People, don't be deceived. This article is as old as Methuselah himself.

This is what Asari said today on arrival from Benin republic after being freed from detention.

”The allegation has much to do with 2015 because when you read comments on social media, you find out that people who are against President Goodluck Jonathan said they should vilify me, and make sure I die before 2015.

But they are not going to succeed. I am not going to die. I will be present in 2015, and I will do what I am going to do to ensure that Jonathan wins in 2015. There is nothing they can do about it. This is their last fight and it is so unfortunate that the way they are going with show how immature they are.

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/11/arrested-boko-haram-leader-asari-dokubo/
I laugh at d bold part. What influence does he wield in Nigeria that is giving him d false hope that he can make an impression in Presidential election?

The pix u uploaded above is an eye sore. I'm s staunch supporter of Fashola but the news I'm reading lately is not encouraging. The guy is trying I know but he needs to try harder. students seating on wall and floor in public schools. deplorable state of some roads in lagos suburb, deplorable state of some hospitalsl. he really needs to extend is development to Lagos suburb after all they are part of Lagos state. The situation is d same in public hospitals across the nation. Its really saddening.

revolt: in as much as I feel the purchase of the vehicles were immorally extravagant, I feel the media attacks on her like the subsidy removal, were greed driven. At first I supported saharas calumnous position, but under close investigation it turned out facts were twisted to shape public opinion.
Then a section of the country seemed so engulfed in their bigotry, they simply demanded her job, without investigation or hearing her side of the story.
The cars were govt assets but it was reported they were bought for her personal use. With the media overflog of the issue we began to sniff mischief. I'd prefer she finishes her cleanse campaign, then she can take a bow. what hapnd in the subsidy campaigns shouldn't happen here. These cabals can't be winning war on progressive implemented policies cos they control the media.
My problem with the south easterner is that when the media is hot against them, it is witch hunting not minding whether they are guilty or not. But when the table is turned around it is ok. I call that hypocrisy. Was Farouk's scandal not overflogged and trashed by the media? Did u see hausa e warlords on forums shouting and whining foul play? When Tafa and Bode where dealt with by the media for the thief they were, did u hear of yoruba's staging campaign and protesting foul play cos they are "our sons"? Ok.....if those examples are too far, didn't Punch newspaper rightly reported the pathetic state of affairs in Lag state public schools last week? This is a paper adjudged to be 'yoruba' paper when it does not favour southeasterners but they are quick to post the link of the very paper they describe as wack just to rubbish lag state govt. What m saying here is ur people need to stop playing the victim and "witch hunting" card. They need to stop their hypocrisy and senseless support of mediocrity cos of tribal and ethnic affiliation. Shallom

Politics › Re: Lagos Suspends Principal Of School Where Pupils Sit On Windows by Akshow:
Op so u can believe a news by punch.....hmmmmm interesting. I thought it was a Tinubu paper. So it is a 'southwest yoruba' newspaper when it reports about ibos but a credible newspaper when the table is turned. U guys are a pathetic shameless bunch.

@topic first and foremost, Kudos to lag st govt for the free education in all public schools in lag state. Its not an easy thing to do considering the population. #and yeah education is free in all public school in Lag. All d parent presents is jus a year tax clearance and their children are enrolled#. That been said, I think the govt can still do better. Free education without conducive learning environment will not let the students achieve their full potentials.

As for suspending the principal of that school, that is totally wrong. The media house's duty is to uncover dirt and let the populace know. That way our govt can serve us better. Lag st govt got it wrong there. I'm proudly yoruba and I say it as it is. I don't support mediocrity and brazen waste of public fund for sentimental reasons like stella Oduah's shameless supporters. So lag st have to provide better education for her citizenry after all she has the money.
Politics › Re: Niger Bridge Makes Me Cry -dr. Orji Uzor Kalu by Akshow: 8:05am On Nov 30, 2013
Niger bridge makes him wanna cry? What did he do during his tenure aside building mansions and buying exotic car? The south eastern governors have d easiest ride at governance I swear. I even consider it an insult for him to make such cynical comment. I think the ibos deserve the leaders they get cos instead of charging them to serve the people, they tend to be sentimental and celebrate mediocrity. They prefer to criticize the government of their host states than their own home state.

Ngwakwe: They chose to protest having imbibed all the lies from most scandalous S/West based media sites without confirming the realities. Examples includes;

1. The causes of those Air crashes in relationship to administrative defects emanating from NAMA/NCAA/FAAN and what actually the Minister would have done but neglected.

2. Saharareporters accused Oduah of accepting N120M kickback - conspiracy to assassinate her character/ libel

3. The purchase of the Armoured Cars wasn't initiated by Stella Oduah - Fact

4. Those Cars were not a gift for Stella Oduah rather NCAA assets .

5. That NCAA has already paid for all those Cars while it neglected training of Staff etc - this was also a lie.

6. The Scandal was orchestrated, sponsored and directed/redirected by the Aviation Cabals to get even with her for trampling on their respective interests..

Nigerians should always try to decipher lies and propaganda even when there are resemblances of truth which are modified for selfish or sectional interests.
oh shut it pls! Have u no shame at all? Is it the southwest papers that bought d cars for her? Y blame the journalists for exposing madam Stella's theifing tendencies? This ur she is "witch hunted" crap is getting over played abeg. Don't let sentiment becloud ur better reasoning. All ur falsity above can only be believed by ur people. For once in ur life call a spade a spade and not a rake.

Mr Everest: I don't know why you people will choose ignorance over enlightenment, what do you mean by the senseless trash you wrote above?
Now allow me to educate you for free, you will never see any Igbo artist, actress or celebrity that would ever choose to reside in your mega slums called cities, be it Ibadan, Oshobgo, Abeokuta or whatever, you can only see them in Lagos and that is for good reasons as I will list below.
1. Lagos was the former capital of Nigeria.
2. Almost every ethnic group in Nigeria are represented in Lagos(though the Igbos are far more prominent) by virtue of the no 1 reason.
3. As with most African countries, governments of the day concentrated development in the capital cities and as such attracted both locals and foreigners to it.
4. Ivory coast did the same thing Nigeria did by moving its capital from Abidjan(coast) to Yamousoukro (a more central area) yet Abidjan still remains the economic and commercial capital of Ivory coast and their elite and celebrities still make it their home even till today.
5. Nairobi is the capital of Kenya, so are you telling me that if Kenya decides to create a new FCT in a more centralized area, then Nairobi will become an exclusive preserve of the indigenous tribe or that Nairobi will no longer be the economic and commercial capital of Kenya?
6. I don't know why the Yorubas are so mischievous or is it inherent daftness, okay if you people made Lagos what it is today then why is it that the rest of your slums cities have remained in such a sorry state?
7. Going by your myopic reasoning, the gwaris, Nupes and other Abuja indigenous people will wake up, lets say in 2060 AD and claim that they developed Abuja, even when Suleja, Minna, Lafia etc that are theirs have remained in sorry states?

I know your type, you belong to those lazy groups that would never work hard to themselves and Nigeria but will be wishing others to abandon their hard earned investments so they would go and loot, so pathetic.

Go get a life dude and stop being a pest!
ur blatant claims of ibos not in other southwest states is a shameless attempt at covering the lost wandering nature of ur people. Go to Sango, Ifo, abeokuta and see d population of ur lost wandering bros there. I serve at Kano and saw an ibo man wit a chemist in Karaye, a mud house village. So stop deceiving ursef. Ur people are d lost souls in Nigeria. Wandering like nomadic fulanis cattles. For ur federal capital claim, Calabar was once a federal capital of Nigeria too. Have u considered moving there to flex ur muscles? Shameless ingrates!
