I am currently stuck outside lagos and I really need to get back to attend to my business projects.

The way I'm burning through cash here is alarming.

I understand the need for the lockdown but since it has been eased down a bit(in lagos), it's only fair I get back to my primary residence to get my affairs in order. Palliatives won't pay the bills.

There's what is called 'powering' of a study. In simple terms, this means ensuring the study has sufficient subjects, of the required inclusion/exclusion criteria, etc to be sure the observed effect is due to the drug and nothing else. Getting that number involves complex calculations involving biostatisticians.

And that is just getting the subjects. We've not even talked about the main study itself - a randomized control trials.

Clinical trials can take any where from 3 - 5 years and cost millions if not billions of dollars. The 200million in OP is a very conservative figure.

As far as I can tell, they have been doing clinical trials since, only problem is how they're going to be gathering results.

Asides that, I think you have to maintain an account in naira in Nigeria to be able to operate and paypal being dollar-ccentric will see that as a bad investment.

And then information sharing; Nigeria may not be so keen to release numerous information upon information of its citizens to paypal.
