Just mention the schools you sent your GRE Scores to and say 2/3 or 3/4 gave you admission but you need strong reasons on why you chose the school other than your reason below.I wish you best of luck..looking forward to seeing ur visa transcript.

Going for my visa interview on Monday in abuja. My school of first choice admitted me and hence I dint complete applications to other schools. I hope this wont be a turn off to the VO. I have faith that all will go well. but must not lie I am sooo nervous. This thread has been so encouraging. its good to know there are a whole lot of smart nd intelligent Nigerians. There is def hope for our future. Words of encouragement plsssss. plus any advice. Also wanted to know if my transcript copy from WES can suffice for my transcript cos I don't have any from my school.

Bro..Where and when did you go for the interview?I guess the document looks so fake for the VO to have insisted for AP.On the other hand,post your transcript..the document would be scanned to the designated bank for confirmation and u know what that means.start applying to other countries for plan B and I will suggest Germany because is affordable. If you have 2M,you are good to go.

Bros..I know many people who have used same documents and scaled through.The guy is just unlucky,though am not in support of fake document because the risk is too high.

You can choose any school of your choice that aligns with your area of interest..transcripts evaluation will be needed and u are good to go.Ensure you send mail to the graduate school and the dept u want to apply to for details.

My profile. Had a B.Eng in mining with 3.60 cgpa. Had 150v n 150q in gre. Didn't write TEOFL, there was no time. Applied to Missouri u of sci n tech, paid $75 but hit a dead-end as we couldn't agree on Toefl after exchanging some emails. Michigan Tech u, applied for mining ( I could smell it dat dis department has money to throw around in GAs). They waived application fee, waived toefl but I was dropped cos they couldn't get a supervisor for my area of research interest. West Virginia U, petroleum engineering. They insisted I sent official transcript but waived toefl.
I wished i had known this group b4 writing Gre bt then, i barely had 6wks to prepare n i wouldn't hv had time to go thru every material I might hv gotten. The Gre is d ultimate test n am so glad that 3 weeks to ma exam I was in my extremely quiet n relaxing hometown where I was able to focus n not in lagos.
Am really hoping to get a GA cos am not really ready 2 b begging 4 monthly allawee everytime n I really wan flex yankee, life's too short. really wish along d line I could get one awoof money take enter ma dream city... sombori shout las vegas. Like sir mbeenox, am really hoping on west virginia cos ma undergraduate project is related 2 d shale tin which every member of their faculty is working on but GA is d biggest decider.
Thank God 4 sparing our lives.

I feel your pain man..you must be a graduate from FUTA and sending an official transcript cost 10K..You should have changed your research area for Michigan..you can always transfer when you get to the states..Having a GAs makes life easier in USA..finished from FUTA too...got admission in SDSM&T but no assistantship.I will check out those schools you mentioned.

The 120 days rule applies to him the day he went for the interview and the resumption date.people have started going for interview for fall 2015..The Race has already begun

Am surprised your school resume by 13th August and you have already gone for the interview and have your visa in possession.it means 120 days rule doesn't affect you.slimmy05, dis ur Ghanaian friend needs screening.

I know they have 3 deadlines, March 15th, May 31st and July 15th if i can clearly remember. i applied in febuary inorder to be called for the ist interview which should be right about this period. As one stands a better chance if one applies before march. This is for petroleum engineering, i dont know if its the same for mining engineering.

I got a master admission in US for fall semester which I will be going for embassy interview hopefully July..so I am abt to apply to a school in Germany for plan B resumption is October. I pray everything works out well,but in case I didn't get US visa and Germany gives me Visa..is it possible to transfer the admission to US?less assume I reapply to US and I am being given visa for spring semester.Also,what will happen to my 2m deposit account in Germany?hope I can still have access to it..Please I need advice on this plan...pls dnt insult me oh..no be my fault.just wants to have a safe landing.

I wonder why some people are saying the story is not true.I have had a similar experience with a lady that we both agreed we are friends yet to be dating and each time I visited her would be the time she might want to take her bath and she will come out of the bathroom naked. she will only use a short towel to cover the front on many occasions and I didn't deem it fit to think of doing anything contrarily.so my guy..be yourself.

I was released from my project because I decided not to work on saturday and sunday, no entittlement for the overtime..I have lost interest on the job because of the pay..The pay is hundred of thousands anyways but I Just got tired..Someone could actually join another project, that is if there is space on another project,hence(no project,no salary)..you will sit at home till you are called back to support another project..Two days after the release,I got an offer outside the country,10times of my former pay..I give glory to God..#GodWins#.

Even if you do this and get a visa. I won't advice my worst enemy to come to the states without a way of solving his finances. It's a life you don't want for yourself trust me. Tomorrow one uncle will start to talk rubbish and risks jeopardizing your education. So if you know you can't afford your tuition and associated expenses. My guy stay back and plan well. A word is enough for the wise.

I am still expecting some funds from the school, though it might be after ist semester..I am thinking of using my uncle's account to apply for the VISA and defer the admission if possible till the fund is given..Please does dat sound as a good idea.I will appreaciate any possible schools offering mining engineering at the master level with funds.
