The little I know... 1) there is a timeline to tourist/short stay application, you can get some informations on https://france-visas.gouv.fr/en_US/web/france-visas/visa-application-guidelines 2) there is a place in the form, where she can state that she is being sponsored, by who n by what means. Then you can bring your statement of account, passport data page n etc. She will also state in a cover letter that you are sponsoring her and also a good reason as to why you are not going with them. You will also add a consent letter for your kids, and marriage certificate n along with the normal requirements 3) Somewhere on this thread, someone answered this, if you have time on your hands, you can read through September messages, someone posted the solution on here 4) In my experience, I just booked 3 tours from viator.com. someone gave me the idea on this platform too. Just made a reservation for 3 different tours and added them to my itinerary in the cover letter I wrote, mine was just 2weeks, so I didn't need to add much. 5) for non vaccinated travellers, yes... but then again you must have a pressing ground for travelling if you are not vaccinated. Only vaccinated people, can enter without the isolation or quarantine Hope this helps a little... esdajo: 1 Like |

Hello, I'm in same situation, I'm traveling on Tuesday, please when is the right time to take a covid test? Please. Tho I'm fully vaccinated but based on general requirements, and to be on the safe side, I will rather do test and not need it, than need it and not have it. To avoid stories that touch. Lol. Please advice me on the right time to do the test of my flight is for Tuesday 7:45pm. I heard something about fully vaccinated people signing a sworn declaration, please can anyone clarify on that. Thank you HRprof: |

@cucumbar I will talk to the agent if you are still interested. Personally I would say, whatever makes u sleep well at night, if paying an agent 2 or 3k to help keep a flight reservation for you till d end of ur visa application makes you rest easy, by all means do it, its your money, what do you have to lose, 2k? Not 20k. But if doing it by yourself and submitting an application knowing ur flight reservation might not be valid at the time of decision making makes u rest easy and you are OK with that, then by all means please do it... After all, you can always change your travel plans after d visa has been granted, I'm sure they know that. We really do not know what the decision makers look out for in the end. You can have everything n still be refused, u can make mistakes n still be granted. But there is nothing wrong in making sure you did everything to the best of your knowledge and let God do the rest. Best of luck... Mummywifey: |

Keep it simple. Define what you are going for and apply accordingly... Don't complicate it... afembaba: |

Hello, please I need a candid opinion, I have my appointment next week and in my mind I feel I have the documents required, I'm married but I'm sponsoring myself and I'm travelling with 2 of my kids. I have a good job. My husband is currently on domestic travel for work purposes so he won't be available for d trip. The documents I plan to submit - filled forms -id card - travel insurance from axa - flight reservations and hotel reservations from booking. Com, they didn't charge me any deposit just my debit card info. - 3 months bank statement of 4m closing statement and payslips - cover letter, itinerary n 3 booked tour packages -Employment details -birth certificates, marriage certificate, consent letter from hubby ,family pictures, introduction letter from my kids school. -copy of previous visas- UK, Spain, India, uae -vaccination card (don't know if it's necessary but I included it) It's for a short stay tourist visa Please and please, what are my chances, any missing documents? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance Alexie89: |

On this same question, the forms for the kids, who signs them? Kids below 18. Is it signed by one parent or both parents? And if they are travelling with only one parent, what are the requirements, please and thank you. josephb: |

The last time I went there, they didn't allow me in because I didn't have an appointment, so I told them it was for inquiries, they asked to see my passport. So my take, I don't think you can walk in without appointment. This happened to me too, tho not summit,I wanted to travel in September, so I filled forms in July and the earliest appointment date they had as at July was in September. So I had to cancel everything and shifted my travel to October n booked the September appointment date. But if its that urgent, check out Lagos state, they usually have more flexible dates... toludestin: |

Hello, please I have a question, when applying for tourism with kids, I want to take them to disneyland, do I have to buy the tickets? As in include it in my application when writing a cover letter? Because on Disney site, you pay for the tickets straight, no booking and paying later, I can't buy a ticket when visa is not guaranteed... or should I leave it out? How do I write my planned itinerary for our stay? pufframmy: |

Lizzer: The will give you dates based on availability. I realised in my recent search that if you are in lagos, u can get dates in August, but if u are in abuja, the earliest dates are in September. No idea why but I'm guessing because of covid they are accepting certain number per day. So if you are in lagos, u can try, you might get the dates but the longer you wait the farther the dates change |
