Romance / How To Know If A Woman/lady Likes You. by akubudejud(m): 1:19pm On Feb 13, 2015
How To Read Her Mind.!

With due respect to all women out there..including my mother, sister, aunties and female friends. We all know that the mind of a woman is too complex,so for you to read her mind you need to first of all know what category where you can place her.

In the case of women we have 4 categories of women which are namely:
A very interested woman
A moderately interested woman
A woman hanging around for financial gain
A woman who has no romantic interest in you at all.
A very interested woman

If a lady is very interested in you, the more pro-active ones will take the initiative to ask you out. She may come up with an excuse of borrowing things from you so that she can meet up with you. The less pro-active ones will accept your dates and perhaps offer to pay for your second meal so as to ensure continuity. When she is out with you, she will pay close attention to what you say.

She will laugh at your jokes (even if they are not funny!) and will show signs of uneasiness when you talk about another woman. It is always a plus point to know her friends if you want to date her. This is because she will talk about you to her friends and ask her friends of their opinion of you.

She will also talk about your good points to them and mention your name frequently during her conversations with her friends.
A moderately interested woman.

If she is moderately interested but is unsure if you are more suitable to be a friend or lover, she will treat you as she would with other friends. She will answer your calls and tell you about her life. She messages you occasionally when she is bored and may send you forwarded SMSes once in a while, such as on festive occasions.

She may accept your dates every now and then, only when she is very free. However, she will prefer to go on group outings with both of your common friends, instead of one-to-one outings for fear that you may get the wrong idea. She may treat you as her ""emotional diaper", confiding in you the problems she is facing and hoping that you will give her advice.

She may also ask you to do things for her, such as lending her the latest copy of a fashion magazine or checking up on something that interests her.

A woman who is out for financial gains
Some woman may try to get close to you deliberately so that she can get make some financial gains from you. She has more interest in your bank account than you as an individual. Tell tale signs will be that she accepts dates from you only if they are at posh restaurants (she will reject dinner dates at the food court or hawker centre).

She will deliberately say that she is interested in something (usually something very expensive, such as diamond jewellery) so as to entice you to get it for her. She may even ask you to pay for things she buys for her friends!.
A woman who has no romantic interest in you at all!

Finally, if a lady is not interested in you at all, what she does is very obvious. In the most extreme of cases, she will reject all your calls, turn down all your dates and may even block you on internet messenger! A more subtle form of showing disinterest is to appear cold towards you.
. When you are talking to her, she will appear disinterested in the conversation, and may cast repeated glances at her watch impatiently, hoping that you’ll pick up the hint to get out of her sight. No matter which day you ask her out, she is always able to give you a ‘valid’ excuse why she’s not free. Guess there is no real need to elaborate more on this!

So now you have seen it all on how to read the mind of a woman before she can even realize it.

On a serious note, Getting your WIFE OR HUSBAND during NYSC year is a BLESSING!!

IF THE NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE CORPS BYE-LAWS SECTION NUMBER 7 MAY SEEM NOT TO BE IMPORTANT TO MANY MEMBERS, WELL MANY LIKE ME WILL BE GRATEFUL FOR THE FLEXIBILITY OF THE SCHEME BY-LAWS REGARDING MARRIAGE.

Section number 7.***** Marriage During Service Year says: cheesy

A member who desires to get married during the service year shall:

(a) Be allowed to perform the marriage ceremony in any place of his/his choice;

(b) Any member who wishes to apply to apply for leave of absence for the purpose of sub-paragraph (a) above shall do so not
later than four weeks before the date of the proposed marriage.

Truly speaking the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is indeed a blessing in disguise for many Nigerian youth who see marriage as part of life and what makes it go round, meanwhile, I will never in my life believe I will meet my heartthrob during my one year service let alone marry her (not as corper then)and today we are not only married but have kids and doing great.

If you seek my own opinion now, the whole program (NYSC) might be a divine plan for ONE to really settle his or her matrimonial life (If caution and sincerity is put to play here and not a play boy or Casanova kind of life exhibited around this period).

Many of my friends both male and female got married during this period not necessarily with a co-corper but someone around their jurisdiction! At the (Orientation camp),(individual primary assignment),(friends of their friend ), fellowship members like NCCF, NFCS, Muslim groups and even external non corper friends who visit corpers at the lodge, IT IS IMPORTANT TO BE FRIENDLY TO THOSE AROUND YOU BE A GOOD, HARDWORKING AND NICE CORPER BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW WHO IS WATCHING YOU.

So what do you think?..is it now true that this scheme ( NYSC ) is almost defeated in Nigeria? I think this area should be looked into for national integration.

A popular and True Love Story is between Pamela and Jideobi!

From NYSC to the Ruby Gardens -

Pamela and Jideobi who met during the National Youth Service Corps in Lagos....!

Pamela and Jideobi’s story is a beautiful tale. They found love at the Lagos NYSC camp where they had gone to serve the fatherland. Pamela was the beauty queen of her platoon and represented them for the Miss Camp contest. In the course of that duty, she not only won herself the admiration of everyone who gazed upon her beauty but also the heart of Mr Macho himself, Jideobi, who had won the competition hands down for finest male in Camp Lagos.
From a few glances at each other, came the initial hi and hellos and then the long talks and a relationship was borne.

There has been much ‘hue and cry' concerning the fall in the standard of Education in Nigeria. Arguments being raised by those in support of this assertion include among others: the myopic academic capability and standard being displayed by students of today's educational institutions vis-à-vis their counterparts of yester-years and the prevailing cases of examinations malpractices that have enveloped the entire educational system. This paper, examines this issue from the perspective of its causes and effects on students, parents, governments, nation and the educational system. Suggestions towards combating the social menace also has alot to do with our individual person..

...there is need for change indeed!!

Religion / See Sex, Sexuality And Sex Everywhere, What Do We Do Now Pictures? by akubudejud(m): 3:00pm On Jan 22, 2015
This is the era of sex marketing. If you turn right, sex leaps into your face; if you turn left, sex jumps at you. In the street, in the shopping mall, in the church, in the office, on your computer and phone, and even in your living room, sex chases you around.

Sex – subtle or barefaced – has become all-pervasive in our society. Our society has become so sex-charged that the safety of our children is no longer guaranteed. Before, the rule was that during the children’s belt on TV, materials with adult content were not shown. These days, the only things that are not shown on our TV from morning to about 10 pm are commercials of alcoholic beverages. Any other thing goes. At such periods, TV stations are competing on which will show more Mexican soaps featuring deep kissing and Intimate scenes every five minutes. Almost all the stations dedicate about two hours per day to music videos with bikini-clad girls dancing with men with lewd abandon.

Then there are the so-called Nigerian and Ghanaian home videos that are anything but homely. Even though many of these films are rated 16 or 18, they are shown on regular TV stations during the day when children are home watching TV. Even within early news bulletins when families are expected to be watching TV, film trailers with smooching scenes are advertised. What do you do? Ban your children from watching TV? That is not an option for me. The only thing within my power is that I have ensured that they do not watch any TV/video material that is rated over 13. But what do I do when these adult materials are slotted into family belts?

If I drive to the news vendor with my children in the car, there are Indecency magazines littering the table that it becomes a crime taking children to such a place.

If I drive into a filling station or drop by the post office to check my mails, I am confronted by some men selling the local Viagra. The horrible thing about these men is that they flash their products with obscene pictures as you are parking. On one occasion at the car park at Ikeja General Post Office, Lagos, my children were in the car when one of these unscrupulous men flashed their sex-dripping packs at the car window, saying: ”Oga, man power!” I was so angry I felt like slapping him.

What one sees at social events is another story altogether because of the if-you’ve-got-it-flaunt-it policy that is in vogue. One does not complain because it is a free world. But the one that surprises one as inexplicable is seeing grandmothers in some churches trying to outdo teenage girls on who would flaunt a deeper cleavage.

Even the social networks are constantly attacked by sex hackers. A couple of times, Facebook was attacked with pornographic pictures littering everywhere. The network always reacted as fast as it can to cleanse its channel. But with such fears and also the possibility of some mindless people posting Unclad or semi-Unclad pictures, one has to be careful not to leave one’s laptop facing the children anytime one is on the social network.

Yahoo is not left out of the sex bait. In recent times, Yahoo has been showing adverts of girls with plunging neckline asking you to chat with them. Sometimes the picture of a girl pops up by your Yahoo home page asking to click on her and UnCloth her. Such adverts confirmed to me that Facebook had eaten so deep intoYahoo’s business that Yahoo does not have any scruples about collecting all kinds of adverts. To check my emails on Yahoo, I have to turn my screen away from my children to avoid such pictures flashing in their face.
Then there are the hordes of bloggers who want to draw traffic to their sites so as to start making money from advertising. One common way they use for this is to post sensual adverts on the internet urging you to click and see what one celebrity did with another celebrity. Knowing the power of sex, they believe that with such a bait, people would click and be taken to their blogs, which have counters that record the number of visitors.

Also, any time I attend a children’s party like a birthday and children are told to dance, I always feel embarrassed at the type of Intimate moves made by girls who are less than 10 years old. At one of such parties, a friend whose eight-year-old girl came first in the dancing competition was so shocked at the way her daughter wriggled her waist and backside that she vowed that she would not allow her watch music videos on TV anymore. The dancing of the little girl looked more like what a professional strip tease woman would do rather than what a girl of eight would do. The mother confessed that she had seen her daughter dance with her siblings and friends now and then but had never seen her dance in such an obscene way.
Furthermore, a contemporary novel that is not dripping with sex is “archaic.” I remember reading Half of a Yellow Sun of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie some years ago, and when my niece in secondary school saw me with it and asked me to give it to her after reading it, I told her stories for weeks, all in a bid not to let her have the book. I told myself that I would not be the one to give her a novel with so many love-making scenes. If she had to get such a book, let her get it herself, not through me. In the same vein, I heard of one of the rave-making novels of the world in recent years, which was described as a success story in self-publishing, and decided to read it: 50 Shades of Grey by E. L. James. I only read a few pages and stopped. Almost every other page featured raw sex, violent sex, animalistic sex. The “novel” is just an out-and-out pornographic book: the only thing missing in it are pictures! Sir Salman Rushdie said about the book: “I’ve never read anything so badly written that got published.” Many authorities have described its prose as low, yet the book has sold 90 million copies since 2011!
It is obvious that most people have realised that nothing sells like sex. They therefore exploit sex as sale bait: whatever negative consequence on society is not their business.

Nobody knows if the recent high rate of rape in our society has any connection with all these factors that have made our society sexually charged. Because we live in a free society, the dress code of people may not be determined by law, but the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission has the power to regulate what should be shown on TV when our children are awake and watching TV. Those who sell the local Viagra in packs decorated with glossy obscene pictures need to be arrested or chased out of public places.

Interestingly, any time one complains about the all-pervasive sex in our society, one is either told to close one’s eyes, or to stop being a hypocrite. But surprisingly, I have never seen any of these so-called non-hypocrites have sex in broad daylight by the roadside or in the market. Among human beings, sex is a private thing, done behind closed doors. Only animals have sex in the public.
An adult mind may not be adversely affected by sexually explicit materials, but exposing our children to such materials has a very negative impact on them. We must not fold our arms and wave it off as modernity.

Hospital vice-president Lin Liu said: "We've just given him a checkup; he is fitter than most men his age."

Peng Shuilin has opened his own bargain supermarket, called the Half Man Half Price Store. The inspirational 37-year-old has become a businessman and is used as a role model for other amputees.

At just 2ft 7ins tall, he moves around in a wheelchair giving lectures on recovery from disability. His attitude is amazing, he doesn't complain. He had good care, but his secret is cheerfulness. Nothing ever gets him down.

You have a whole body. You have feet.

Now you have met a man who has neither. His life is a feat of endurance, a triumph of the human spirit in overcoming extreme adversity.

So the next time you want to complain about something trivial - don't.

Remember Peng Shulin instead

Health / Miracle! Man,completly Cut In Half By Vehicle Accident Walk Again-pictures/video by akubudejud(m): 10:32am On Jan 16, 2015
Is this a miracle or science? Peng Shuilin, a Chinese man who lost the lower half of his body in an automobile accident.

...the graphic nature will offend some viewers, who are advised not to click on the video if the still image is disturbing.

On the other hand the violence itself is not shown - just the aftermath. And it's real - not a video or movie FX. Such accidents have happened in industry since Victorian times, and most likely on medieval and prehistoric battlefields before that. Survivial for even a brief period requires a crushing injury rather than a cutting one - an event that seals the aorta and vena cava. The event also documents the remarkable role of endogenous opioid endorphins.

The video is unutterably sad for the man's activities - his futile efforts to close the wound or rebutton his shirt, and for the (lack of) activity of the bystanders, although it's hard to know what practical responses they could have made.

The man reportedly died shortly after being loaded into an ambulance.

The photo is of Peng Shulin, who was cut in half by a large transport truck in 1995. his case shows that survival is possible despite the overwhelming trauma - a testament to the resilience and recuperative power of the human body and spirit.

Peng Shuilin, 37, spent nearly two years in hospital in Shenzhen, southern China, undergoing a series of operations to re-route nearly every major organ or system inside his body.
Peng kept exercising his arms, building up strength, washing his face and brushing his teeth.
He survived against all odds.

Now Peng Shulin has astounded doctors by learning to walk again after a decade.

Watch the Accident video here: the graphic nature will offend some viewers, who are advised not to click on the video if the still image is disturbing.

Is there life after death?

What is the purpose of religion? You’ll probably get many different answers to that question, depending on who you’re talking with. However, many religious skeptics claim that religion exists merely as a vehicle for humanity to attempt to explain the unexplainable aspects of life and, ultimately, mollify the masses’ fears about death.

The logical conclusion when deciding that religious thinking is manmade mythology is that death is the absolute end of life; there is no life, no hope, no existence at all beyond the grave. Some people find comfort in this naturalistic point of view, because it releases them from any responsibility toward any god and leaves them to enjoy their lives as they see fit. This line of thinking grew in popularity throughout the 20th century.

This type of skepticism, however, doesn’t stop many people from wondering what, if anything, awaits us on the “other side” of death. Death and the afterlife remain a source of confusion, mystery, and fear for many people.

Is there an afterlife? If so, is it immediate? Is it bodily or spiritual? How is it different than the life we know now? Is everything bigger and better? Do we gain more wisdom? More power? Where does this life take place? When does it occur?

We believe there is a plan to overcome death, and we can learn about this plan from an absolutely authoritative source. The truth about death offers answers to these questions and more.

Celebrities / Re: DEATH: See some Great People Death took from us,..Life is Nothing! by akubudejud(m): 10:20am On Jan 15, 2015
However, there are many religious texts available today, and they do not all say the same thing about death. In fact, one of the reasons there are so many opinions about death is the diverse array of religious doctrines on the subject. So how do we know which text, if any, will guide our search correctly?

What is life?

The subjects of death and religion are inherently linked. If something does await us after we die, a supernatural being like a god must be involved. It stands to reason, then, that we should look to religious texts to find information about death

Celebrities / Re: DEATH: See some Great People Death took from us,..Life is Nothing! by akubudejud(m): 10:06am On Jan 15, 2015
Clearly, the only way to decipher this profound mystery is to find an authoritative source of truth that will expose all error and remove the need for speculation. Are we fortunate enough to have such an authority? We believe so

Celebrities / Re: DEATH: See some Great People Death took from us,..Life is Nothing! by akubudejud(m): 9:57am On Jan 15, 2015
The mystery of death is so profound that, despite the millennia of religious doctrine, mythology, scientific research, and the many theories and explanations that exist on the subject, people today are more confused than ever about it. Even within individual religious groups there is often a stark difference of opinion on the nature of death. Many lines of religious thought simply accept the inevitability of death and instead try to offer better alternatives that await the faithful in the afterlife. These ideas bring comfort to many people who have lost loved ones or are facing death themselves, but they leave others wondering, “Why must death exist? Wouldn’t an all-powerful God eradicate death? Shouldn’t all life inherently live forever?”

Interestingly, scientific research into single-celled organisms reveals that the nature of life, on a cellular level, does not automatically include a self-destruct mechanism for death. In other words, it appears that death is an unnatural part of life. Yet despite this, everything on earth eventually dies

Any study of the nature of death begs an important foundational question: Why must things die in the first place?

What is death?

Regardless of race, religion, geographical area, or time period, every human has wondered about the one fact of life that unifies us all: What is death?

Throughout history, different mythologies and theologies have explained the nature of death in countless ways, ranging from total annihilation to immediate life after death in the presence of God … or in torment. Some groups allow their dead to “work off” their badness and eventually reach paradise. Others envision life after death filled with a never-ending abundance of the pleasures of earthly life. Some teach that the dead are rewarded by becoming gods unto themselves, while others teach earthly reincarnation based on the deeds of the previous life.

Regardless of a person’s particular belief system, however, the fact remains that death is the end of life … or at least life as we know it. Death, dying, and the afterlife are all shrouded in deep mystery, cloaked in darkness and generally surrounded by fear and apprehension. The very idea of death strikes fear into many people’s hearts.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

Human beings are totally powerless to prevent or overcome death. Our mightiest efforts to defend ourselves from the grave ultimately end in failure. Everyone dies. We can be thankful, however, that not everyone is as powerless over death as we are!

It is logical to assume that the source of all life would also hold the keys to death. Additionally, that source would explain the whole thing to us so we can take advantage of the solution to death if we so choose. We hope that when you understand the nature of death, you’ll see the beauty and logic of the plan to overcome it.

..It is always good to live according to the dictate of our creator ...'GOD' for without God man is Nothing!!!
