Hello House, I have been reading the comments and need to appreciate all the good work you guys are doing.
Please I am considering relocating to New Zealand, my wife and I both have first degrees in management and about 7 years working experience each. we have two kids (3 & 1+). I would really appreciate the best and fastest route to immigrating. The major reason for leaving is for our kids and obviously the better conditions of living. Even though I earn about 300k monthly, I don't see it providing a decent future for my wife and kids.
I have recognizable professional certificates in CIPS and APICS. I have been a supply chain professional (Procurement & expediting) for over 7 years. I am 32 while my wife is 29. Please I would appreciate any assistance the guru's can provide. |

Apparently it actually means no decision has been made yet. Also meaning @worry359 was somewhat correct. Dear ******, Thank you for contacting the UK Visas and Immigration International Enquiry Service. We understand that you would like to know about the current status of your visa application. I have tracked the status (GWF******** and date of birth 2*/0*/19**) and found it is yet to be assessed by an Entry Clearance Officer (ECO). Your visa application centre or the entry clearance officer (ECO) will contact you once a decision has been made or, if necessary, during the consideration of your application. abnot: It's not the standard email. From the content it can be deduced that there'll be a delay in processing which means it may take more than 15 working days to process |

Thanks for the reply. I never considered my wife as principal applicant. It makes so much sense. Thanks for the wisdom on this platform. you guys rock. JesusDWay: If it's better life you want, you can consider it but, better life over there does not translate to having more money which is what affords better life in Nigeria. If you consider that your children will go to school for free till they enter University, no worry about where your next meal will come from, possibly less hassles from family members asking for money and some other things, you might wanna switch. You will have to write IELTS and evaluate your qualifications with WES to determine it's Canadian equivalent before you can apply and, your wife should be better as the Principal Applicant cuz of age. Your professional certifications, if international in nature, will only be of benefit when you get there except for ACCA that may help you score more points for the immigration process |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NERC Recruitment: What's the update? by akeenade: 10:56pm On Jan 11, 2015 |
As of last week, there were no New updates. The last interview was conducted by Restral and the shortlisted candidates for the NERC interview have not yet been contacted. Most sources point that the whole process will be concluded before end of this month (Not verified). Let's all keep our fingers crossed and prayers hot |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NERC Recruitment: What's the update? by akeenade: 12:16pm On Nov 07, 2014 |
dano123: bros, we need to pray hard for dis process to be concluded. The zonal candidates had their interview with restral in october 2013 and NERC interview in may, 2014. I doubt if restral can submit d list of succesful candidates before December and subsequent interview be call and concluded that same month. It is well and shall ever be well. Well, I got some possible great indications that the suggested time frame conclusion may actually be accurate. Also, it most likely will be concluded before the general elections. May it be so o. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NERC Recruitment: What's the update? by akeenade: 3:26pm On Nov 06, 2014 |
naanamee: @ furrylow, I believe you are correct, I also got that info when I wanted to fill d candidate information sheet 4 d interview, didn't wanna do that blindly.. quote too less as Expected remuneration, it's a wahala, quote too high is anoda wahala.. On another note to share with the House, some1 high up there in NERC was credited with d statement that this whole recruitment exercise will be concluded by December 2014, that atleast that's their target depending on completion of their permanent head office and that, that's what's holding up the release of d zonal recruitment, they want them released together, so pls is there anyone to confirm/corroborate this info? The interviews are running into mid November and some even as far as late November, remember that Restral is only just short listing (Re feral) candidates they assume will be qualified for the jobs. I believe NERC will be responsible for the final selection. If my view point is accurate, then a December conclusion seems unlikely. Also, government usually takes it time with things like this. all other Federal Parastatals and Commissions equally take almost a year or more to conclude recruitment exercises. I am also speculating the fort coming general elections may possibly stall this process a bit. Am not certain about any of the arguments I have suggested but my thoughts only. Please any confirmation that they will conclude by December? |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NERC Recruitment: What's the update? by akeenade: 8:35am On Oct 17, 2014 |
kunleezra: So there are still going to be another interview by NERC,Why RESTRAL is wasting our time Yes to your question. RESTRAL is only shortlisting potential candidates. NERC will do the final selection. The time of contact should be a lot faster than when you wrote the exam, so keep praying and waiting. It is well. Good luck to all |

Tuktuk: Bros congrats to you ooo! atleast you will have some hope and will be preparing for the next stage. pls wat did you apply for? can you share the questions you can remember ? plus are you in lagos or Abuja? Get a good grasp of the Job role and some general knowledge. Ultimately, your personality will determine how the interview will go so I cant say what will be asked. I know someone that went in and all he was asked about was his personality. That interview was purely behavioral while mine bordered more on competence. All the best. |

Please for all those who have had the interviews kindly share your experience. and who knows how the scores were marked? is there anywhere to check what one scored?
I believe this is an opportunity that will change the lives of many. I pray favor in Jesus name. Please any idea of the salary scale as well? |
