Hello @ozonechrome
I’m a single mom, and in the migration process.
Please i would like to ask some questions, if you will so kind as to spare time for me in your dm. Thanks

ozonechrome:
True!
She enjoys going to school as she meets children to play with.

@Bellong the Centrelink issue actually has nothing to do with the govt.

Just personal issues.

@justwise,
Except there’s more gist or deleted discussions, nothing suggested moving a thread out of here. Infact the more i thought of it, the more it makes sense to have something like that of the Indians specifically for skilled migration, instead of us going to their websites for ‘sorted’ info. Think about it, it will work well for NL, cos the traffic gets generated here first, if you are open to it. Also, know that Nobody holds the monopoly to ideas, esp in this age.

And the way this matter has been handled may actually drive the traffic outta here, if the people who are major contributors are banned, reason this thing well o. Na the people wey dey generate the traffic you dey ban so o.

.

justwise:
So you think i'm doing all these because of what? Do i make a penny from nairaland? How will taking traffic away from nairaland help this forum? Do you know how websites attract advertisement?

Visa and info can be sourced if somebody is willing to keep track and update it then re-post it as the thread moves from page to page. This is what members in Canadian student visa thread are doing and in US visa thread they achieved all interview transcripts posts and update it then the link will be available in first page.

If you are Seun will you be happy to have a thread here moved to another forum?

@justwise, for realhuh
Kai!!
You are just impossible.....wey we dey hail say you don handle the matter wella comot am from the thread so that the thread can move on?
Wetin?
See, from what you mentioned on the thread, visa cannot be tracked on nairaland. Info cannot be sourced if you don’t start from page 1 or ask questions again...i suffered that here and i can tell you i easily found resources on expatforum, pomsinoz and the rest. What’s bad if such is proposed, except you feel its a personal attack on NL. It doesn’t reduce the relevance of NL. It won’t.
Haba, guy.
Let this rest.
AdvertsRe: Response To Ad by akari01: 9:11am On Jul 06, 2019
@justwise,
We have read from both sides.
We have noted errors from both sides.
Can we end this amicably?
As you can see, the thread is moving on with people already giving guidance to questions asked, so we know the thread will survive with or without @bellong.
Why not reinstate his access to the group, if he so wishes to still contribute? People who are just joining the train will gain from his experience and knowledge, not as a stand-alone “know-all” as you had opined, but as a contributor just like everyone else.
And thank you for posting decently on here; i appreciate that its devoid of insults.
Thank you also for doing your bit as moderator and upholding the rules. Please look at the rules again and plug the loopholes too.
TravelRe: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by akari01: 10:45am On Jul 04, 2019
I am such a stickler for rules that when I heard about this ish, it seemed the most logical thing was for the ad poster to delete it and things go back to normal. But you went about it in a high handed manner. Mr justwise, you didn’t let that happen before the ban. And your error was duly pointed out by Bnimz. But you were still high handed about it.
Generalising and collectively insulting everyone’s capability to assimilate and interprete information is uncalled for, and i dare say, not in your place to do so.
You are a moderator, not God of clarity and clear thinking, obviously!! I mean, how is it your intellectual business if i do not know how to interpret Australian immigration rules? As in, what is it exactly that makes you feel you can collectively rubbish people’s efforts and appeal to you?
It is rather unbecoming and uncouth.

Do better!
Be better!
Not for your sake, but for posterity.

justwise:
So you are telling me that everyone here is waiting for bellong to read and interpret the new Australian immigration rule?

That no single one of you have the ability to read and understand Australian immigration rules?

That this thread will not move on without him?

If Yes is the answer to those questions then this thread has no purpose.

Guys writing Skill Test in Uyo, are you done?
How was it?
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2018 Exxonmobil Recruitment For Engineers (Experienced And Graduate Trainees) by akari01: 11:56am On Jan 23, 2019
Yes, experienced hire to have test on 26th.

oyindrops:
Please I also need the Dragnet Verbal, Quant, logical reasoning and every other section question and answer. Here's my email

oyindrops@yahoo.com

I think those that have received test dates are those that applied for experienced hire not graduate trainee. So hopefully by God's grace we will get ours soon enough.

With your age, education, English lang. test and work experience (optional), you can give it a shot.
You may need to read the thread from page 1 to get the hang of it.

Choose any test centre of your choice.
Pay for the test to confirm schedule.
Take the test on test day.

TravelRe: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by akari01: 11:41am On Dec 12, 2018
BKings,

Reference letter is highly important. Yes, they do take the format seriously. They would always make reference to Page 28 of the MSA Booklet.
Interestingly, Page 28 has 2 options of documents required. You either have Reference letter with all their requirements included (Option A) or you have Reference letter with exact period of employment and endorsed along with your employment letter which would contain other requirements (Option B) Please be guided by these.

BKings:
Dear Atari, how about reference letter? Though bellong has told me before that it's important but from EA point of view, do they take the format so serious, like employer listing all my JDs on the reference letter? I'm asking because of the nature of the coy I'm working with. My HRM wouldn't have such time. Anything more than "Mr Bkings is an employee of XYZ organisation..bla..bla..bla...pls according him the necessary attention" might be like asking for too much. Again, I have just 5 years experience on the same job role but on different coys. Company A has gone under and no reference letter, what would I do?

Congrats.

ChinnyBonn:
Hello everyone!

I really appreciate the great deal on info on this thread. Thanks to all that are making it happen.

I have been invited to apply for 190 visa following NSW nomination so I need a document checklist for 190 application because I don’t want to miss out on any documentation required. If anyone can point me to such, I would really appreciate that.

Also for the Health check / examination, would it be done at IOM, Ikeja or is there another place? And how much would it cost for a family of 4 (i.e. couple with 2 kids)?

Every little info helps. Looking forward to your responses, please. Thanks!

Hello,
From my xp with EA, I'll advise you get tax certificate for all those employment period. EA takes only tax & pension evidences serious. Don't bother about payslips and bank statements with them.

korlahwarleh:
Good morning house. Please I have a question.
I did my EA assessment early this year. I had just clocked over 2 years of post-graduation experience, so I did not assess my experience. In fact, my experience will be 3 years exactly on December 1st and I plan to update my EOI as accordingly.
The issue is, the first 2 jobs that I did, immediately after school and as an engineering Intern where I currently work, I was paid in cash. I only have my employment verification and letter of employment for them. No bank payslips and no tax certificate. Can I go and get tax certificate for the said period?
And will these be enough as evidences?

Hello flyca,
i've got the IRS now. moving inch by inch

flyca:
We are in the same stage. Mine has given 25th Nov. And I'm sorting it now. Let's chat in private if you don't mind.
TravelRe: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by akari01: 4:24pm On Nov 01, 2018
Hello,
I sent a mail. Pls revert.

omo1010:
Thank u so much. I will do that immediately. They actually gave 30th Nov. but I believe the earlier the better.

One more thing. I discovered that company's name didn't appear on the tax clearance I collected form IRS Lagos, only my name, though the reference number is there. Hope that shouldn't be an issue?

Thank you
