CAR SALE AGREEMENT

This agreement is made between one Mr XXXXXXXXXXXXX, Male, of house no. 7 XXXXXXXXXXXXXStreet, Lagos, herein after referred to as the seller and one Mr. Jackson Male, of Osborne Foreshore Phase 1, Ikoyi, Lagos, herein after referred to as the buyer today Saturday, July 29, 2011.
Whereas the buyer has inspected a Honda Matrix 2003 model with registration number EZ1992LND at my office premise, Lagos and has found the car not objectionable.
The car’s chassis number is JHMCG1234564869 and its’ engine number is F25k6662187. The seller has agreed to sell the car for a purchase price of =N=650,000(six hundred and fifty thousand naira) only and to relinquish all titles/claims to the car.
The buyer has agreed to pay the above purchase consideration in exchange for the car.
To this agreement, the under signed persons have set their hands to ratify today

@ diordaves--- I'll advice you maintain decorum cos you are not privy to the contract signed btw the owner and the contractor. If you read from start, the owner just wanted to move into his house at the agreed time without any form of intervention which is expected when you give your project to a competent contractor.

it's meant to be a TURNKEY project (Everything is done by Contractor and client have to pay periodically or as stipulated in the agreement. Client is not affected by market rise, Owner put minimum efforts for his project so he has less stress)

Thank GOD for the peaceful resolution btw the contractor and the owner. Friday is just a stone throw from now, I do hope all will be fixed without any hassle/delay cos I really want to see both of you sing a new song by then

@ spyder880---- I just like your person but I'LL still want you to thread with caution. You can only speak for yourself and not others even though you belong to the same profession (That is what Demain_man is trying to point out). Look at this line of yours(These are personal convictions):
1) but we must not condemn one man if he made an honest mistake, except you know more of this that me? Are you sure he diverted funds (For me YES, Going by the trail of the posts)
2) We contractors don't see you guys as ATM machines, far from it (or at least that's the way I think personally) I am out to an[b] honest work [/b]and if I must quote low to rubbish my reputation, then the contract is not worth doing no matter how much I am being paid to do it

I don't belong to the school of thought that Ahanohai should now come up with terms of agreement as the professional contractor has pointed out, all we want is for him to finish the job as agreed and submit the Keys; He's advocating for court (LOL) cos he knows court will tell him to pay the balance at his convenience -- these are dramas playing out

Brabus is a failure, he claim to be a professional handling several projects bth in lagos & outside Lagos, doing soil tests & co; I'm just surprised that 50K/The balance will now be difficult for him to get. I can bet it with anybody, this guy won't pay a dine after handling the key of the uncompleted project to the owner. I've been on this road before (not house runs), I surely know what I'm talking about

Brabus ---- Don't bring GOD into the matter 'I pray God should judge everything on this project' and the useless BREAKDOWN of the cost should be kept in your pocket. You are not been fair


@ spyder880--- don't justify this man, you just don't know him well,  Keep doing what you know how to do best, be focused and employ the service of a good project manager if you don't have any for now, this is an eye opener for you

90% of cars sold in NIGERIA are all salvaged vehicles to the extent that you find it difficult after repair to detect when buying vehicles from dealers, when I see pple advertising Tokunbo cars at a cheap price (EXCEPT INSPIRED AUTOS & FEW GUYS WHOSE PRICE ARE IDEAL ) on Nairaland , I wonder where they are getting their cars from cos good cars don't come cheap in US, CANADA e.t.c

As for me, salvage cars with minor dents at the sides (not front or rear) is still OK otherwise buying a clean titled cars might be the ultimate option but this come at a high price + high mileage
