This is a very touchy and sketchy issue, One will argue for human rights and the other will argue from right and wrong, It is not a Nigerian trait, but i am not naive and i know it happens, it happens in business, it happens in politics. Yet is actually truly is wrong and should not be condoned, but it is because so many have found there way into high circles in the west, they have pushed thier agenda WELL WELL! therefore, it will hard to escape it. God will prevail among the mind of the pure, Think Africa Press always provides a weekly analysis of Nigerian news, its a good read http://thinkafricapress.com/nigeria/blog/week-nigeria-oil-subsidy-beneficiaries-revealed http://thinkafricapress.com/nigeria/blog/week-nigeria-oil-subsidy-beneficiaries-revealed |

Let the great man go home and rest!! The people of those countries will not appreciate or even know him in modern times. It would be a wasted a futile exercise with the sole objective of making MONEY!! This article pays respect to his life & times : www.thinkafricapress.com/nigeria/ojukwu-dies www.thinkafricapress.com/nigeria/ojukwu-dies THE GREAT MAN IS NO MORE! |

I think this move is LONG overdue. I have just read this article which sheds some much needed light on her inability to achieve anything tangible:: http://thinkafricapress.com/nigeria/blog/overdue-surprise-efcc-sacked-waziri http://thinkafricapress.com/nigeria/blog/overdue-surprise-efcc-sacked-waziri |

Personally, I think there are much better looking women in Nigeria!!! how do they sort out the applications, ?? none of the pictures above would do Nigeria proud in international competitions. We must look forward, not backwards, |

I think these are just frivolous allegations meant to discredit this hardworking and forthright lady, http://thinkafricapress.com/nigeria/blog/achebe-snub-government http://www.facebook.com/thinkafricapress?ref=ts |

This is very good indeed, It is about time that we regain some forms of respect. I saw the story in a weekly column.:http://thinkafricapress.com/nigeria/blog/achebe-snub-government http://www.facebook.com/thinkafricapress |

Finally!!! Now order will prevail, do you think she was the right choice?? Only time will tell with such things, I just stumbled upon an article by Nasir El Rufai, http://thinkafricapress.com/nigeria/fixing-nigerias-agriculture That guy is the new prophet of doom!! Let me know what you think, ?? |

This is not a good move on the part of the federal government, I know many who are undergoing their youth service and they are learning the ropes at many of our premier institutions as a form of work experience. This experience gained will help in all future endevours. Nigerians need to gain such training and if lack of money is the problem, he should lobby to increase his budget. I also came across this article by Nasir El-Rufai about agriculture in Nigeria, http://thinkafricapress.com/nigeria/fixing-nigerias-agriculture Let me know what you think ![]() |

According to the ECN [ Energy Commission of Nigeria ] Nigeria's energy demand will be 28,000-31,000mw by 2015 (link). Nigeria is currently producing around 4000MW. Unless GEJ Puts Energy as his number priority and devoted 60% of the budget each year for energy and actually starts the construction of of each power station tomorrow with out and corruption, that will be the only way he can keep to his word. Such things do not come about overnight. How about you increase your faith alongside the hope to increase our energy. Jonathan is all we have for now and he is slowly assembling a team of technocrats in which we can all be proud of. Nigerians are fond of wanting next day solutions whereas such issues of power will take years for us to see the true benefits as you have stated. BE PATIENT AND REMAIN HOPEFUL. those are our only options. |

Not only Okotie, our president also wrote one. Nigerians are fond of using god to make all things plausible and correct, yet a true lover of the union we call Nigeria must know the truth about such things. I cant claim to be in the corridor of power & sadly all i have to base my assumptions on are the scewed facts of history and newspaper evidence. dele giwa, the annulment, $13.5 billion vanished, the Nigerian economy in tatters. can you please mention what good IBB did during his time in power? It does seem that the majority of Nigerians use IBB as a scapegoat for the helpless situation our country currently finds itself in. Yet, a dark shadow of misdeeds will follow him till the end. & this will always be the case. |

IBB is a culprit of so many atrocities and crimes yet is still hailed as a king by many. The SAP's in the eraly 90's ruined the Nigerian economy, the billions in which he has stashed and the lives he has taken are unaccounted for , yet a so called pastor wants to write him poems, So be it, |

Sadly, Nigeria is still a while away. We night a holistic reform of many sectors. If Aganga & Ngozi can work hand in hand then I have faith that in 4 years now, Nigeria will attain stability and marginal growth in which will set is in the right stead for real developmental to take place. It starts from above. I have trust and faith in them to pull the country out of the rut we currently find ourselves in. |

nepotism and favoritism is a common trait in Nigerian politics! we have to cross this river as soon as possible in order for the best hands to grab the helm of affairs. But on a second thought, It is always common practice to appoint those close to you as advisers. It is not only in Nigeria. Would you not do the same? |

This topic is one meant to just arouse conversation of a silly nature! what do you mean 'where are teenagers oblivious to politics?' such is the state of the teenage awareness of politics, that it is not only one of the most oversubscribed courses at university, there is now more participation from the youths than ever before. The political discourse is growing, not only in Nigeria. But all over the world! Please do not belittle the intelligence and participation of the leaders of tomorrow! |
