Mahmoud Ahmadinejad comforts the mother of Hugo Chavez. (Miraflores Press Office/AP) Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is under fire from the country's clerics over a photo of him consoling the mother of Hugo Chavez at the late Venezuelan leader's funeral—physical contact that's considered a sin under Iran's strict Islamic codes. The photo, released by Venezuela's Miraflores Press Office, shows Elena Frías' right hand clutching Ahmadinejad's left, her head against his, as they stand near the flag-draped coffin of her son at a military academy in Caracas, Venezuela, on Friday. The image drew the immediate fury of Tehran's religious conservatives. “No unrelated women can be touched unless she is drowning at sea or needs medical treatment," Hojat al-Islam Hossein Ibrahimi, a cleric at the Society of Militant Clergy, said, according to Iran's Al-Monitor. Some of Ahmadinejad's supporters insisted the image was fake, digitally altered from a different photo showing the Iranian leader embracing an older man. But as The New York Times noted, the man-hug image was quickly debunked as a Photoshop job: A side-by-side comparison produced by Entekhab showed that this image had been created by lifting the head of Mohamed ElBaradei, the former chief of the United Nations nuclear agency, from a previously published photograph of him greeting another Iranian official with a kiss in 2007. Video of Ahmadinejad's embrace of Frías also surfaced, seeming to prove the original image's authenticity. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Fn87FFfJpso

Oahray: lol. Keep twisting english like many pastors do. Condemning a person's action is a way of correcting the person. See how many translations render Gal 2:111st corinthians 5:10-13 read we cant judge unbelievers but believers |
please i believe this thread are for those that actually bought the car not for people who were given cars. I got mine last year 26yrs old Honda Civic 2001 American spec getting another one soon. |
it has nothing to do with religion as we would see in esau and jacob, Blessings are as real as curses. i feel when you hurt someone willfully and the person place a curse on you believe it or not you'd be hunted so it is for blessings if you have done good like it or not youre bless |
contrary to what your posting says the passage you quoted does not truly go along. Every sinner would go to 'HELL FIRE' |
There are sins that war against spiritual life in the soul, and the life above. We cannot pray that the sins of the impenitent and unbelieving should, while they are such, be forgiven them; or that mercy, which supposes the forgiveness of sins, should be granted to them, while they wilfully continue such. But we may pray for their repentance, for their being enriched with faith in Christ, and thereupon for all other saving mercies. We should pray for others, as well as for ourselves, beseeching the Lord to pardon and recover the fallen, as well as to relieve the tempted and afflicted. And let us be truly thankful that no sin, of which any one truly repents, is unto death. |
That passage isn't talking about hell or death (physical) but spiritual. 16-17For instance, if we see a Christian believer sinning (clearly I'm not talking about those who make a practice of sin in a way that is "fatal," leading to eternal death), we ask for God's help and he gladly gives it, gives life to the sinner whose sin is not fatal. There is such a thing as a fatal sin, and I'm not urging you to pray about that. Everything we do wrong is sin, but not all sin is fatal.(MSG) |
propose to him ![]() |
im surprised dey made dat much money |
in time |
CAN should focus on the most important task which is winning more souls and leave the rest for God. If he feels there's no insult then let him dance wit his fate the battle is the Lords and not ours He is the Head of the church we can't tell him to fight his battles. |

indeed there is a lot for him to do, so many important issues to be resolved, i as much i'd love to see him concentrate on a particular issue say light< others cannot suffer like oil it would take time, all we need to do is let our voice be heard now while we can still voice out(to some extent). |
