Oh, you probably don't know about something called the Teleprompter.

A teleprompter (also known as an autocue) is a display device that prompts the person speaking with an electronic visual text of a speech or script. Using a teleprompter is similar to the practice of using cue cards. The screen is in front of the lens of the camera, and the words on the screen are reflected to the eyes of the speaker using a one-way mirror.

(Note that this is only true in principle — when the space between the lens and the mirror is covered in a shroud, an ordinary glass pane will work as a one way mirror).

As the speaker does not need to look down to consult written notes, he or she appears to have memorized the speech or be speaking spontaneously, and will look directly into the camera lens.

I dont care about the threats. I'm even getting tired of reading these things; especially the ones that come on your 'Superwall' on facebook.

Thing is with e-mail, when you forward it to people you keep getting more and more. If you stop forwarding, they reduce. Thats what I've experienced.

So I read some of them but dont give a hoot about the empty threats. At least I've defied most of them and I'm still hale and hearty.

If and when you reply this thread, you would either click the submit button or use the Alt+s shortcut.

But if you are like me and you use Opera, Alt+s wont work for you. Instead it would bring down your feeds menu.

What are the shortcuts for Nairaland on Opera that work with other brrowsers eg firefox and IE?

Make sue you scan every single thing you download before opening, even audio files.

Limewire is lousy with viruses.

Ares is better with viruses but it is slower and has a smaller database. It also doesnt slow down your computer like lime because it doesnt run with java.

And of course remember that everything, or 99% of what you download is illegal.
