Should not be a problem at all and all are fine touse ... just check that TB and PCC are still valid as those two have short expiry date

when you are uploading you documents either self or assisted, also upload the old and new passport so basically the visa office will see the old passport as part of your document .

Thanks for the info. Appreciated

no need to rewrite or retake tests. What ukvi wants is the result and not passport number. The new passport carries old passpt no for any doubts annd he/she can still attach old data page of old passport to show continuity.
akaprince pls stop spamming all the threads

Thanks for the response. It's appreciated. I needed a few alike responses to be sure. Again, thanks.

Keep a copy of the data page of the previous passport just incase.
The new one will have the number of the old one
So I think you are good to go.

Thanks for the response. It's appreciated

Hello Seniors.

Please, can one apply for skilled worker visa using ielts result, PCC and IOM medical certificate carrying the old passport details? Just renewed passport last month after delays in getting sponsorship. Is it okay to apply without updating the three documents with the new passport details? The old passport number is on the new one. Need guidance from those who have experienced same please. Please, please kindly respond. Don't skip. Thanks

Hello everyone,

My Tuberculosis test result expires on the 28th of May 2022 and I intend to start my Uk student visa application this week, because I'm getting my CAS this week (all other documents are ready). Since priority and super priority visa options are cancelled, would the expiry date of my tb test result be an issue since it's quite close?

Kindly take note that your tb test result must still be valid at the border entry in the UK. They will ask to see it. You could confirm from IOM.

Hi Sarssy, Have you gotten your COS yet? How long did it take to get assigned? Is it a Care home job?

Thanks to revert.

Hello fam.

Please, how can one get a very cheap car rental service in the UK that includes insurance, MOT and service? I just want to pay monthly rental while the car company takes care of the rest. Got NHS job that requires driving to the homes of patients.

Can't afford to buy a car as the trust requires I have a car to drive for the job on resumption day. And I don't qualify for car salary sacrifice scheme according to the trust.

Please, kindly help.

Thanks

Please house, for those of you that registered with HCPC, how long did it take you to complete the Registration? I mean those that started and finished their Registration in Nigeria. Thanks for your anticipated response

From my research and what I have heard it takes 60 days plus. If your application returns successful, you will be sent a payment link for annual registration fee.

Hi , visa refusals even after CoS has been issued. And one had university degree. I’m guessing they didn’t study health related courses maybe.
And if NVQ3 is just a 9months course that means Our diploma from health colleges Senior am well well be that lol
Meanwhile I heard also that the NHS has stopped sponsoring visas for Senior care workers so job seekers in that respect might want to save some time and energy by narrowing their search to only licensed care homes. On a brighter note we pray mass care worker shortage will inspire them to stamp for all scw applicants lol. Fingers crossed, it will end in praise

If they have qualifications from college of health technology in Nigeria, it may not fly. I think they assess the Diploma from college of health not to be closely related to health and social care. Nursing Diploma will fly without any issue because it falls under health and social care. Those with bsc that were denied too may have a degree that is not closely related to health and social care. Perhaps you could provide more details on the degree qualification these ones presented so that we can analyze and learn.

Hello house,
Everywhere con quiet wetin de sup na? Abeg those who have successfully applied as senior care workers should come and help us clear the air on the certifications required to prove “appropriate skill level”
What exactly do they mean by NVQ3 equivalents in adult health and social care or related health professions?
Been hearing some disturbing refusal stories due to inappropriate skill level and it’s really scary.
Some said if you have a certificate from a college of health or a training in adult health and social care one needs to get a Naric comparison statement to prove that it’s equivalent to NVQ3. Does that mean that our diploma certificates from institutions like college of health technology in Nigeria won’t be enough proof. From the universal grading sheet, a diploma from a college of health technology in Nigeria is equivalent to level 4/5 Btec or so. I don’t know if I’m correct. But I’m scared stiff. Some please help clear the air. May God’s mercy and favour speak over our applications in Jesus name

Please, do you mean job application rejection or visa refusal?

From what I know, nvq level 3 is a 9 month program and is not a degree. It's equivalent to A-level in the uk. It's more like a year 1 Foundation program. Our 3 year Diploma in health cert is above it. If you apply to NHS jobs with a 3 year Diploma cert in health, you will be shortlisted for interview though will also depend on your work experience and your profile.

This was my situation some weeks back. After sending mail, I got no responses; then, I sent a reminder two times on the fourth working day and stated that their SLA was three days. Also, my hubby went there to put our name down on the fourth day, and surprisingly we got a scheduled that evening. So maybe you should follow my style. Also, note that you are going to spend your entire day there. They are damn slow and inefficient.

I wish you all the best.

Thanks for the suggestion. Will tell her to work on this.

That wasnt the experience of my wife. After the interview, they sent her a mail telling her that she was successful, that someone will send her an email, which they did. They sent mail to her referees , at a point one of her referees email address wasnt going, she was informed and she requested if she could change her, which they agreed to. After the confirmation of her referees, they sent her conditional offer, after that, they sent her COS and the rest is history.

Thanks for the feedback. She sent sent a mail to the employer and requested that she sends alternate email addresses for her references and she got a message from the NHS trust that once I they received the feedback from the referees she would get an offer. Referees have responded and it's hoped that the NHS employer will revert next week. Please, what's the best option to book medicals with IOM? Several mails were sent within the week with no response from them. The phone lines are also not connecting. Please, kindly assist.

Hello fam,

Please, my friend applied for an NHS Job and was shortlisted for interview. After the interview, she was told that they will get back to her the following week with the outcome. However, they didn't send a mail on the feedback to indicate whether she has been given an offer or not. After another 1 week, she sent a mail to the interviewer lead and got a reply that they are checking references that they will update her on the progress. Still, nothing was said about an offer.

Please, for those who are experienced in this, does the email they sent saying they are checking references indicate they will make an unconditional offer?

Your kind thoughts please.

Thank you for the response.
I need ur kind advice on this: I have gotten a positive assessment from ACS for computer Network and Systems Engineer, with the look of things I think I can only get 60 points (age:30pts + Experience 5 pts + qualifications 15pts + language 10pts) just like u mentioned, but I noticed that peeps that were granted PR recently got 65pts for the same occupation "computer Network and Systems Engineer". My questions now is should I apply for state nomination so that I can get 65pts or I should lodge my EOi with my 60 points?
