lagerwhenindoubt: I think this is a serious call to action - When i was vibrantly active in the study of the occult, i still went to church on Sunday and participated in house Fellowships.. I found it strange that I was not found out. only one person suspected because of my "strange" interpretations of scripture.. outside that i went undetected for years.. perhaps all this witch-hunting is borne out of the need to remain popularwhat do u know about the occult? Do u believe in the existence of witches? |
yasaa: Following yesterdays attack on the emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, intelligence gathering reveal that the attack was carried on by members of an Underground Movement: CHILDREN OF THE DEAD- a group of sons and daughters of the soldiers who had died during the Civil War. This group are strongly believe to be the ones behind the bombings in Nothern Nigeria.after all is said and done, we hope that boko haram has been neutralized finally, |
The story sounds funny, if it were'nt serious I would have laughed, but it's no funny, cos it has to do with the loss of a human life, may God grant u the strength to bear this loss ogus baba, forget about burning anybody, just leave it for God to judge, cos I know ur broda (any where he is) would'nt want u to spoil your life cos of him, so just forgive and forget and leave vengeance for God, it is well, God knows best my broda, take heart, |
@op, why e dey pain u? Dem don catch u winch before? |
Are we ever going to know the truth behind this story? |
DivideUs: Oct 04 2010 azazi appointed NSA and Boko haram starts bombings, Azazi sacked on 22 June 2012 and Boko haram bombings reduce significantly, Azazi dies in a military helicopter crash on 15 Dec 2012 and not a single bombing by Boko Haram even on calendar days that previously witness such, when will we start asking questions?I find this your analysis not valid, why would an islamic fundamentalist group, plan it's aTtack wit a southerner, a person who comes from a place they hate so much, a person who stands for the very reason they've bEen killing non muslims? Nahh, it's not plausible ma friend, |
cogitoErgo: That Prof. is as good as Prft. T.B. Joshua and co! Greediness (a typical Nigerian ailment!) is disturbing him. If he discorverd something, what actualy happened to publications in journals such as Nature and co (as some people here had suggested), what happened to patent law?so what do u think happened? Does he really have the cure to aids or was he misleading the public? |
I really pray and hope we don't hear from them again, |
MODs pls try to get this topic to the front page, pls, and gideon, don't worry, God is creating a way foR u, and tru u your family will be delivered, it is well ma broda, be strong, |

Shollypopz: hhmmm.....this 2015 election will be very interestingyou also have a strong point here, |
onatisi: they seem to have relocated most of their fighters to northern mali to fight the un coalition force.hmmmm, u have a point there, it seems they are helping their fellow jihadists, |
ogusbaba1: lols dis one wey u dey find my mouth so, eh eh na my work i dey oo lolslol, |
For the past couple of weeks, I have bEen filled with joy, because of the absence of the islamic extremist group, boko haram, we celebrated the yuletide season with a little rest of mind, there were no bombings or mass killings, although killings were recorded in some parts of the north, but it was'nt as severe compared to 2011's yuletide period, but I have to ask, where is boko haram? Has the government finally negotiated with them behind our back? Or has the military overpowered them? I'm asking because we would all like to enjoy this break from them, and we would want this break to continue indefinitely, pls drop your opinions on their whereabouts, and pls no insults on this thread. |
eGuerrilla: And I suppose the conspiracy theorists are leaving nothing to chance this timefrom your link, I understood that the professor seemed to have gathered sufficient data, to make the initial announcement he did, but the question still remains, if he was so sure as to put his neck on the line for something so unconventional, and make that kind of announcement, then why the change of mind all of a sudden, this whole thing just keeps getting weirder and weirder, and it seems we might not really know the truth behind this whole story, |
ogusbaba1: Source http://www.ogusbaba.com/2013/01/letter-between-uduaghan-and-isoko-nation.htmloga ogusbaba, be very honest, I know say u be friend to the governor, but, in all sincerity, has the man done anything to move Delta state forward? be sincere pls, |
After pondering on this issue, I discovered that there are different angles to this whole drama, one of them is this, it's possible that the original idea to the cure was stolen by the professor and his team, and when it got to some technical issues surrounding the research, he and his team could not solve them because the idea was'nt theirs originally, so they were forced to retract their earlier statements, I'm saying this because I have seen this happen at ubth, a friend of mine shared some ideas with a consultant and in the next couple of weeks I saw the consultant announcing on vanguard that he was on the verge of a scientific breakthrough, but all in all, there's still something fishy about this whole debacle, |
I want to commend my fellow nairalanders on their comments, I'm feeling really proud to be a member of this forum, I'm really happy that there has been no insults on my person or on any other person who commented, this issue is really a di cey one, and I and I believe most of u would like to get to the root of this matter, pls keep your opinions coming, they are all appreciated, and to the nairalander who posted the story of one abalaka, pls we would like to know more about the story, I hope this case does'nt go down that road, personally, I've not made up my mind on what to believe, all I know is that there's something not right about this whole issue, pls keep your comments coming, thanks y'all |
REMMEI: Maybe misquoted..because those press can be so funny sometimes..but IMHO there's more to this news than he coming out to recant it..i won't be amazed if the whole nation never heard of this prof anymore..YOU KNOW WHAT AM TALKING ABOUT.u have a point there, but I hope it does'nt get to the point where the professor disappears, |
Mods, I would be most grateful if this topic could be brought to the front page, so that more people would share their opinions, oga afam4eva I greet u, |
The last couple of days has been dramatic for the scientific community in Nigeria and the whole nation at large, with the supposed discovery for the cure for HIV/AIDs, by professor ibeh, at first, prof ibeh, a professor with the university of benin came out to address the press to tell them that he and some of his colleagues had discovered the cure for the AIDs pandemic, only for him to come out some days later to recant the whole story, and for his employer which is the university of benin to distance it's self from the whole escapade, is it that a professor of that caliber lied to us? Or is there a global conspiracy to hide the cure for HIV and AIDs? We have to think about this thoroughly, we have had speculations for long about how AIDs is man-made, does this whole fiasco give credence to that hypothesis? Did the professor lie? Or was he threatened to back off? Is there a scientific cabal that's bent on not releasing the cure for HIV and AIDs, pls let's share our opinions, my distinguished fellow nairalanders, |
