My wife was in labour room in pains for 2days in a govt hospital and when they discovered within themselves that she may not make it, i was asked to take her to FMC which is like 80km to d hospital. They actually knew that she had twins and they keep on asking her to push!!! To God glory, she was taken to a private hospital in the same town. When the doctor saw her he said she must pass through CS which he did with other invited med doc in less than 20mints. Thank God my twin two boys will be 2yrs this month. CS is good. Dont mind those gramatical errors, at least i pass d info.

I work with Federal government as an officer and at the same time am about to write my final year exam in a university.
I am thinking of putting down my real age so that i will be exempted from NYSC.
Please my fellow nairalanders, hope exemptn letter will be ok for me in relation to my current job status? And what is the different between NYSC exemption letter by age and discharge certificate

Healing Wings, a Pentecostal Christian
fellowship, Dr. Femi Aribisala, in this interview with GBENRO ADEOYE, insists that Bible’s David did not kill Goliath.
In one of your write-ups, you described pastors who collect tithes as thieves.

Are you saying that tithing is not biblical?

There are so many things that are “biblical”
but have nothing to do with the kingdom
of God. The kingdom of God is about God
and his sons. The son of a king does not
pay taxes to the king, his father. Sons of
God don’t tithe. Tithe means giving ten per
cent of your income to God. However,
everything that sons of God have belongs to
God. So tithing cannot apply to us.
The tithing currently instituted in churches
is all 419. Money is not acceptable as tithe
in the scriptures. And yet, our thieving
pastors today only accept money. Tithes
were only paid by landowners in the
scriptures, but our thieving pastors collect
tithes from everybody. Tithes were only
collected by Levites, but thieving pastors,
who are neither Jewish nor Levites, are
now the ones collecting them. Tithes were
meant for the poor, the widows and
strangers in the scriptures, but our thieving
pastors now use them to build their
empires. They use them to build cathedrals;
buy jets; establish schools and banks etc.
Those pastors who collect tithes today are
nothing but thieves and robbers, according
to Jesus’ categorisation of bad pastors.

But Malachi 3:10 says it should be done?

Malachi 3:10 does not establish the
principles of tithing. The principles were
established by Moses. Malachi is addressed
to priests; it is not addressed to the
congregation. Malachi is Old Testament.
We are now under a New Testament.
Pastors cannot insist on the one hand that
we are no longer under the law, and then
cherry-pick a convenient aspect of the law
as being still applicable today. If we should
pay tithes today then we should also obey
other aspects of the Mosaic law including
stoning disobedient children and adulterers
to death. Malachi is not our Lord and
Saviour. Jesus is our Lord and Saviour.
Christians should be instructed by Jesus and
not by Malachi or Moses.

God said: "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be meat in mine house and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to recieve it.
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground: neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts" - Malachi 3:10-11. Whao! God said all these, not a man's idea. It isnt like a man's idea of making money. God said it. Bishop Oyedepo isnt the one who put it there, GOD DID. Pastor Chris isnt the one who put it there, GOD DID. Whao! God said "try me, if I will not open the windows of heaven to bless you that there will be no room to contain it. Not just that, He says: after blessing you, He will rebuke devourers for your sake. Whao!!! That is the secret behind "the Kingdom wealth".
Now listen, whether you believe it or not, it doesnt change a thing. Whether you pay tithe or not doesnt affect God's servants. They will still live in stupendous plenty.
Offering and thiting isnt an old testament law, it is God's principle of expanding they that apply it.
"He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much..." - Luke 16:10

The principle to recieving plenty is to be faithful in the little wages, salary, income you earn. Notice, He didnt say "generous". He said "Faithful". That means, You arnt doing God a favour, You are giving Him what is His. Giving Him what is His is what gives you what is yours in Christ

Many of u people are fools, when u start a buz wt 250k in nig 2day,how long are u .going 2 make, no1, remove shop rent 4rm it and some other logistic, it wil remain less than 130k.
Geting a job guarantee ur future after retirement and also not everyone is good in doing buz.

Nigeria Security and Civil
Defense Corps, NSCDC, has
finally replaced Mr. Obafaiye
Shem, the man who postulated
the “my oga at the top”
mantra, as commandant of
Lagos State Command. He was
replaced by Mr. Adesuyi Clement
from Oyo State Command.
The Commandant General of
NSCDC, Dr. Olu Abolurin, who was
in Lagos at the weekend over
the alleged killing of two of his
officers by some policemen,
introduced the new
Commandant to journalists.
But Abolurin did not give
reasons for Obafaye’s removal .
Sources however hinted that
the development might not be
unconnected with his recent
interview on Channels Television
live programme.
Before now, authorities of
NSCDC have denied taking any
disciplinary action against Mr.
Shem over the said interview.
Their reaction followed claims
that Shem had been sacked on
the orders of the Minister of
Interior, who supervises the
NSCDC.
Shem’s travail started when he
appeared on Channels Television
morning programme ‘Sunrise’
and when asked the NSCDC
website he said: “Hmmm, the
website is, excuse me, my Oga
at the top knows the website”.
He again, cleared his throat and
said: “My Oga at the top is
working on the website and I
don’t have them”.
When the presenters insisted
that he should give a
functioning website address of
the para-military outfit, he
dropped the bombshell:
“ww.nscdc, that’s all”.
Immediately, the interview went
viral and has become so popular
to the extent that t-shirts
with “my oga at the top”
insignia has been produced and
selling like hot cake across the
country, even as some DJs and
musicians have done what they
called a remix of the phrase.
Some Nollywood actors and
actresses had even produced
and launched a movie titled, "
My oga at the top."

Sure my able gov. Even in Ekiti state late last year, a young undergraduate was gun down at his resident at ikere btw d hours of 7 and 8pm. D shoter was also on okada that day.
I pray it is also baned in Ekiti state. Most of them are criminals, give them 10k they wil do anything

A very nice decision, all this private organisations are the same, CEO placing his girl friend with ordinary SSCE on graduate and indirectly making her to control the affairs of the office. Due to all this mess, I resigned my appointment from an Audit firm that pays graduate 35k and after 4months i got a Federal job with my unemployed wife.
