There is a ‘kkraaaaan’ sound coming from around the engine chain, 3 different mechanics yet none is able to fix it still. They both changed chain, changed adjuster and even something called ‘metal’ yet no difference. I’ve ‘changed’ it for them because I don’t even have money to waste anymore. I probably made a mistake trusting them too much instead of going to scan since last month when the issue started. The car is Muscle Camry and I’ll appreciate a very good scanning centre around Gate Abesan thru to Gate Jakande. ReadaDream: What issues are you having with the car? |

I don’t even know where to start from. Once I do this one another shows up. Then after 2 days the same fault. Sounds from the engine or silencer as if bolts and nuts are inside and they keep making that sound. I just need that which I asked🤦🏾 ReadaDream: What issues are you having with the car? |

Or is it just better I go to a Toyota service centre. I’m seriously tired. It’s Muscle Camry. My location currently is Isolo/Ejigbo AlamuBiyi: Please, please again and then please. I need someone to help with with an HONEST, PRECISE and EXPERIENCED MECHANIC. Before Lagos mechanics will have me dead 🤦🏾 If I can get one on the mainland fine, but just give me details of the ones you know😪 I’m ´deading’ if I could say |

Thank you This was really true, that paid waiting thing is fvcking nonsense Omoapena: That paid waiting is scam just to make driver think their waiting time isn't a waste but in reality, you will realize it is a waste.
Better you convert it to that 12500 offline and know you're not paying any commission... |

When the waiting time is up to 30 minutes already Is it still reasonable to continue a trip of 11k or is it better to do offline because the passenger accepted 12500 offline trip Keffi Ikoyi to Ejigbo at 4pm |

Barbiturate: Indrive: you choose wherever you want to go. Bolt: you slightly choose. If you cancel much, your driver score reduces and you get blocked.
Indrive: No paid waiting, so riders get to delay you for 10/20 mins. Bolt: there's paid waiting after 5 mins.
Indrive: Fastest fingers will not let you get ride on time. You wait for long period at times before getting a ride Bolt: you're always busy. No dull moment.
Indrive: they charge 10% commission, excluding VAT Bolt: they charge 20% commision, excluding VAT
Indrive: fixed price but you negotiate. If you stay long in traffic, rider still pays the negotiated price ab initio. Bolt: Not fixed. Rider is charged based on time spent on the journey.
Indrive: No car inspection/ you can register online and start working. Bolt: car inspection with a fee
But as a newbie, I'll advice you start with bolt and uber Quite insightful Thanks a bunch Obviously Bolt is way preferable, what benefit are people using Indrive for then Does that mean I can run Bolt and Uber together ? You didn’t talk about Uber tho And meanwhile, how about the financial sides, profit and all |

Because it's francophone I expect it to even be better.

79733139: How far? Have you written your exams? If not, I still have CFA 7000 from my 2022 trip, I live in Lagos, so if you are interested we could meet up and do an exchange at the current rate. Funny ☺, 7k cfa at current rate? What's the point meeting up then? The only consideration would have been a way cheaper rate. If not, what's the point meeting up for 7k cfa from a total of about 200k cfa that is needed, when I'll still have to go change the balance at the current rate. |

Awesomemama: What about transportation, accommodation, feeding etc You don't need to fly, go by road it's safe You only need to sleep one night, nobody knows you, book a cheap hotel If you were in Nigeria 🇳🇬 you'll feed won't you, not like you're staying for days I can beat my chest you're not even spending 500k in total. Except if you don't want to be economical! Like I said I went there to verify, I'll write there! |

79733139: It was still the same CFA160, 000 in 2022 when I took my 1st TEF. It is the exchange rate that has made it more expensive for Nigerians (with Naira). I even attached a photo of my bordereau de versement espèce. Maybe it was 160k cfa at a time in 2022, I can't remember But my point is, up to last week it was 140cfa across West Francophones. It just increased, in fact I still have the schedule where it was 140k cfa. Maybe after 2022 it was decreased or maybe your registration agency charged you. I've known it to be 140k cfa for a while! That being said, 160k cfa is about 400k in naira now. It better to write there than... 700k Ngr |

aurorae1: I heard TCF price has also increased there. Consider also the transportation and other logistics... Yes increased but it's not bad still It's now 160k cfa +9 hours of free prep class. That's about 400k in naira looking at the bad exchange rate. But it's still like half price. I was there yesterday to confirm |

Honestly to me, I do not really believe in giving SOP out. Imagine one person writing for 20 people, why would not content not be almost the same concept. They could only give a guideline though. Meanwhile if Canada will refuse you they will, it's not always a function of SOP You needed to see my SOPs, I was even really commended for such write up having followed the guide for content. May God help us Tonyodg: Good evening everyone trust we are all doing good Please I want to point out a few things as it has come to my notice ,not happened once or twice but keeps repeating itself as it has happened to my friends on this thread Please those of us who claim to be SOP writers Making it seem like the statement of purpose for visa processing is Gold (We Nigerians make a really big deal out of things too much ) yes I know your SOP is meant to be Good and all . But where you become wicked is when different individuals contact you to help write the SOP you charge that’s very fine , you get paid and instead of the writer to take out time and do a good job because you was paid for your services , No greed would allow you copy and paste what you have written for 3-4 other people... It doesn’t make sense it’s just pure wickedness and plagiarism ... please let’s endeavour to do the right things as it’s said “Do to others what you wish for yourself” Please everyone know who you give your SOP to help you review or write cause I have seen 4 SOPs from different people that are the same on this thread God bless us all |

Yeah exactly Osemigho: If you qualify for EE and have the requirements, it is better and more straightforward. PR will likely reduce your tuition by 1/3. You qualify for more scholarship. Unlike Canada student visa, It require less documentation. You can get it probably less than ten documents. All the best with your application. |

Because my SOP stated I wanted to come back to Nigeria after studies, which they didn't want. But the truth is once they're not giving you they can give unexpected reasons I'm still in Nigeria, expecting feedback post-covid But the PR thing is just better I presume I'm still here actually Jermaineayo: Thrice...whoaaa!! Honestly if you've not started yet I'll advice that you just do PR package instead of Student. With my experience, you might have to apply like thrice. Meanwhile the PR is a lifetime opportunity Jermaineayo: Hello everyone, I'm planning on making my application for study permit soon...wish me well.
But here's the thing, my proof of financial statement is about 40 mega bytes alone and the minimum required is 4 mb. Please has anyone had to achieve such feat...I mean in terms of compressing the file.

Waoh, just seeing this. I don't even want to write epistles Have you not heard of Canadian PR? That's one sure way to go. Ask people about this, it's a bit tedious but a lifetime opportunity. Please run for your life ASA you can. With the PR, you can find all you need in Canada. Read online about it and get back to me. You don't even need agents to run it for you All you need is ielts plus your documents and french because of your age. The money. Do this, you'll be forever happy!! TallNigerian: Hello Nairalanders,
I will be 30 years in a few months and I have never felt so much unease as I do right now. I work with one of the federal parastatals and I am currently on level 10 going to 12 next year. I have a Master degree athough it is not exactly relevant to my current job.
The problem is that my organisation uses the Ministry salary structure and my monthly net is below 80k even as a level 10 staff.
I am not married and I am academically inclined. Asides having a Master degree, I have over 8 professional certifications.
I have been trying to clinch a transfer of service to a better parastatal where the remuneration is better and where my knowledge/experiences as a science graduate will be better appreciated but it has been a bit difficult.
However, just before the COVID-19 episode in Nigeria, I got the right link for a transfer of service to a better parastatal but the process got stalled with the COVID-19 palaver.
I have 4 siblings who are Canadian citizens and they have been on my neck to migrate. I never took the calls seriously until this lockdown period. My siblings are arguing about the uncertainty of the Nigerian economy post-covid and advising me to seize this opportunity to migrate and start a new career over there?
My question therefore, "is it wise to stay back since I have gone quite far in my public service career and just wait for the opportunity to transfer my service to a better paying federal parastatal OR do I migrate to Canada and start a new career?
Your honest inputs will be highly appreciated. Thanks!
@CrazyMan @1forall Please I need your help in pushing this forward for a wider view. Thank you. |
