The North is strongly united because they are 97% Moslems. But it is very difficult for the south to unite because South is 60% Christians and 40 % Moslems. So the Yoruba Moslems will always unite with their brothers in the North and frustrate any attempt the South is making towards unity. Yoruba Moslems are the stumbling block of the South's unity and their masters in the North will always exploit this to their advantage
