He had a personnal vandatta against Ribadu because the Former EFCC Chairman told him he was not competent to be President. Aoandoakaa was the most corrupt Justice Minister since 1999. He disrespected court orders and vagrantly applied the law of the land. It wasn't a secret between 2007 and 2009 that many lawyers in Nigeria were looking for Aoandoakaa's head to slice it.

I am personally against the fact that Ribadu was promoted to lead his superiors in police force. Obasanjo set a bad precedent when he gave Ribadu double promotion which clearly showed how irritated the leading police officers were at the time. Okiro was a good friend of Tafa Balogun and Ribadu was once a junior officer to Tafa at the Lagos Police Command. Ribadu humiliated Tafa Balogun in a very big way. Okiro was out to humiliate Ribadu at all cost. It wasn't a secret that the power that be were out for blood. They wanted to get Ribadu at all cost. Okiro and few others, with the help of Yar'Adua clearly plan to harass and humiliate Ribadu for all he did during Obsanjo's tenure. Ribadu stepped on many toes. He clearly didn't want Yar'Adua as president because he did not believe in Yar'Adua.

On Ribadu, he should have humbled himself. He should have carried his superiors along. He failed to carry them along and respect them which resulted into bad blood between Ribadu and senior officers of the police force.

I bet you Ribadu will achieve nothing if he carried those superiors along because most of them are stooges planted to cover the tracks of their boss at one time or the other.
