I have had close to 5years experience with 5 to six different mi phones and I can authoritatively tell you mi phones are one of best and the software issues isn't as bad as this poster is presenting it, miui have different software ROM, alpha,beta, stable even custom ROMs which most common users may not know but I advise you ask for official global stable ROM when buying Xiaomi phones and always check the phone box to see the type of software inside the phone.
