snailspeed:Lol, I never told you it was there in the first instance. Tell that to the media giving the public wrong informations. |
litetias:how come am just seeing this? Pls, give me the link to the site where i lifted it. Maybe you dont know what it means to lift. |
Keneking:Senator Ali Ndume said he has no idea this meeting took place. |
You are doing and saying the bill of your master. Carry go and see your end thereafter. |
Chiefpriest1:Senator Shehu Sani doesn't see eye to eye with El Rufai. Both have personal grudges for each other simply because of selfish reasons. Extrimist will be anyone who opposes this bill all in the name of politics. |
snailspeed:This your comment shows your lack of knowledge on NASS and PRESIDENCY matters. Assembly doesn't have right to remove or add to the budget, rather what they have the right to do is to note irregularies in it and bring to the notice of the executives for proper amendment. How could you remove what you didn't put there? If the budget copy is all over, then try upload one for us here in Nairaland and lets go through together. Your hatred knows no boundary with baseless argument, you saw a president that is working assidously to making sure everything is alright, yet, you can't appreciate instead wailing. Well, I dont blame you, i reprimand the media that are quick to publish false reports without a bit of research. They write on every rumour they hear, wonder what has happened to our investigative journalism. |
Buhari cant in a day solve the enormous problems of this country. Our mistakes are complex, to fix it, we need to be patient, he warned us when he came in last May. To be honest with ourselves, only those who are practising politics of bitterness will criticise this government with their hearts rather than their heads. |
Dalung doesn't know what he's doing. Govt must not intervene in anything football related or else Nigeria is calling for a ban. Put friendship aside, Pinnick has won when FIFA backed him. |
When you live in Nigeria, it's difficult to follow all these rules. I'm guilty even when not charged. |
Business strategies from both sides but one is actually good at it than another. |
Why una dey disgrace Linda Ikeji like this na? Banana kingdom queen. Lol, when money misses road, na yawah remain. |
He is to be paid €40,000. More than double of the money paid to Nigerian coaches. At the end of the day, nothing will still be achieved. I pray the sport minister doesnt subscribe to this plan. |
By Akorede Kameel El-clasico never fails to deliver. Does it? Near misses, a disallowed goal, a red card, a dramatic winner and end of a long unbeaten run. El-clasico always live up to its billing as the world’s greatest club game. And tonight game was right up there with the best of them in terms of drama and other stuff. Real Madrid snatched a late victory after being reduced to 10 men to eventually end Barcelona’s 39-match unbeaten run. Who would have thought about it? And the Gareth Bale’s goal, how on earth was that disallowed? It looks like there is a different set of rules for Spanish League. He did absolutely nothing wrong with that goal. Harsh! What a terrible call by the linesman. There will be a renewed confidence for Real Madrid and that sets up the rest of the season nicely in Spain. La liga should still be Barca’s but Madrid should now have the push in their ability to give a decent run in both the remaining domestic games and the Champions League. Kudos must be given to Zidane, his tactics have been spot on, he actually stuck to the plan throughout the game and he later got his reward for it. I just think he should be able to manage Madrid next season because he has now achieved what the immediate past managers haven’t been able to do. He defeated Barcelona in their backyard with one player less. Karim Benzema got the beautiful equalising goal but he was largely missing in the attack, he didn’t connect well enough with Ronaldo. Pepe must have some answers to give as to why he allowed Pique with that header for Barca’s only goal. Crazy that a left-back can be a team’s attacking catalyst but Marcelo does that so often for his team, his run was key for the goal that brought Madrid back into it. When will Sergio Ramos learn? He’s always a victim of useless red card against Barcelona. The introduction of Jese brought potency to the right flanks but praise must be hauled on Gareth Bale for his performance, he linked well with Cristiano Ronaldo, both enjoyed their game tonight. Don’t know if Ronaldo’s goal will silence his critics who are of the opinion that he has struggled to score in La liga away games in the course of this season. Barcelona must not allow their confidence to be rattled simply because they don’t have enough time to restore it. Atletico Madrid will come visiting in the champions league on Tuesday, and I want to believe they are quite aware of the threat they pose even though Barcelona have got the better part of them in the course of the season. If I were Enrique, I would be asking the players how on earth they allowed Madrid to get back into the game after dominating the large portion of the minutes on the pitch. It must be said that they are anyway still the firm favourite to secure the title despite this result but maybe a kind of a wakeup call to see how the rest of the season will pounce out to be. It will interest you to know that Barcelona’s previous defeat was on 3 October 2015. That is six months ago, and to even think Madrid were ten men down when they scored the winner made it more of an achievement than just a league victory. Where did they get it wrong? I think they didn’t create many chances, the few ones created weren’t converted. Suarez and Neymar didn’t show their normal selves, especially for the man from Uruguay, his finishing and eye for goal were poor tonight. I saw decent runs and plays from Messi, could have even got his 500-goal if not for the brilliance of Navas. After the equaliser for Madrid, the catalans became tired and porous in both midfield and defence. So MSN failed to fire in goals like they have been used to in games this season. Even after Bale’s goal was disallowed, there were signs that Real Madrid could get another before it eventually went in. The last seven domestic games will see them play 4 away and 3 home matches, if all things being equal, Barcelona fans should be celebrating the league title by then. lugiano1:I agree with you there. His line up for this game was very poor. That Aminu was not just there, Moses later turned up. |
By Akorede Kameel I already forsaw and foretold those who follow me here. There's no miracle anywhere, we should expect no manna to fall, Egypt deserve to go through. Nigeria don't have players that can deliver when it matters. We lack quality in the final third, no creativity yet again, our striker was just an onlooker, what I could only see was a late resurgence from Victor Moses and Iwobi. Perhaps, some fans are easily taken away when they see players showing skills or teams dominating possession, if you don't create, you can't have any chance and again, if you don't convert the chance you have created, in the end, it all amount to nothing. I wouldn't blame the goalkeeper for the goal, there were two players blocking his view, the ball was even deflected a bit. Now, it will be wise if NFF allows Samson Siasia to continue, give him the second chance, let's see what he can offer but I advise him to do away with some players who are just there to make up numbers. Foreign coach will promise us heaven and earth but in the end, they will just collect our money and go away, the money that we think it's too much to pay for the local ones. I can't just find any credible foreign coach around now, I submit. Follow me on twitter @iam_akorebami |
You guys, after eating the food, think of how to win in Egypt by all means. |

By Akorede Kameel I think it will be nice to start this by talking about Marcus Rashford. The little boy is gradually cementing his position in the Manchester United line up every game. Not only that, it seems like he likes big games, proving to be a small boy for big occasions. Martin Demichellis was just too poor there, highlighting the weakness in the Manchester City’s defence. And what about Raheem Sterling? He hasn't shown his potential at City. I just wonder what Manuel Pellegrini will be thinking about him, he went out injured in the game but talking about meaningful contribution this whole season, he's no where to be found for his team judging by his huge price tag from Liverpool. Manchester City couldn't just cope with the pace of Rashford and Martial, both gave them real air of menace. Interesting to see how much more fluent United looked in the middle when they are not tied to the tactics of playing through Marouane Fellaini. Juan Mata is a testimony. At the start of the second half, of course, you would expect Manchester City to react after going down with a goal in the last half but for all the domination, their big players didn't turn up into creating any good chance. Bony was sticking with his boots, Aguero and Silva combined well but all to no avail, Yaya Toure was more of attacking with no actual clue, his finishing has been so poor in his recent games. The game plan was put on Silva and Toure to service Aguero with the ball, both managed to create few half chances for him but his effort was not good enough to produce the much needed goal. Defensively, it has been a shamble without Vincent Kompany at the back for most of the integral part of the season and now losing Joe Hart is another big blow. Martin Demichellis put in one of the worst performances have ever seen by a Premier League player. So far so bad for the sky blues. That has been their story so far, a team who at the beginning of the season was said to have been fighting for title now finds itself contending for a top four finish in the league. This is something that Pep Guardiola will not want to see, you can just imagine, a manager of his calibre agreeing to come to a team that will be out of champions league next season. This defeat means City have to be looking nervously over their shoulders. So United coped well with what I can describe as the little threat posed by City in the second half. Chris Smalling was perfect, Carrick wasn't doing badly either, I like the coming in of Schweinsteiger, when it appeared Mata wasn't doing well again and the team needed to defend, the man provided that by helping them both in the middle and at the back. All in all, Manchester United were able to do what Manchester City couldn't do defensively, they put all their bodies in there and won some of the challenges. Now, United move one point behind City, the belief in the team now should be that top four is still very much possible. And if they're able to achieve that, what does that mean for LVG? With rumour of Jose Mourinho coming in every blessed day. Marcus Rashford has become the youngest scorer in the Manchester derby, good for him as he was outstanding and even managed to play on with injury. I'm loving the top four race, at one point this season, LVG said it was a rat race, is it still even now? The remaining games should be interesting to watch for the neutrals. If the person that is told a lie doesnt know then the person telling lies knows. Both Sunday Oliseh and NFF are a joke. |
Lol, those actresses are using style to tell the Ooni of Ife that they are at home for him. Only if you understand. Hahah!! |
The session should be 2015/16 and not otherwise. Dont jump to next year. |
Que serasera, what will be will surely be. Now lets know who has really got the talent. Separation is not the end but beginning of a new life. |
Pinnick, I dont blame you, I blame those who elected you there. You have no clue of how to run football in this country. |
It has got to a point where religious activities in Nigeria has to be regulated but with caution. Something should be done to curtail all these fanatical imams and crime committing pastors. |
I'm a workerholic lol, if there is a word like that, yet i dont know when i will buy a car not to talk of this type. |

By Akorede Kameel @iam_akorebami It's fair to say Manchester United players have themselves to blame because it was quite obvious that in the course of the game they didn't do enough to win and allowed Liverpool to overrun them throughout the match. The second leg is next Thursday, by the way, so not long to wait. Given the last two results and the next three fixtures, I want the ardent Red Devil fans to answer this honest but funny question. When was the last time Manchester United lost five games on the trot? Still wondering? Just read on. West Ham in the FA Cup at home, Liverpool at home (Europa League again) and Manchester City away in the league up next for Louis van Gaal’s side. Well, on a lighter note, you can joke that the only thing LVG has which David Moyes lacks is a note pad that he uses to write during the game but which often times, fans do not feel much effect of it in terms of result. About the game, United were poor and shambolic. There was no intensity in their game, overran and dominated by the Liverpool side, they lacked creativity in the middle, Juan Mata couldn't play the pressing game and Fellaini was simply appalling. Some players make others around them better but the Belgian makes everyone else worse. Changes were made but we saw little or nothing from the sub, United are so much better with younger players, the only person in that side that was quite impressive throughout the game was David De Gea and I hope everyone will agree with me he was the reason why the game ended with two goals for the Kop, he didn't deserve the second goal if not for the terrible defending by Carrick. I think LVG needs to read about the history between United and Liverpool before praising them and their fans about the atmosphere they created in the game. Not too many United fans will be happy with that I guess. Is it over? We shall see what happens next week but Liverpool have the edge in this tie. A huge game to win for Liverpool. No one could argue they didn't deserve the victory. Two goals and could have even been more. The home team dominated much of the game and not only that, they created the better chances, thanks to the creativity of Coutinho and Firmino. Adam Lallana had a very good game too, his presence was felt as he often times skipped away challenges in the centre circle for Liverpool. Most of their players were good with the ball and there was actually no much pressure on their defence to make them commit blunders as we used to see sometime in the game. They were solid and showed little sign of weakness, looking so good when they dominated possession and were also excellent on the counter as well. The only player that didn't see much of the ball in the second half was Daniel Sturridge, I think the manager was right to have taken him out of the match. With this result, they surely have the destiny of this tie in their own hands now. The fact that two of the Premier League superpower had their first meeting on this stage in the Europa League shows how both have fallen backwards but when they recollect that the prize of a place in the next season's Champions League is for whoever that wins the Europa League then the rise for the massive incentive for European pedigrees. If I were the Liverpool manager, knowing that there is no other game before the second leg, would just tell the players to approach the game at Old Trafford like they haven't won and try to punish United with an away goal. United may have the believe that they can overturn the deficit but playing with your closest rival at home after losing the first leg away with two goals won't be too easy and can even get worse if care isn't taken. See you at Old Trafford next week Thursday. cc: Seun Mukina

Beehshorp:Lets give him the chance first to come. Simeone and Pochettino are already hook up, their clubs wont allow them to leave but Conte will become available after Euro 2016. |
fF01:Can you imagine? In a game of such magnitude, that would be the second time he was willing to come out of a game this season when he knew he could not give his all. |
