IMHO I actually expect a lot more than one senator on Nairaland as the site has almost 145,000 members.

I think there is more to be done to make the thing fly (if it s safe to do so) ,
the young man was just having fun, perhaps making helicopters was one of his
childhood fantansies. Who never had one.

If you have the funds, there are lots of companies with do it yourself kits and
all manners of flying contraptions. Microlites, gyrocopters, helicopters etc are just
some of them. You buy the kit and put it together youself. If this young man has
what it takes, he should join an aeronautical school and do it properly.

I wonder if he has found a lover yet? The thread gave me good laugh.

How are we sure it was not even the man's turn to go and meet his maker for judgment. The woman should just accept and go,
its a pity we dont have suicide bombers yet in this country. I know some good targets.

With such threats, they have wiped off the little sympathy I had for their cause. They will lose support on such wild threats and if its carried out will lead to a major backlash and mayhem. Mend or whoever makes the threats or put ideas into their heads should carefully think it through. Lagos should be the last place they venture into.
