Nigeria coach Stephan Keshi said on Thursday he is uncertain about his future with his country's national team as he hasn't yet renewed his contract with the Nigerian football association (NFA).

Keshi's contract expired after the end of the World Cup where the Super Eagles were eliminated from the round of 16 and he reached an agreement with the (NFA) to take charge of the team during their first two games in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers – but Nigeria's poor results in the two games made his fate with the Super Eagles uncertain.

A 28-year-old man, Raphael Effiong, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly killing his lover, Gift Sunday, in a hotel because she refused to marry him.


Gift, 26, who lived on Fadiya Street, Ketu, Lagos, was a fashion designer, Effiong, an indigene of Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State, was working as a driver in a telecommunications company in Lagos.

According to the victim's relatives, Gift had met Effiong sometime last year, and the duo had been having an affair since then.

This evening in Choba,UNIPORT, the anti bomb squad put everyone (including vehicles)on hold, detecting a bomb thrown by a suspected boko haram member.

According to eye witness, an hausa man suspected to be Boko Haram threw something on the road that is under construction in Choba, and ran away. The news got to the anti bomb squad and they came at exactly 5:30pm today to detect if its actually a bomb that was thrown. Oh well, I was going to church when I meant them and took some photos pictured above.

Will bring you update on this tomorrow hopefully.
