Did the test 11 am and got the result around 5pm same day... I'm currently onboard and about to take off from Paris CDG to Abj. Did the test on Thursday morning. pufframmy: WOW so how long do you get the result from cerballiance before you fly back? |

Safe flights, I come in tomorrow too... HRprof: Currently awaiting to board my flight at CDG Paris back to Nigeria. I suppose to come back yesterday but I was ask to get a PCR test a must before I board and because of that my flight was rescheduled today, I thought I don’t need it as it wasn’t required when I was coming here as I’m fully vaccinated, they said is Nigeria government policy not theirs. For those who are planning to return do your PCR test before you miss your flight. But according to what I hard by Monday 1st November Nigeria will stop requesting for it on arrival passengers |

Book accommodation for the duration of the whole stay... esdajo: Good evening everyone,
Assuming one is planning on spending 2 weeks in France, would it be okay to make a reservation for an accommodation for just 3 days for the visa application with the mindset that one could change accommodation upon discovering other better deals after getting the visa? Or must one book for the whole 2 weeks and use the booking to apply for the visa? Any suggestion please! |

When coming back to Naija, The test is 50 euros and its done at the Sheraton at that airport, terminal 2e, cerballiance is the name of the lab... Do your pcr, fill a form on the travel portal online n upload it,then make arrangements for day 7 test back home, then you are given a permit to fly... But before leaving nigeria, Google the government labs approved for the tests online. pufframmy: pls how much do u get to be tested for the PCR and which LAB do u use? |

When applying for a France visitor’s visa as a family unit, must everyone book separate appointments and fill separate visa forms? I mean, do I have to book separate appointments for my underage kids and fill separate visa forms for each and every one of them?
Your response would be appreciated. |

Hello house, I arrived France yesterday...
I arrived from abuja, I'm vaccinated but at the airport they kept on asking for covid test. Thank God I did it for doing sake. I used airfrance n they didn't need it but trust our nigerians with their own protocol
Other than that, smooth entrance... lol Weather is COLD. |

If you are fully vaccinated, I would advice you should just apply as a tourist, simple as that, no need to complicate your application. If you have all your required documents, just write a very convincing cover letter stating your reason including as a way of celebrating your birthday and enjoying the tourist attractions n French culture... make sure you get a Letter headed letter of introduction for your work place, leave letter that should say when you are on and off work, as in when you are expected to be back at work. Just show them you work. And ties you have here in nigeria. If you follow this platform, you can package this very well on your own, I know it helped me n I was successful with mine. For options, for someone who has been to spain, Spain is a beautiful place , this is my first time going to France but I hear its amazing, but if you have enough finance, u can do both, as schengen visa can take you to both places as along as you arrive at your primary place of application first. Happy birthday in advance Priceless200: Hey well done on your contributions here. You re doing so well. Thank you.
I'm planning a birthday getaway with some friends for next month.
Majority are first timers. But comfortably working, earning good monies, single and will surely come back.
How do you think is the best way to arrange our application pls.
An agent said we should each register a program according to our field of work and use it as a reason.
But me on the other hand is asking why can't we just apply normal as a group knowing no one in Europe just on a trip.
I'm confused.
By the way, Spain or France which should we do. Any is OK for us. |

The little I know... 1) there is a timeline to tourist/short stay application, you can get some informations on https://france-visas.gouv.fr/en_US/web/france-visas/visa-application-guidelines2) there is a place in the form, where she can state that she is being sponsored, by who n by what means. Then you can bring your statement of account, passport data page n etc. She will also state in a cover letter that you are sponsoring her and also a good reason as to why you are not going with them. You will also add a consent letter for your kids, and marriage certificate n along with the normal requirements 3) Somewhere on this thread, someone answered this, if you have time on your hands, you can read through September messages, someone posted the solution on here 4) In my experience, I just booked 3 tours from viator.com. someone gave me the idea on this platform too. Just made a reservation for 3 different tours and added them to my itinerary in the cover letter I wrote, mine was just 2weeks, so I didn't need to add much. 5) for non vaccinated travellers, yes... but then again you must have a pressing ground for travelling if you are not vaccinated. Only vaccinated people, can enter without the isolation or quarantine Hope this helps a little... esdajo: Good day everyone. Please, my wife and kids intend to visit France for the Christmas holidays for a period of 20 days and I have the following questions:
1. Can they apply now being first time travelers or are applications only opened to frequent travelers?
2. I am the one sponsoring the trip so I would like to know if I should transfer the fund to my wife's account or just write a cover letter explaining that I am one the financing the trip whilst including my wife's and I bank statements plus evidence of trading as I am a business person and shes a teacher?
3. How do I get valid itinerary and hotel reservations for the trip without paying for them? Any website where I can have all these done at once?
4. As for the requirement of "Reservation confirmation of an organised trip or any other document describing the planned programme", how do I prove this? Is reserving booked tours enough or I have to explain in detail what trips they intend to embark on during their stay?
5. Most importantly, is there a requirement of 10 days for quarantine upon landing in France?
Your answers would be greatly appreciated. |

Hello, I'm in same situation, I'm traveling on Tuesday, please when is the right time to take a covid test? Please. Please advice me on the right time to do the test of my flight is for Tuesday 7:45pm. I heard something about fully vaccinated people signing a sworn declaration, please can anyone clarify on that. Thank you HRprof: I am using Airfrance Airline and someone said I do not need it since I'm fully vaccinated they person travelled last month with same airline, I need more confirmation, I am confused |

Mummywifey: Calm down, it's not fight.
This is my fourth Schengen visa and I have never been bothered about validity of a ticket because it does not matter. This is thesame ticket I used and I got 6 months visa.
Y'all do what gives you peace, just like the guy I met at the visa application centre who paid 2.5 million naira to an agent for visa. Lool
I only shared an information that will make life easy for all those always asking questions everytime on how to get flight reservation. He asked a question and I answered him just like the way I assisted you with an information before your application and same way others have assisted me with information here.
BTW, Anyone who wants a flight itinerary for visa application can still contact wakanow and tell them what you want it for and they will do it free for you. Wakanow is one of the most trusted travel agents in Nigeria.
Peace out |

@cucumbar I will talk to the agent if you are still interested. Personally I would say, whatever makes u sleep well at night, if paying an agent 2 or 3k to help keep a flight reservation for you till d end of ur visa application makes you rest easy, by all means do it, its your money, what do you have to lose, 2k? Not 20k. But if doing it by yourself and submitting an application knowing ur flight reservation might not be valid at the time of decision making makes u rest easy and you are OK with that, then by all means please do it... After all, you can always change your travel plans after d visa has been granted, I'm sure they know that. We really do not know what the decision makers look out for in the end. You can have everything n still be refused, u can make mistakes n still be granted. But there is nothing wrong in making sure you did everything to the best of your knowledge and let God do the rest. Best of luck... Mummywifey: I have already told you what to do. It's like you have excess money, you can give me the money let me do it for you.....looooool .
Go to KLM, input your flight details, when it gets to the point of payment, do not pay, instead click on the button that says hold booking. KLM will send the ticket too your email, print your reservation. It's that easy.
The ticket does not need to be valid for any day or hour or minute. The embassy just wants to see a flight itinerary, that's all.
Nigerians like giving agents free money, maybe I will soon start my own travel company. |
