My source told me access bank considers applicants from all federal universities, few private universities, and only LASU as state uni.
Did your source say at what point we(state uni grads) would be dropped?

I'm currently waiting for an invite for the final interview.

Its like dey re discriminating, cos I graduated from Lautech(state university), I had my final interview on 29th nd d mail I was sent as feedback which doesn't look like either success or regret mail. "Tanks 4 taking part in d interview, it was discovered dat ur current attributes doesn't match wit wat d bank wants at d moment, we re constrained to inform u dat we can't proceed wit ur recruitment process, however, ur resume is added to our database 4 candidates to b re-invited at future dat when vacancies exist dat meet ur impressive experience nd skills". So painfull bt very hopeful
Hopeful about what? Egbon, Access bank is done with you. They've rejected you. Hope you know that?

Graduated from a state university also. Everyone has been beating their chest that Access bank does not accept state university graduates except those from a well to-do background.

I still have final interview to go through and seriously, my hopes have been dampened a long long time ago.

Take heart bro, better jobs ahead.

Please, I need to be told once and for all.

Do Access bank employ State University graduates?

Someone should just tell me now cos I received a success mail after my panel interview on Tuesday.

When am I likely getting dropped? Would I make it to training school?

I'm not from a rich background, I don't have god-fathers, I'm don't have a marketing background, I don't have any job experience, I made a 2:1 in Banking and Finance, and my dress sense is way too masculine for a lady.

I just need to know if anyone has any idea whether Access bank actually recruit graduates from State Universities.

PhonesRe: Why You Should Always Shut Down Your Phone Before Removing The Battery by AlexisM16: 12:53am On Jan 04, 2016
Goldenboy007:
On the contrary ..pulling out your battery at least once in 1 to 2 weeks is advised.
I quote from a forum -

Battery pull -

- reset the memory to zero when the battery comes out.
- when the battery goes back in, the OS starts up cleanly and with all its modules neatly lined up.

As you use the phone, it runs programs and scripts and it shoves stuff into memory. Often these pre-allocate how much memory they think they will need. When the program finishes, it often does not de-allocate the memory so that the memory is now fragmented and other jobs cannot find coniguous memory in which to run. This ultimately results in a decreasing amount of memory and the end game is that the OS will start deleting non-essential stuff (to it) like your emails or call-log.

If you do a battery pull, keep it out for 30 secs to let the whole system die, and then check Options, Status immediately the OS has finished booting you will see that the File Free has a number. This is your treu free memory number.

End of quote.

I use a Samsung 5 from t-mobile and It's linked to a system that monitors the performance, sometimes the system gives me a notification to do a hard reset on the phone by pulling the battery when the phone is on.

My advice is - you can pull battery but just don't overdo things.
Clearly, our uninformed OP hasn't heard or read or come across the folder called 'LOST.DIR' on android and latest bb OS10.

This is where ongoing software programs are saved for recovery in case a process is abruptly terminated (e.g pulling out battery or device disassembling by hitting the ground by accident). It is like a backup for unfinished programs on your device.

OP, please get acquainted with the current best practices. Provision has been made to store and recover files and programs abruptly stopped or terminated by accident; what's more? The device stores and saves everything you were doing on its own, doesn't need your help, it knows the device has stopped working and process/program has been terminated without finishing.

'Lost.dir' folder is found on every android and tablet and modern OS of blackberry phones, so we have nothing to worry about. Just restart your device, go to file manager and click on "lost.dir" to continue with the process or upgrade or whatever it is you were doing.

I'm sure most people here never knew the usefulness of LOST.DIR... It's a directory folder. Google is your friend.

What the heck do they mean by 3k delivery charge for a lenovo phone? I'll keep trying though, their site seems to be crashing every 10 seconds. This is so fcked up! And Jumia doesn't ship to my location! We still have tomorrow, if not, I'll save this heart attack for something better and purchase at normal price by Monday.

AND I CANT FIND MY FREE COUPON ANYMORE ON KONGA!!! I HAVEN'T USED IT. IS THIS A JOKE? KONGA!!!

What is recruitment turning into these days?
After tailoring my CV to suit the multinationlas and all formal settings, UK style, an Access bank recruiter calls someone who recommended me to him(HR) and asked him why my CV doesn't have date of birth, gender, local govt of origin and religion on it?

I thought what everyone say is that nobody cares about what state I'm from or how tall I was?

If Delloite(hope I spelt it right) can ask someone to go get her Certificate of origin during recruitment, then I shouldn't get angry at the Access bank HM that asked for unnecessary personal data on my CV, should I?
