If it's tourism you may find it difficult to get approval for emergency Appointment because before the embassy approve your emergency Appointment you have to attach document on the portal and the document can entail invitation letter .

As someone going for tourism who will send an invitation letter to you ? Not even an ordinary letter , the letter must state that you must go for the tourism by all means and that if you don't come it will affect him or her . So tourism doesn't work for emergency like that . Change to conference or seminar or medical.

B2 visa is for those wanting to enter the United States for Tourism, Visiting friends or relatives and Medical treatments (surgery , repatriation of corpse , burial ceremony etc).

The embassy responds to those going under medical quickly than any other types under B2.
