Today,Sunday July 15th ,a month and one day after the 2018 World Cup began, France or Croatia will be crowned world champions.

An all-European final was assured in the semi-finals, when the two remaining South American teams (Uruguay and Brazil) were eliminated in the Quarter finals.

England's defeat and Belgiums' loss sets an all-European final between Croatia and 1998 FIFA World Cup winner,France.

Croatia top the toughest Group in the tournament, spanking the Super Eagles of Nigeria , Messi's Argentina and Iceland .They also knocked out Denmark, Russia and England, with all three games going to extra-time.

France reached the final after defeating Argentina in the 2nd round , Uruguay in the quarter finals and Belgium in the semi finals.

Croatia will be happy with a penalty shootouts should the game ends in a draw after 120mins. They are only the second team in World Cup history to win back-to-back penalty shootouts and if they find themselves there again, they will feel confident with Subasic between the posts.

This is France’s third World Cup final appearance in the last six tournaments after their first Win against Brazil in 1998 finals.
