My advice to you is, dont let one person have this much control over your life! Dont let her destroy you. What point are you making by sleeping around? What point are you trying to prove? The only thing you will accomplish by sleeping around is unwanted pregnancies and AIDS or other forms of STDs. Be very careful.
Do not put people in the same category. Just because ONE person broke your heart does not mean you should not give others a chance. How would you feel out of proving a point, that your ex is happily married with 2.5 kids, a dog and a white picket fence sleeping peacefully at night? While you are here suffering on your sick bed hating her and dying of AIDS?
Do not let anyone control you. You have control over your own destiny. You CAN stop. BUT, you have to really WANT to.

Why is your wife so set in stone about not wanting to adopt or even wanting her own child to come and visit her? I dont understand. You need to ask her about her reservations.

Answer this before I can advise you. How involved are you with raising your 18 month old? Do you help her around the house or do you expect her to be super woman? Work cook clean take care of kids all this with no help and expect her to look like a model 24/7? I am not accusing you, just asking you.

Jennykadry, I disagree with you. Yes you can cancel the wedding and explain why. I am sure people are reasonable enough to understand. The wedding can still go on later on that day or whenever. But not when my husband just lost someone dear to him whether it be his friend or his mother. Sometimes my dear, you have to think past YOURSELF for once. Last I checked it was THEIR wedding day. Not just hers.

Poster, he should not have slapped you. I blame him for that. But at the same time, reading your post, my dear you are quite insensitve and selfish. You could have called off the wedding ceremony for now. And planned it at a later date, giving your husband time to heal emotionally. Because while you were pushing him to go on with the ceremony, he was an emotional wreck. I am sure he reacted the way he did because he felt completely alone. And the one person that should have been by his side and had his back, YOU his wife. Turned her back on him in his time of need and only thought of herself. I completely blame you there for your insensitivity.

Now, I dont believe that you lost love for him. However, I do beleive that you lost respect for him. Which is understandable. Because the man laid his hands on you. Unacceptable.

I think you all need to calm down, take a breather and have a heart to heart discussion. Because being angry at one another like this is not healthy for anyone one. Especially you, as you are pregnant.

Please next time be more considerate of other peoples feelings. It just makes you look like a monster when you behave that way.

I am not Nigerian but I really dont understand how these doctors can have the audacity to tell the MAN about his womans reproductive health and not bother to tell the woman whose body it concerns. And what the hell is wrong with this man? Not telling her about her reproductive health? These people are animals.
