big surprise was that the thief was so grateful that he wanted to be a Muslim, just like the kind store owner, and that's when Muhammad Sohail asked him to raise his hand and the repentant robber actually took his Shahada right then and there and they shock hands on that promise.

The shop owner also gave him some bread and turned around to get him some milk from the fridge, and that's when the burglar ran out.

No one knows what will be of him, but we hope that this kind brother left a great impression on him and we also hope that he does indeed visit Masjid and sincerely learns more about Islam and actually become a Muslim. That would without a doubt help set him straight.

A Long Island convenience store owner turned a would-be robbery into an act of compassion. On Wednesday, the shoplifter made amends with a $50 bill and a thank you letter for saving him from a life of crime.
The story began in May 2009, when Mohammad Sohail of Shirley, New York, was closing his Shirley Express convenience store one night. Security camera footage from that evening shows a man wielding a baseball bat barging into the store and demanding money.
Sohail had a rifle ready and quickly aimed it directly in the robber's face, forcing the man to drop the bat and lay on the ground. Unbeknownst to the man, Sohail never loads his gun.
According to Sohail, the man immediately started to plead with him, tearfully saying, "I'm sorry, I have no food. I have no money. My whole family is hungry. Don't call the police. Don't shoot me."
"When I see him starting crying [those] things, I really feel bad for him," said Sohail. "I say, oh man, this is something different."
Sohail made the man pledge never to rob anybody ever again, then gave the man $40 and a loaf bread. Sohail, who is from Pakistan, said the man then wanted to be a Muslim like him, so he recited an Islamic oath and gave the would-be robber the name Nawaz Sharif Zardari.
Sohail went to get some milk, but when he returned the man had fled with the money and food.Both Mohammad Sohail and Suffolk County Police have no idea who the man is. After the May incident, Sohail explained that he will "absolutely not" be pressing charges, though police are still investigating the case
Over the past six months, Sohail's story of sympathy and kindness has inspired many across the country.
The Shirley Express store has received numerous letters of admiration.
"No person has ever moved my spirit the way you did. From your biggest admirer," one letter says. "Great men are capable of great acts. You are a great American," another reads.
He has also received several checks with such messages for "a couple hundred dollars" in total, says Sohail. He has made a point to give this money "to the people" by offering free bagels, rolls and coffee in his store every night after 9 o'clock.
But the envelope that arrived on Wednesday came as a surprise. Postmarked November 11 without a return address, it enclosed a $50 bill and a note apparently from the would-be robber.

The typed letter begins, "You change My Life (sic)," and goes on to say that the man is sorry for his actions six months ago.
"At the time I had No money No food on my table No Job, and nothing for my family. I know that it was wrong, but I had know (sic) choice. I needed to feed My family. When You had That gun to my head I was 100% that I was going to die," reads the letter.
The letter says Sohail's acts inspired him to become a "True Muslim" and that his life has changed dramatically.
"I'm very happy that somebody got to change his life," Sohail said. "If he is a maybe criminal, maybe is not anymore. So now he is a good person in this community and I'm very glad for that. He's staying out of trouble, he's not in a jail, he's taking care of his family."

Protests at the Kallak iron mining site in northern Sweden took a new turn this week as police had to dig protesters out of the ground, the latest in a standoff with the Beowulf mining company that critics say will give nothing back to the local community.
"The Sami have no power to stop people coming here to exploit the land without giving anything back, not just to the local community, but also to the Swedish state," Josefina Lundgren Sker, chairwoman of the youth council of Sametinget, the part-devolved general assembly of the local indigenous Sami population, told The Local.

The comments come after protestors ramped up a blockade of the mining site, one of 18 sites where Beowulf, the mineral exploration parent company to Jokkmokk Iron Mines, holds exploration permits in northern Sweden.

Some 30 protestors dug in, literally, this week, with two demonstrators tying themselves to pipes that they had lowered into the ground before burying themselves.

"It took several hours to dig them up," local police inspector Fredrik Söderlind told the TT news agency.

According to Lundgren Sker "no one stands to benefit" from the mine, adding that she felt isolated in her own Social Democrat party, which holds power in Jokkmokk municipality.

"They've chosen a quick fix, a short-term solution to the long-term budget problems that all inland communities face," she said, referring to the brain drain facing many smaller rural communities across Sweden.

Lundgren Sker said an open-cast mine at Kallak would provide 375 jobs, whereas, in comparison, a new tourism centre in the Jokkmokk's Sarek National Park, a World Heritage site, could provide 500 jobs.

"It's a lot more jobs, and it's forever, compared to the mining jobs that will last as long as the open-cast mine is open for about 14 years," she said. "Then there's nothing left but a hole in ground."

"For some unfathomable reason, Jokkmokk municipality is sacrificing its population's well-being to make some rich person even richer," she added. "It wouldn't surprise me so much if the local politicians were conservative."

The blockade of site has now been up running for a month prior to this week's burial protest, which Beowulf said won't stop work on the site.

"There are a limited number of protesters at the (Kallak) site who have sought to disrupt operations," Beowulf said in a recent statement, but added that it was "continuing to make good progress with its fieldwork activities in full compliance with the terms and conditions of its various licences, work plans and its approved test mining permit which remains valid for two years from the date of works commencing."

Beowulf is listed on both the AIM market in London and the AktieTorget market in Stockholm.

"Sweden's mining law, which is among the world's most permissible, allows companies that pay tax abroad to fly in staff that pay income tax abroad," Lundberg Sker said, explaining that she disliked the law both as a Swede and as a Sami. Her youth council's appeal to Enterprise Minister Annie Lööf to come visit the site has so far fallen on deaf ears.

"It's not just mining, of course, we also have forestry companies and energy companies that run hydroelectric dams up north where there is nothing going back to the local community."

A mosque in Copenhagen’s Nordvest district is approaching completion and, with its minaret and dome, will be Denmark’s first “real” mosque.

So says Mohamed al Mainouni, the media spokesperson for Dansk Islamisk Råd, the organisation responsible for building the mosque.

“The minaret and done are two important aspects of the mosque,” al Mainouni told Jyllands-Posten newspaper. “They have an important symbolic meaning and demonstrate that we have a proper place to be and that we are recognised.”

Under Danish law, minarets cannot be used to broadcast a call to prayer.

The 6,800 square metre Sunni mosque on Rovsingsgade will house class rooms, a restaurant, a cinema, childcare facilities and more in what al Mainouni says is the largest mosque in Scandinavia.

The mosque was only possible because of a 150 million kroner donation by the former ruling emir of Qatar, Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, which has led critics to voice concern that the mosque will be used as mouthpiece for the Islamic state’s conservative views.

Al Mainouni dismissed the criticism, however, and said that without the investment the construction of the mosque would not have been possible. He added that the mosque plans on raising its own money by renting out rooms and facilities.

“The emir donated the money personally from his private bank account but he won’t dictate anything political or ideological. Denmark is the only country in Europe that does not have a [large] mosque and he wanted to give the opportunity to Muslims in [Denmark]," al Mainouni told Jyllands-Posten.

He added that the Friday prayer, which will be spoken in both Arabic and Danish, will be led by Danish imams who would have to be trained abroad.

“Islam in the Middle East is not Islam in Europe,” al Mainouni said. “The mechanisms that work in Europe are not the same as those in Morocco, the Middle East or North Africa. Islam in Europe has its own identity and we want our imam to have that understanding.”

But City Council member Lars Aslan Rasmussen (Socialdemokraterne) questioned al Mainouni’s promise that there won’t be any outside influence.

“Gifts like these from Qatar are not free and I am worried that Muslims in Denmark risk becoming radicalised and pushed even further from the society that they should be a part of,” Rasmussen told Berlingske newspaper, adding that the 25,000 member Dansk Islamisk Råd is a member of The Federation of Islamic Organizations, which has close connections to both Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

“I am sure that they will end up preaching an ultra conservative interpretation of Islam," Rasmussen said. "I am disappointed that Denmark’s first big mosque will represent this interpretation of Islam. They have the right to open the mosque, but I think that their connections to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas are deeply problematic.”

Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, who ruled Qatar for 18 years before handing over power to his son this year, is expected to come to Denmark to open the mosque later this year. While he has been credited with helping transform Qatar from a rural community into a metropolitan, educational and artistic hub in the Middle East with strong links to the West and Israel, he has also been accused of funding terrorist and jihadist organisations in North Africa and Syria.

But al Mainouni explained that the emir has made no demands to influence the teachings at the mosque.

“The best way to start a dialogue and inform about the true principles of Islam is by creating a proper forum to invite Danish politicians to come in for talks and debates. In that way we could promote our moderate message about Islam. The emir liked that idea.”

The construction of the Rovsingsgade mosque has passed beneath the radar of the Danish press and has met little resistance. A planned Shia mosque with a blue dome and two minarets on nearby Vibevej, constructed with financial support from Iran, has faced long delays due to strong protests. There is also a mosque under development in Amager, and Jyllands-Posten reports that mosque projects in Roskilde and Aarhus are also underway and could open by next year.

Spain's first-ever town councillor with Down Syndrome is set to start work in the Spanish city of Valladolid on Monday, but many people with her condition in Spain find themselves unable to vote because of a legal loophole.


Thirty-year old Ángela Covadonga Bachiller will take up the new post after another councilman in the city in central Spain left his post.

Bachiller's decision to get involved in politics began with her participation in Valladolid's May 2011 electoral campaign.

Later, city mayor Francisco Javier León de la Riva described her as "an example of strength and of someone overcoming obstacles".

Spain's Down España association — which represents some 80 Down Syndrome groups around the country — welcomed the news of Bachiller's new position, describing it as "positive" but "exceptional".

Association president Agustín Matía also warned there was a long way to go.

She highlighted the "paradoxical" nature of a situation where a woman with Down's Syndrome could become a town councillor while other "young people of the same age and in the same conditions aren't entitled to vote".

Under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, people with disabilities are guaranteed participation in political and public life, including the right to vote.

However, while intellectually disabled people in Spain are theoretically entitled to participate during elections, many find themselves unable to do after they are declared 'incapacitated' by a judge.

Spanish judges often declare people with disabilities incapacitated to protect them from making poor financial or life choice decisions.

Under current Spanish legislation, though, people automatically lose the right to vote when they are declared 'incapacitated' for other purposes.

FEAPS put the number of people affected by this legal grey area at a little under 80,000.
But Spain's peak body for people with intellectual disabilities FEAPS wants to change this.

Lawyers with the group argue that the right to vote should be taken away from people "only in cases" where this has been "explicitly mentioned" in a judicial sentence.

"We have to put an end to a situation where people with disabilities can't vote— and people with Down Syndrome in particular," said Down España president Matía.

"The right to vote is often very important for people with Down Syndrome and other intellectual disabilities," Inés de Araoz, a lawyer with FEAPS told The Local.

"This is an opportunity for them to feel like citizens, and they often prepare their vote more carefully than others."

The origin of the bioweapon we call HIV/AIDS may have begun on April 12, 1955.

Jonas Salk’s polio vaccine was licensed for public use in the US and in the years following, an estimated 90 million Americans were inoculated in what can be described as the largest mass vaccination campaign ever.

This initiative was falsely credited with Polio virtually disappearing from the continent and Jonas Salk became a hero.

However, following the mass vaccination, 260 children who were immunized with Salk’s Polio vaccine became strangely ill. Initial reports say that 11 of them died. This prompted an investigation revealed that some doses of the vaccine were defective. This launched a suspicious meme throughout the general public and hurt the rhetoric that had previously justified an initiative to worldwide vaccinations.

Two scientific icons of the time, Dr. Hilary Koprowski, director of the Wistar Institute in Philadelphia, as well as Dr. Albert Sabin, a physician at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, became motivated to replace the Salk vaccine.

The Wistar Institute is a biomedical center devoted to the research and development of vaccines with a focus on cancer research. They also work with the US bioweapons projects with regard to establishing cancer virus strength as well as medical research training.

The HIV/AIDS virus has been traced back to the creation of immune-suppressive cancer viruses that could be difficult to detect and cause death by the compromise of the human immune system so as to further hide the actual cause of the disease.

‘Volunteer’ receiving Koprowski’s Vaccine

Both Sabin and Koprowski’s vaccines were derived from monkey organs. They needed to test them in large, non-immunized population groups, no longer available in North America. Koprowski moved his study to the Belgian Congo which had one of Africa’s more modern health care infrastructures at the time. Between 1956 and 1960 more than 1 million African people were ‘encouraged’ to receive Koprowski’s vaccine called CHAT.

Sabin analyzed Koprowski’s vaccine in 1958 and found it to be ‘unstable and contaminated by an unknown virus’. He told Koprowski about his discovery and went then went public with his findings. This became the smoking gun that lead to the discovery that the vaccine had a “hitchhiker” that would be revealed as the cause of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The simian virus SV40, which was used to create a human version, would turn into the greatest bioweapon known to man and the biggest push forward with the global Elite’s eugenics program under cover of a mystery to remain “unsolved” to this day.

It is also sickening in the extreme to discover that these so-called ‘civilized men-of-science’ were responsible for the harvesting of the organs of chimpanzees, whilst the animals were paralyzed, but still alive and aware, as revealed towards the end of the following CBC Witness documentary.

Here is her story:

Bara'ah is a 10 year old who finished memorizing the whole Qur'an with Tajweed. Her parents were doctors who moved to Saudi Arabia in search of better life. Bara'ah was very intelligent. Her teacher used to tell her that she should be in middle school not primary school.

Her family was small and committed to Islam and its teachings. One day, her mother began experiencing severe abdominal pain. After going to the hospital and diagnostics tests and imaging performed, it was discovered that she had cancer, but in its late stages.

The mother thought she should tell her daughter, especially if she wakes up one day and didn't find her mother beside her. Being at the young tender age of 10, her mother told her: "Bara`ah, I will go to paradise ahead of you, but I want you to read the Quran you memorized every day since it will protect you in this life."

The little girl didn't really understand what her mother was trying to tell her, but she began feeling the change in her mother's status. Soon, her mother was was transferred to stay in the hospital on a permanent basis. Bara'ah used to come to the hospital after school and recite the Quran for her mother until the evening when her father would take her home.

One day the hospital called the husband and informed him that the his wife's condition had deteriorated and that it would be advisable to come to the hospital immediately. The father picked up Bara`ah from school and headed to the hospital. When they arrived, he asked her to stay in the car so he could first see what the condition of his wife was.

The father got out of the car with tears filled in his eyes. While crossing the road to enter the hospital, he was hit by a speeding car and died in front of his daughter who came crying to her father.

The tragedy of Bar`ah is not over yet. The news of her father's death was hidden from the mother. Her condition steadily worsened, and 5 days later, she passed away leaving Bar`ah alone without her parents. Her parents' friends decided to find her relatives in Egypt so that they could take care of her.

Soon thereafter, Bara`ah began having severe pain, similar to what her mother experienced. At the hospital, she too was diagnosed with cancer. At the surprise of everyone she said, "Alhamdulillah, now I will meet my parents."

All of the family friends were shocked at her response. This little girl, being faced with calamity after calamity, yet she remained patient and satisfied with what Allah ordained for her!

The news of Bara'ah and her story spread. One Saudi heard of her story and decided to take care of her. He sent her to the UK to receive the appropriate treatment for her condition.

In the UK, her condition worsened and the cancer spread throughout her body with metastasis in multiple organs. The doctors had to amputate her legs, yet she still remained patient. Soon, the cancer spread to her brain the doctors had to do brain surgery. Bara'ah went into a full coma.

Before she went into coma, one of the Islamic channels (Al Hafiz - The protector) got in contact with this little girl and asked her to recite the Qur'an. This video is of her beautiful recitation of Surah Rahman.

The news on artificial sweeteners isn't sweet. Artificial sweeteners are notorious for making you gain weight and become unhealthy. That's right. If you think about that for a second, it defies all logic, yet it is the bitter and ironic truth.

Artificial sweeteners mess with your metabolism
The scoop on artificial sweeteners is that they slow down the body's metabolism and put you at the risk of metabolic disorders and consequent weight gain. The idea that obesity could very well have it's roots in a diet of low calorie sweets and soft drinks, as ludicrous as it sounds, could be entirely true. According to a scientific study done in the United States in 2008 on a sample of 18,000 people consuming one or more artificially sweetened, "diet" drinks per day increased their risk of acquiring metabolic disorders by 30 to 40 percent. This might give us an inkling as to why obesity is on the rise, for instance.

Aspartame: The deadliest of them all
Another artificial sweetener Aspartame is known for causing a range of health problems and worrying symptoms from seizures to brain tumors. The controversy runs that the FDA has approved Aspartame as "safe", yet it is one of the most dangerous additive to be forced upon the public by deceitful means. Only 90 different symptoms have been documented as a result of Aspartame consumption and these include anxiety attacks, slurred speech, fatigue, depression, migraine, tinnitus, vertigo, heart palpitations, nausea and muscle spasms. Epilepsy, brain tumors and chronic fatigue have not been ruled out either as chronic symptoms of long-term exposure to Aspartame.

Aspartame is combination of chemicals, namely aspartic acid (an amino acid with excitatory effects on brain cells), methanol and phenylalanine and scientists are placing it at the higher end of the range of what is considered toxic.

Aspartame acts as neurotransmitter with the singular goal of causing neural damage. There is evidence to show that it can damage more than three quarters of the brain cells of a particular part of the brain before any signs of clinical illness of chronic symptoms are noticed. And then, presumably, it will be too late. One of the most common complaints of people suffering from excessive exposure to Aspartame is memory loss, and most ironically, the original manufacturer of Aspartame, GD Searle, tried to find a drug that could "combat memory loss caused by excitatory amino acid damage".

And as if all this is not enough, a neuroscientist from the University of Washington and an authority on excitotoxins warned Searle that Aspartame, when tested on mice, created holes in their brains. Add to everything else we have read the following: people suffering from phenylketonuria, a genetic disorder, are incapable of metabolizing phenylalanine. They end up with levels of phenylalanine concentration in the brain considered dangerous to the point of being lethal.

The question we are left with (and unfortunately it is for us, the consumers, to work out the answer to) is this: do labeling laws leave us enough room to steer clear of artificial sweeteners altogether or is it just plain rhetoric?

Authorities announced on Monday that 305 bears will be killed this year during the annual bear hunt across Sweden, roughly one tenth of the total population.


The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency - EPA (Naturvårdsverket) said on Monday that Sweden's brown bears will be culled by roughly ten percent to keep the population at around 3,000, in line with the culls of previous years.

"It's partly for the hunters who use the skin and meat, but also to control the numbers and avoid the damages caused by the bears in urban areas," Per Risberg, desk officer at the EPA, told The Local.

He added that a large bear population increases the risk of damages to reindeer and sheep herds, particularly in the northern reaches of Sweden.

The hunt will mostly take place in central Sweden around Dalarna, throughout Gävleborg County, and into Värmland, Risberg explained.

Brown bears, he added, pose no real threat to humans.

"In the last 30 to 40 years, there have only been two fatalities due to bear attacks. Of course, there are attacks almost every year, but these are mostly minor and mostly hunting related, mainly due to the involvement of hunting dogs."

The bears will be professionally hunted in the period between August 21st and October 15th.

The headline of this newspaper is “Lucky to be alive”. This applies to Bill.

Right after Bill leaves the morgue to confirm that Amanda died, Ziegler calls him and invites him over.

Taking place in Ziegler’s pool room, the back and forth between the two men is more intense than any game of pool.

Although Bill is a rich doctor, he is not part of the elite. Ziegler’s attitude towards Bill makes it very clear. While Ziegler appears to want to be honest and straight with Bill, we realize that he is simply trying to cover the ugly truth. After all, Bill is an “outsider”. He tells Bill:

“I don’t think you realize what kind of trouble you were in last night. Who do you think those people were? Those were not just ordinary people there. If I told you their names – I’m not gonna tell you their names – but if I did, I don’t think you’d sleep so well.”

Ziegler therefore admits that people attending the ritual were high-level, well-known and powerful people. Kubrick is therefore making clear that the richest, most powerful deciders of the “real world” meet in these types of rituals … and that these rituals are off-limits for the profane.

When Bill mentions Amanda, Ziegler gets more defensive and replies: “She was a hooker” – meaning that she was an Beta slave that could be easily disposed of. Then Ziegler tells Bill that everything that happened at the ritual was a charade to scare him, Bill answers:

“You called it a fake, a charade. Do you mind telling me what kind of f—-cking charade ends with someone turning up dead?”



This highlights the fundamental difference between the public’s perception of occult rituals and what actually happens. Regular people are lead to believe that these elite rituals are nothing more than goofy meetings of people with too much time on their hands. In reality, these elaborate rituals often incorporate real attempts at Black Magick and include real blood sacrifices and other terrible acts.

Then Ziegler proceeds to telling Bill the same stuff media tells the masses when someone has been sacrificed by the elite: She OD’ed, she was a junkie, it was only a matter of time, and the police did not see any foul play.

Conclusion of Part II

The second part of this analysis focused exclusively on the unnamed secret society Bill stumbles upon and its ritual. Although nothing is explicitly spelled out to the viewers, the symbolism, the visual clues and even the music of Eyes Wide Shut tell reveals a side of the occult elite that is rarely shown to the masses. Not only does the movie depict the world’s richest and most powerful people partaking in occult rituals, it also shows how this circle has also the power to exploit slaves, to stalk people, and even to get away with sacrificial murders. Even worse, mass media participates in covering their crimes.

The secret society in the movie closely resembles the infamous Hellfire Club, where prominent political figures met up to partake in elaborate Satanic parties. Today, the O.T.O. and similar secret societies still partake in rituals involving physical energy as it is perceived to be a way to attain a state of enlightenment. This concept, taken from Tantric yoga, is at the core of modern and powerful secret societies. Although none of this is actually mentioned in Eyes Wide Shut, the entire movie can be interpreted as one big “magickal” journey, characterized by a back-and-forth between opposing forces: life and death, lust and pain, male and female, light and darkness, and so forth … ending in one big orgasmic moment of enlightenment. This aspect of the movie, along with other hidden details, will be analyzed in the third and final part of this series of articles onEyes Wide Shut.

The last scene of the movie takes place at a toy store – a place full of highly symbolic items (more on it in the next article). Here, Helena Hartford walks by a toy called Magic Circle – showing that the occult elite’s ways seep through popular culture, but are not noticed by those who have their eyes wide shut.

At the beginning of the ritual, one of the Beta slaves goes to Bill and urges him to leave the house before he got caught. We ultimately learn that it was Amanda, the girl that was passed out in Ziegler’s bathroom. When Bill gets caught and gets (literally) unmasked by the High Priest, Amanda appears at the balcony in a very dramatic fashion and tells the High Priest she wants to “redeem” him, in a tone that approaches ritual drama. The Priest then replies “Are you sure you understand what you’re taking upon yourself in doing this?” This implies that she will be repeatedly abused and then sacrificed.

The next day, Bill discovers the true power of that secret society.

By freeze-framing and actually reading the above news article about Amanda, we learn important details about Amanda’s background (classic hidden sub-plot integration by Kubrick). To those “in the know”, the article perfectly describes the life of an entertainment industry Beta Programming slave (i.e. Marilyn Monroe). We indeed learn that Amanda was “emotionally troubled” as a teen and underwent “treatments” (a code word for MK Programming perhaps?), she had “important friends in the fashion and entertainment worlds”, and she had an “affair” with a powerful fashion designer who got “wowed by her private, seductive solo performances” (typical behavior of a Beta Kitten). What the article however conveniently doesn’t mention is that she was selling her body to elite people and being used in their occult rituals.

As it is the case for Beta Kittens who’ve gone “rogue”, she was eliminated by the people who controlled her life. The article states that she was last seen being escorted to her hotel room by two men and that she was “giggling” (drugged and dissociated?). Like “real life” elite sacrifices, “overdose” is cited as the cause of her death.

The High Priest

The double-headed eagle is one of the most ancient and prominent symbols of Freemasonry. A crowned double headed eagle is representative of the 33rd degree of Freemasonry, the highest degree attainable. Is Kubrick implying that the High Priest is a 33rd Degree Freemason?

Like other participants of the ritual, the true identity of the High Priest is never revealed. However, Kubrick left a few clues hinting to his identity and his relationship with Amanda.

In the movie’s end credits (and sources such as IMDB), it is listed that the role of the High Priest was played by “assistant director” of the movie, Leon Vitali. If one carefully reads the news article mentioned above, Leon Vitali is the name of the London fashion designer Amanda had an “affair” with. Furthermore, the High Priest has an unmistakable English accent. We can therefore deduce that the High Priest is the fashion designer.

This hidden subplot is interesting as it reveals the true nature of the fashion and entertainment industry. High-ranking individuals in these fields are initiated in occult secret societies and deal with MK slaves.

The Power of the Secret Society

When Bill is uncovered by the High Priest, he gets told that he and his family would pay for any transgression. The next day, he realizes that he is being followed by strange people and becomes paranoid.

Aleister Crowley’s connections with Indian Yoga and Tantra were both considerable and complex. Crowley had direct exposure to some forms of these practices and was familiar with the contemporary literature of the subjects, wrote extensively about them, and – what is perhaps the most important – he practiced them. In his assessment of the value of Tantra, he was ahead of his time, which habitually considered Tantra a degenerate form of Hinduism. Instead, he claimed that, “paradoxical as it may sound the Tantrics are in reality the most advanced of the Hindus”. Crowley’s influence in bringing Eastern, primarily Indian, esoteric traditions to the West extends also to his incorporation of the elements of Yoga and Tantra into the structure and program of two influential magical orders, the A.:A.: and the OTO.”

The above quote stipulates that Tantric concepts were incorporated in two important secret societies: the A.:A.: and the OTO (Ordo Templi Orientis). The OTO is still extremely influential in elite circles and reaches the highest levels of politics, business and even the entertainment industry. At the core of these orders is the Thelema, a philosophy created by Aleister Crowley that he summed up with the saying “Do What Thou Wilt”. This saying is actually a translation of “Fais ce que tu voudras” the motto of an 18th century secret society, the infamous Hellfire Club.

Hellfire Clubs were said to be “meeting places of ‘persons of quality’ who wished to take part in immoral acts, and the members were often very involved in politics”. According to a number of sources, their activities included mock religious ceremonies, devil worship and occult rituals. Although details are vague regarding that elite club, they were known for performing elementary Satanic rites as a prelude to their nights of fornication. These acts were however not just “for fun” or to “shock people” as some sources might claim, the members were initiates of occult mysteries and their rituals were based in ancient rites involving invocations and other forms of black magick.

In short, although Kubrick never actually names the secret society infiltrated by Bill, there are enough clues to understand what kind of club he is referring to. Most importantly, he is telling his viewers: These societies still exist … and they are more powerful than ever.

The Ritual and its Participants

The ritual begins with the High Priest, dressed in red, performing a ceremonial routine. He is at the center of a “magic circle” formed by young women who are very likely to be Beta Kitten slaves. Later, when Bill is unmasked, another magic circle is formed.

The concept of Magic Circles is constantly refered to during the ritual and throughout the movie.

A couple wearing Venetian masks (more specifically “female jester” and “bauta” masks) slowly turn towards Bill and nod in a very creepy matter. Is this Ziegler and his wife? Perhaps. Kubrick likes to keep things mysterious.

Venetian masks were originally worn during the Italian Renaissance in Venice and were a way for the powerful elite of the time to indulge in debauchery without reprisal.

“Though the precise origin of the mask-wearing tradition can’t be known for certain, the prevailing theory goes something like this: beginning in the Italian Renaissance, Venice was an extremely wealthy and powerful merchant empire. Its position on the Mediterranean sea opened it up to a myriad of trading opportunities across Europe, North Africa and Asia Minor, and its powerful navy allowed it to exert the military force necessary to defend its vast wealth. In a city-state so prosperous, it’s a small wonder that Venetian society was class-obsessed and rigidly stratified. One’s individual standing was immensely important for the perception of his or her entire family, and so naturally the pressure to act in accordance with the social morays governing one’s social standing was immense and stifling. The Venetians, the theory goes, adopted the practice of wearing masks and other disguises during the Carnival season as a way of suspending the rigid social order. Under the cloak of anonymity, the citizens of Venice could loosen their inhibitions without fear of reprisal. Masks gained so much popularity that the mascherari (mask makers) became a venerated guild in Venetian society. However, as word of the famed Venetian Carnival spread, more and more outsiders flocked to the city every year to take part in the festivities. The Carnival celebrations became increasingly chaotic and debaucherous as the years progressed until their decline in the 18th Century.”

Since then, Venetian masks have been used in elite circles and have somewhat become a symbol of its dark occult philosophy.Even The British Royal Family appears to enjoy the same type of masks and events.

It seems evident that Kubrick carefully selected the Rothschild-owned location and hand-picked the masks worn by participants of the ritual, echoing real-life families and events.

Setting of the Ritual

When Bill enters Somerton, everything about the movie changes. There are no more colorful Christmas lights and no tacky decorations. Instead of incessant chatter between needy people, it is all about stillness and silence.

Staring right at the camera (and at the movie viewers), the creepy masks are silent yet disturbing reminders showing the “true faces” of the elite. Note that the multi-faced mask on the left which is similar to the one worn at the Royal party above.

The music in the movie also changes drastically. The song heard in the background is called “Backwards Priests” and features a Romanian Orthodox Divine Liturgy played backwards. The reversal or inversion of sacred objects is typical of black magic and satanic rituals. By having this Christian liturgy played backwards right before widespread fornication is Kubrick’s way of stating that the elite is nothing less than satanic.

Here we see Nick Nightindale playing the song “Backwards Priest”, meaning that people in the ritual actually hear that music and that the whole thing is choreographed to it. Nightindale is blindfolded because the “profane” cannot witness the occult rituals of the elite.

The interior scenes of the party were shot at Elveden Hall, a private house in the UK designed to look like an Indian palace. When the “festivities” begin, a Tamil song called “Migration” plays in the background, adding to the South-Asian atmosphere (the original version of the song contained actual scriptural recitation of the Bhagavad Gita, but the chant was removed in the final version of the movie). This peculiar Indian atmosphere, combined with the lascivious scenes witnessed by Bill as he walks around the house, ultimately points towards the most important, yet most hidden part of the movie: Tantric Yoga and its Western occultism derivative, Sex Magick. This last concept was “imported” by British occultist Aleister Crowley and is now at the center of the teachings of various secret societies:

The second part of this series of articles on Eyes Wide Shut takes a closer look at the elite secret society discovered by the film’s main character, Bill Hartford, and how it resembles real life organizations. Was Stanley Kubrick trying to warn the world about the occult elite and its depraved ways?

In the first part of this series on Eyes Wide Shut, we looked at main characters of the film and the symbolic world Kubrick created around them. We saw that Bill and Alice Hartford are a married upper-class couple that was not immune to the temptations of adultery. We also saw that the couple was in contact with the upper-echelon of New-York and its decadent ways – a world that fascinates Bill, but that has a dark side, one that is kept from the public. In this article, I will jump straight to the most unsettling part of the movie: The secret society ritual.

When Bill learns that his wife has considered cheating on him, he embarks in a strange series of encounters (which I will analyze in the third and final part of this series), eventually ending up in a luxurious house in Long Island where he encounters a large gathering of masked individuals partaking in an occult ritual. Since he was never initiated into that secret society, Bill was not even supposed to know that it existed, let alone bear witness to one of its “meetings”. So how did he find out about this thing? Well, a little birdie told him.

Nick Nightingale

At one point during his strange night out, Bill meets his old friend Nick Nightingale at a jazz cafe. The professional piano player reveals to Bill that he is sometimes hired by mysterious people to play, blindfolded, during mysterious parties that are full of beautiful women. This juicy piece of information intrigues Bill to the highest degree because, since his talk with his wife, he is appears to be looking for some kind of … experience. Nick ultimately makes a big mistake and agrees to provide Bill with all of the information needed to access the venue.

A nightingale is type of bird that is known for singing at night, just like Nick Nightingale “sings” secret information at the start of Bill’s fateful night.

The password to enter the ritual is “Fidelio”, which means “faithfulness”, a main theme of the movie. More importantly, as Nightingale points out, “Fidelio” is the name of an opera written by Beethoven about a wife who sacrifices herself to free her husband from death as a political prisoner. This password actually foreshadows what will happen during that ritual.

After getting the details from Nightingale, Bill rents a costume at a store named “Rainbow” (more about the store in the next article) … and then proceeds to go to Somerton, the estate where the party is being held.

The Occult Elite

The location selected to film the elite scenes is quite interesting. Mentmore Towers was built in the 19th century as a country house for a member of the most prominent and powerful elite family in the world: The Rothschilds. By selecting this location, was Kubrick trying to show his audience the “real world” equivalents to the ultra-elite shown in the movie? Incidentally, the name of Bill’s connection to the elite, Victor Ziegler, is of German-Jewish origin, like Rothschild.

It has been documented that the Rothschilds do actually partake in masked events very similar to those shown in Eyes Wide Shut. Here are rare images taken from a 1972 party given by Marie-Hélène de Rothschild.

A senior physician illegally spent hospital funds to buy expensive furniture and salmon fishing holidays to Norway, Jyllands-Posten newspaper reports.

Peer Grande, a 62-year-old Norwegian heart doctor at the Copenhagen hospital Rigshospitalet, has been the focus of an investigation by the newspaper since it discovered in June that he had received money in his private account that should have been paid to the hospital.

Since 2000, Grande has received over two million kroner from the pharmaceutical companies MSD and Pfizer in connection with trials that the companies were carrying out at Rigshospitalet under Grande's supervision.

But rules enacted in 1999 barred doctors from directly receiving money from pharmaceutical companies. According to the regulations, the money should always be paid into a hospital bank account in order to prevent questions about the impartiality of doctors who carry out the studies.

Yesterday, Jyllands-Posten revealed that Grande used the pharmaceutical funds to pay for 61,000 kroner worth of furniture and at least 61,000 kroner on fishing trips in Norway.

After being presented by Jyllands-Posten's evidence, Rigshospitalet chose to report Grande to the Copenhagen Police, which has charged him with fraud.

Until 1999, doctors were allowed to receive and administer money directly from pharmaceutical companies. According to Jyllands-Posten, Grande has had a bank account with Danske Bank since the 1980s specifically for this purpose. The account is in Rigshospitalet’s name but Grande is the only person who can access it.

Copenhagen’s local health authority, Region Hovedstaden, is now investigating the possibility that more of these shadow accounts may exist.

“We are looking at all the protocols to see if they are working as they should,” Rigshospitalet’s spokesperson Jannik Hilsted told Jyllands-Posten. "After a case like this, what we are focussing on is whether pharmaceutical companies are paying money in accordance with the hospital’s rules for the external financing of clinical trials, and if the money is being placed in the right accounts.”

Pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca stated last week that it was investigating all of its clinical trials in Denmark to see if the money it paid made its way to the right recipients.

“These are serious allegations that have been raised and we want to ensure that we followed the rules correctly,” company spokesperson Martin Olovsson told Jyllands-Posten. “After the summer holiday we will start a special task force to take a look at all the clinical trials we have financed in Denmark over the past ten years. We want to be able to sleep easily at night knowing that everything is in order.”

Grande ran six trials for AstraZeneca since 2005 and according to their information the money was paid into the correct account.

The following is an interview Beverly Bell conducted with Marjorie Valcelat, an assembly work who ran an embroidery machine in a factory from 2005 to 2008. She says the experience made her so sick and weak that she’s not felt able to work since then.

I had three children I had to take care of; their father had left. And since I hadn’t had enough schooling, I didn’t have the skills to do much. So I said to myself, “I’m going to work at a factory.” When I got there, they showed me how to run the machines to embroider slips and nightshirts. I spent a month training, but during that time they didn’t pay me; I had to pay them for the training.

If I had met the quota, every two weeks I would have made 1,250 gourdes [US$30.00]. Yep, that’s it. But I couldn’t meet the quota, because embroidery wasn’t my specialty. I did what I could. Sometimes they paid me 500 gourdes [US$12.50], sometimes 400 gourdes [US $9.50], every two weeks. I needed to support my family and I couldn’t survive.

Then when the machine broke and I called the mechanics to fix the machine – you put a red cloth on the machine so they’d know it’s broken – they wouldn’t come because I was so scrawny. The big women, the ones with the fat bottoms that they can feel up, the mechanics would go fix their machines. I had been in good shape, big, but the machine and those lights were sucking me dry. So I could never get the machine fixed [so I could keep embroidering] and that put me even more under quota.

It was such misery. And then, I had to travel from far away. There were times when I had to get on the road at 4:00 in the morning, but there’d be traffic jams and I still couldn’t arrive on time. At 6:00, they would close the entrance gates. That would mean that I got all the way there, but then I had to turn around and break my back to return home, and they never paid me. And I’d still have to pay the two bus fares, 20 gourdes [47 cents], and where was I supposed to get that money? Sometimes I had to borrow money just to get to work.

You didn’t even have time to eat. They’d let you out at 11:00, and then they’d ring the bell before 11:30. You had to return. There were people who’d throw out the rest of their food because they didn’t have enough time to eat. Sometimes the vendors near the plant would run out of food, and you’d have to spend a lot of time trying to find food [further away]. If you got back after 11:30 to find the gates closed, you lost the whole day.

And then oftentimes, because you had to move so fast, the needle would break inside your finger. One person I knew, the needle sewed through her finger and to this day, she still can’t use it.

I thought I would do better over time, but I got worse because my muscles got too weak. The last time I was paid, I got 190 gourdes [US$4.52] for two weeks. I had just gone [to the factory] so the children could go to school and their life could be better than mine. I said to myself, “Well, I don’t need to come here any more. I’d best quit this.”

When I left the factory, I was so angry that when I passed the woman who’d cooked the food I had bought for lunch, I just gave her all the money and went on my way.

Me, if I had a message I could send to the higher-ups: there will always be factories, because they’ve always existed, crushing the poor. I don’t speak for other people, and some people will still go work in the factories. But Mrs. Bill Clinton will never see me working there. [As Secretary of State, she promoted the expansion of the export assembly industry.] I will never go to whatever factory Mrs. Clinton opened.

We need another model, we do. I could understand if [the US government] came to Haiti and wanted to build schools, because so many schools were destroyed and a lot of children are in the streets. If [they] worked alongside people like this, reconstructing schools, building some health centers, well, that would be better than a factory.

Mrs. Clinton can have her factories. Me and my children, we’ll take the health centers.
