Olaolufred: IF I WERE YOUR FRIEND, AND I ALWAYS DON'T WANT TO ENTERTAIN YOUR OPINION ABOUT ISSUES,No you have right as a reject to move on. What it means is that at some point we shared certain opinion that were similar but then began to disagree, you have a right to move on but that does not mean you are a better person than me. |
ba7man: With the immense potential we weild as a nation, even the U.S.A, UK, Germany and the likes should also be falling over themselves to get a piece of the Nigerian handshake. With those Countries you mentioned, i wouldn't be too sure if its "Investment" or "Exploitation" that's the underlying motive for extending the hand of friendship to us.Haven't we been thoroughly used by the western countries you mentioned since colonisation? What have they done for us? Shell, Chevron etc come in here and mess our environment up and take resources from here to their countries!!!. Who pays attention to CSR in Nigeria? The environment in the Niger-Delta is an eye sour!!! All these years of exploitation and nothing has changed. Who need a hand shake with 3k pounds visa country or resentful President of a supposed free country. China at least has put a win win capitalist proposal on the table which the government do not have qualms with. |
Garri the 1st: @OPBody still dey pepper you because I owned you a few days ago? You too like vex matters... must your expression seek to demean other bloggers. You can simply state what you don't understand and I will explain in layman's term for you. So what are you confused about? ![]() |

~Bluetooth:but they have cut the qty they buy from us since Obama... citing shale gas development in North America as a reason. Most of Nigeria's earning comes from south east asia in the last one year bro. |
~Bluetooth:Ameachi is the one looking for trouble... Ameachi does not understand transboundary EEZ languages and mapping that is why he is bold to express his ignorance on Oil wells being taken away from his state. There are globally accepted standards of boundary demarcations and Rivers will have to pay for enjoying what has never been theirs before its offshore borders where ratified with its' neighbors. Ameachi is just ignorant and he has found bliss in it. Nigeria does not Hate America, but that country needs to reciprocate our friendly gestures and not take us for granted. |
ba7man: Lions will never lose sleep over the opinions and actions of sheep. Do the right things and Countries will fall over themselves to associate with you. @Rossik. Who can challenge Obama's intellect and political might in Africa?? G.E.J??Well goodluck with that. Nigerians don't care too. Mind you this is about two countries and our pride. Jonathan is our President and we will stand by him in days when our friends discard us with whimsicality.... |
More like when will they capture Ciroma and the rest that promised Nigeria hell if Jonathan wins... |

Garri the 1st: I don't hate you, I just detest your inability to think rationally. Meanwhile the bolded part of your comment is a lie. The aim of this thread is to congregate hateful dolts like yourself who are incapable of rational thought to engage in a verbal slugfest against Northerners.I fit doge your question? All the regions were OK. But greed kicked in and the North became sucked up to money same as other regions in all fairnes. Nonetheless, can you tell me the region that has managed our resources most since 1960 up until now? and what have they got to show for it? |
cantell: President Obama should take his resentment for Nigeria and stick it to where the sun don't shine.Absolutely... East Africans just hate Nigerians. Obama is no different ![]() |
slimghost: Me from the North? So you reject the north with spitting in Igbo language and call on Amadioha to strike my enemy not me... how sad? What is wrong with being a northern? you treat them like shiit now abi? Nkita Ikpa dowai onu!!! ![]() |
jisky: This s not about age or youths taking over the arena.Nig s a very funny country where what s done in secret s more popular than what s done in public.Masses n youth re more than them in real sense but ,naija politic s like cults game.As long as we allow it, it becomes acceptable. What we resist together as a people will be avioded by a few that desire to control a people. |

sheyie2007: I hope this is true.... Source? So happy alreadyIt is a summary of different news cuts... but sources are below AU-Endorsement : http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/05/au-endorses-nigeria-for-un-non-permanent-seat/ USA Explanation: http://thecitizenng.com/headline-2/usa-why-obama-ll-not-visit-nigeria/ |
USA has demonstrated that it has no regards for its international allies under President Obama. He has visited Africa once and boycotted Nigeria and plan to do so again. Consequent to this, Nigeria has decided to look elsewhere for friendly countries ready to do business with Nigeria. The Nigerian President is set to visit China and Russia during Obama’s visit to Africa to welcome investors from both countries to Nigeria in the near future. China in particular will be investing heavily in the critical sectors of Nigerian economy within the third quarter of the year. America, observed the indifference of the Nigerian government over Obama's visit and frantically sort to explain why Nigeria is not on the list of the countries to be visited. It appears that the explanations have fallen on deaf ears since Nigerian President will visit China and Russia while President Obama is in Africa. America is making diplomatic push to manage the perceived slight on Nigeria and to persuade Nigerian government not to embark on the state visits. You may also recall that Nigeria was recently endorsed by the AU to vie for the non-permanent seat in the UN. “The endorsement by African ministers of Nigeria’s candidacy was a confirmation and endorsement of Nigeria’s track record of performance as far as international diplomacy was concerned. The AU Ministers endorsement of Nigeria for the position is coming on the heels of similar support by the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS. The development means that the country would be the sole candidate from the continent in the election scheduled to hold in October this year”. Though Nigeria will require two thirds of all UN members to be elected into the council, it is speculated that this fit can be achieved with or without the support of America because of the friendly posture of Nigeria’s foreign policy core. President Obama has demonstrated a high sense of resentment for Nigeria since he took office on frivolous grounds of insecurity and human right abuses effectively jeopardizing age long relationship that America has built with Nigeria over the years. |
Garri the 1st like the use of the word "intelligence", one day, you will write and confuse yourself with you assumed progressive depth on issues you barely understand...lol. inception will become your fate. No food for lazy nigaz.. |
Garri the 1st: When I saw the topic, I was of the opinion that you were interested in a robust and incisive discussion on a Northern Nigerian that isn't dependent on oil. Sadly, I was wrong about your intention as your subsequent posts revealed you were only interested in expressing your hatred for Northerners. So you imagined you had an encounter with me?...lol you don come again. Nonetheless, the rhetoric questions are meant to start a conversation on where the North will be if the South goes. Yes I resent laziness but no I don’t hate the North. All the jostle for power shift and zoning is born out of laziness and strategic moves to come and sit on the wealth of a nation produced by another. Isn’t that lazy? It is up to you to agree or north but it is a fact about the laziness of the north that book haram sprang up to create a sense of insecurity because their lazy leaders promised this country hell if Jonathan wins… Well, lazy guys but they kept their promise. So don’t hate me for my opinion because I don’t hate you for yours. Stop stalking me….lol |
APC = PDP We need something different. We need a Nigeria centric party. Why are we young folks sitting back and letting this failed generation make decisions for us? especially decisions that we can't change till a four year tenure expires and they begin to jostle to hold us down for another four year period. We are the fools, Gowon was in his twenties when he led this country, IBB was a young man when he made decisions for this country. This old folks have structured the constitution to limit how far we can go with our ambition. The system is structured for the benefit of PDP elders , its members and their benefactors. How about the youths!!! For the sake of argument, why is the youth leader in PDP above 60 years of age? I am pissed by this game they play ![]() Why did Tinubu support Jonathan during the last election? What are the chances he won’t do it again? What if APC is designed to listen and squash core opposition voices? Why are PDP rejects set to run the new APC party? |
Please take note that every President and vice president of this country since 1999 outside Obj was a governor. Atiku was an elected governor before he became VP, Yaradua was a governor, Jonathan was a governor, Sambo was a governor. Thus, Governors are the biggest problem Nigeria has and yes it is a good idea to scrap the shit out. |
Learn to select the fights you can win... Abi dem don curse Ameachi? Pride comes before the fall of a man. |

Listen from groundnut pyamid to bomb, guns and pillet praymid, who is fooling who. Spilling of blood instead of watering the soil for crops has become the growth strategy of the North... waiting lazily for monthly allocation without able to generate revenue internally has become the game plan of one building one local government north where people dont even beleive that they should pay for electricity. Who is fooling who. |
