People do not just sleep and get sleep paralysis, the below are the main causes:

lack of sleep
Sleep schedule that changes
Mental conditions such as stress or bipolar disorder
Sleeping on the back
Other sleep problems such as narcolepsy or nighttime leg cramps
Use of certain medications, such as those for ADHD
Substance abuse

Add stress to the mix, I get only when I am stressed. It is not rocket science or spirituality. You have access to Google, stop wallowing in ignorance.

What on earth will I do that will warrant a slap from my son's wife? If she does not like me, I will stay in my house or my husband's house? I don't get into their business. If my brothers wife slapped my mum for something she should not done, I won't call for her head.

Some mothers in law tend to take it too far all because they are your husband's mother. If my mum insulted my husband, I will ask her to go back to her husband's house and I expect my husband to either do the same or control the situation.

There is no excuse for treating a human being like shit. Be it a mother, mother in law, wife, husband etc

She must have had some form of expectation for staying with him for two years. He should have at least told her right then instead of playing her along. If she wanted him, nothing he said would have stopped her.
