You are welcome. Consistency is very key with anything partaining immigration. I will suggest you stick with the same story. johnsmith866: Thanks for your response. I plan to reapply in about 3 to 4 months after i may have built up my personal account further. Will it be a red flag if i say i have family or a friend in the UK with the new application after I had filled in no for both of them in my previous application. Thanks |

@imperialebony Thanks really appreciate the feedback bro. imperialebony: @ akeenade, yes bro. If you hold schenghen Multiple visa, USA Multiple entry Visa, UK Multiple Visa, you're automatically eligible for what is called Visa On Arrival in Turkey. However you would need to meet certain conditions which isn't hard . You don't need to queue in abuja for a Turkish visa. Upon your arrival in Istanbul, they will issue you a visa on arrival. The Class 'C' entry visa on your passport is a plus... please visit their web page http://abuja.emb.mfa.gov.tr for details |

"HOW TO MAKE 150M NGN IN 34YRS IN USALagosNIV: Don't get me wrong, I can't take this seriously either. I think a lot of people looking to get to the US and stay illegally though have a misguided notion that the streets are paved with gold and that money flows freely.
Let's say you go to Washington, D.C. and are working two full time jobs. If you are there illegally, maybe you will get the minimum wage. Let's assume you do at $8 USD per hour. That puts you at about $34,000 USD per year, not accounting for the fact that it's unlikely that you will actually be working full time at two different jobs and that any days you aren't working you aren't getting paid.
But now you have to pay rent, easily $800 USD a month for a studio the size of a closet in that area. Now you only have $24,400 per year. Let's assume you purchase the bare minimum in groceries to keep costs down... another $10,000 USD that year?
Awesome. You have saved $14,000. That's only 2.8 million naira at the Central Bank exchange rate, or 4.4 million at the parallel market rate. If you lived like this for 34 years, you would almost achieve your goal of 150 million naira. |

Well it was a problem. And from the refusal letter, the only problem. Whoever told you a negative bank balance wasn't going to affect you was clearly wrong. There are two possible solutions from where I see it. You can reapply as sponsoring yourself if you have the right documentation and sufficient funds or reapply with the company sponsoring you again and provide a positive bank statement. I stand to be corrected though, but from your letter the only problem is the negative company bank balance. johnsmith866: Hello guys, I was denied a visitor’s visa to the UK this week. I stated that I was being sponsored by my company for a 10-day holiday. The bank statement provided by the company had a negative balance of about 50 million naira but I was told it wasn’t going to be a problem and that it appeared that way because of a bank guarantee or something of sorts. I had about 500,000 naira in my personal account. I have included an abridged version of the refusal letter. Please I need advice and possible suggestions on the next best steps to take. Thanks |

Please clarify? You mean with a Uk multiple visa I don't require a turkish visa? How is that practicable? I got a multiple entry visa (class C) today and wouldn't mind to make the most of it. imperialebony: you're most welcome! Enjoy your stay in Istanbul. Amazingly, with the uk multiple entry visa on your passport, you don't need to queue for a Turkish visa in abuja. They'll simply give you a visa on arrival at the airport, hope you know this. Please prepare for the appropriate visa fees upon arrival in atatuk airport. Cheers! |

The site says payment is online by creditcard. or am I missing something? salsera: The option yo pay for priority is done at tls office when you go to submit.
As soon as you get in and are directed to where you submit an official of tls would yell you about priority service. |

Thanks for the reply sir. I am about to pay for the visa fee but there is no priority option just standard, student, premium lounge and primetime. Is the primetime the same as priority? Or do I pay for Priority separately on tls site? justwise: 1. No, not included.
2. Every single applicant has to present his/her application and pay all the fees involved individually
3. No timeframe |

1. Hello house, kindly advice if the priority process of 150 pounds is inclusive of visa fee? why is it in pounds as against the standard 128 dollars for regular processing?
2. If applying as a group, do I need to make copies for all members of the group or 1 single set of documentation is sufficient?
3. Is there really a timeframe to wait before reapplying? we were refused based on wrong visa selection. |

Ekicedar: Hello Hartson,
I cant find my occupation among d short and long term occupation need but its in the general skilled migrant category. What will I do?
Skilled Migrant Category Points Indicator then click on calculate at the end of the form.Your score range will be displayed The goal is to get at least 140 points cumulatively. I am certain other factors can boost this points, remember: "The objective of the Skilled Migrant Category is to provide for the grant of a resident visa to people who demonstrate that they: - have skills to fill identified needs and opportunities in New Zealand; and - are able to transfer those skills to New Zealand and link with local needs and opportunities; and - are able to demonstrate an ability to contribute to New Zealand both economically and socially; and - are able to demonstrate an ability to successfully settle in New Zealand. There are so many other factors to be considered. |

As a newbiee to all this I am relying on the expertise of the house to make my decision. I don't really know which is better of the two. But personally I am looking for the most direct and straightforward of the two, easier to settle environment and lower costs of living. In general, they offer almost similar high standards of living. TempusQ: I must be frank with you, if you haven't made up your mind on Australia yet. You might also get distracted again when you only want to know the periphery of the process. The truth of the matter is, the process is quite straight forward once you can follow them with the intention of getting your PR, not just knowing them.
Check these links to know more about your assessing body and their processes.

Alternatively, check @Jorgan's post above to see if you can get the necessary guidelines you need for NZ, through his contact. If your mind is still on NZ. |

I only assumed NZ would be easier. I was considering Australia too both I was distracted(misled) by an article I read. I haven't made up my mind hence my decision to ask the house. Thanks for the suggestion. So what do I require and how do I even begin? I really appreciate the assistance. TempusQ: If I may ask sir, why New Zealand? When you Qualify for Australia. Your occupation is in CSOL as Procurement Manager and/or Supply & Distribution Manager... And I'm sure of two (2) states that can nominate you.
If you change your mind feel free to ask your questions here. We're of similar profession, I know a little when it comes to it's processes.
Good luck in your quest... |

Really appreciate the feedback. I simply just assumed NZ would be easier than Australia. Thanks for the advice and clarification. Should begin reading through to get clarity. Thanks again chimaXYZ: @hartson,
I think you can look at Aussie which gives you automatic PR status in New Zealand too once you become a PR in Australia. But the reverse is not the case. And I think that if you qualify for NZ, then you most probably would qualify for Aussie(I stand corrected though).
For Aussie, check the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) @ https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Work/Work/Skills-assessment-and-assessing-authorities/skilled-occupations-lists/SOL
That would be for Independent Skilled Migration.
If your occupation is not on that list, then could check the various states for their respective lists and purse sponsorship from one of them.
Victoria is a brilliant location. And I think they are pretty straightforward.
http://www.liveinvictoria.vic.gov.au/visas-and-immigrating/occupation-lists/state-nomination-occupation-list-for-victoria#.VuHSW_mLSM8
I honestly think that the Aussie migration process is much more straightforward and better streamlined than that of Canada.
Please read the article below. (DIGITAL TALENT - Road to 2020 and Beyond)
http://www.ictc-ctic.ca/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/ICTC_DigitalTalent2020_ENGLISH_FINAL_March2016.pdf
On page 44 (Promising practice — Expediting the migration process for in-demand occupations in Australia), you will notice that "the labour force participation rate for primary skilled migrants was 95.6% compared with the national average 64.8%." And that goes to buttress the point that immigrants do "much better" in the labour market in Aussie as compared to Canada. I say this bearing in mind that a lot of varied metrics come together and that it could be a wild generalisation. But the statistics are Aussies favour anyway!
My point is that Aussie is a very good alternative if not better depending on "where you stand" of course.
Cheers! |
