Thanks for the reply, I will be glad if there is any Quranic back up to this, simply because human way of reasoning as find its way into religion, obviously the two common religion in Nigeria believe Sex is a no no while fasting.

Why is it that sex is a taboo during the noon of fasting?

I mean why is it not allowed for legally married couple to engage in sex during fasting, God created sex for couples, sex is not a sin, sex is not satanic and also. Fasting is a medical terminology meaning abstinence from all kind of food, water or all consumables for at least 8 hours. Also, religiously fasting is seen as an holy things, so where did sex becomes something that can terminate fasting.

I don't have a solution per say, I observed that vacation, holiday outside your own house, even outside your state is very good to allow your kids to experience, in fact, let them see many better and beautiful life other people are living, let them see reason why they have to be better than you.
