PLEASE ALL PCM'S ENROUNTE NORTH TREAT AS URGENT

I just received a distress call from a friend currently serving in kaduna
The crisis there is intensified and all roads leading to Kaduna and it's environs are blocked
So PCM's heading north are advised to stay at Abuja or any where closer atleast till WEDNESDAY
currently now there is a 24 hrs curfew impose by the governor!
Kaduna Pcm's take note please!!!

Tips for PCM's who might be Traveling Long Distances Across the Country for NYSC Orientation Camp
As we look forward to the Batch C orientation camp set to commence soon, here are some tips for PCM's who might be posted across the length and breath of the country
1 Book On Time
It is advisable when once you print out your callup letter next thing is to book esp for those who might be traveling far so you can get a good seating position too!
2 Pray and leave Early
Make sure you say your prayers first before leaving very early for the first bus. First buses are always good and sound and this will help you reach camp on time. Ask people who have travel with ABC, CALCULUX, GIGM,AKTC,CROSS COUNTRY etc you ll understand why you need to use the first bus
3 Clear your bowels
So your leaving home and you must taste the last meal to the fullest??
Please for the sake of bowel irritation due the bad roads of Nigeria make sure you empty your bowels before leaving they ll be stops along the road for you to eat.
4 Make sure you carry a Supplementary Phone e.g Nokia touchlight
I remember once I was traveling with a PCM in the bus to Abuja,half way to the journey his android phone went off unfortunately we enter Abuja late had to lend him my phone to make calls.The family you left behind will be dieing to hear from you so make sure you make provision for a supplementary phone alongside your Mtn, Airtel, Glo and 9mobile Sims available for areas where any of the network is not available!
So it's advisable you travel with a 2nd phone .
5 Ask Questions
Dont just be that boring journey mate forming you know all. Ask questions.Each stops and checks ask questions esp if your going to a state you ve never been to before .most NYSC orientation camps are not within the town where those bus service have their parks except that particular bus is meant for PCM alone like what peace mass,AKTC used to do each time orientation camp commences they dedicate busses to carry just PCM's across the country straight to their orientation camps at affordable rates too but if incase you don't join such a bus Hello Sister drop your novel!Hello brother Drop your Headphones and Converse!
One thing have noticed is that people traveling outside their residential state like forming Esp the babes!
Please this is no time to form atleast try to converse with someone in the bus let the person know your a PCM going to NYSC orientation camp esp for those who might be traveling up North and can't speak Hausa!!!Nigerians across the country are friendly and harmless it all depends on your manner of approach
7 Carry a light luggage for Easy Movement
It is camp your going for and not the service itself.Camp is 21days while service is 344days.Dont carry a luggage that is meant for 344days experience for just 21days.Make sure your luggage is reduced to the minimum for easy movement when you drop at your destination
8 Relax it is not compulsory you must enter Camp that same day you arrived
For most people who might be traveling far e.g Calabar to Sokoto,Adamawa to Ogun state etc your bound to arrive late no two ways about it,you might arrive 11pm or 1am be prepared for it.Incase you do arrive late either sleep over at the bus transit park or find the nearest guest house to lodge, relax,sleep well then as early as 6am you can leave to camp looking fresh and clean!
9 Footwear
It is camp your going to and not a birthday party.please enjoy you wear a footwear that is simple and free!Dont wear a shoe that will be so tight that you ll be uncomfortable all through the journey.Pama,sandals
10 watching your spending rate
Don't get cut up with buying everything you see on the road

Going to camp on Thursday is same thing as going on Tuesday only difference is u ll get a bad space and bed and won't partake in opening ceremony ]

Gud morning pple, so I got posted to Benue state and it says on my call up letter to report in camp on Tuesday, it will b difficult to travel on such short notice since I will b getting my statement of result on that same day, so how many days do I av 2 show up at camp??.......pls I need an honest reply asap

Although I must confess I really don't know what to expect in Nasarawa but am open minded towards it

Heard a lot about the state I guess its where I really wanted s safe place in the north wer people from South, east and west converge !!!!

At this point I became so emotional!
Yesterday evening I bided farewell to the students of the evening school I have been teaching for free!
You see one thing I have also learnt been a PCM is that we should use the year you stay been a busy to volunteer your services for the greater good tomorrow!!
During the past few months I have Been teaching students in a near by evening school for free!!

Yesterday seeing the smiles on the faces of this students almost brought tears to my eyes.
If your a PCM reading this I want to encourage you to don't just seat at home waiting for when you ll go for service go out there find something to do volunteer your services learn a skill etc!!

Tomorrow I await my callup letter finally after all the waiting!
Well am confident God will direct my steps to the right place
Meanwhile let me return to the 3day fasting have embarked on.
Pray for me too to get a good place
I know God never fails His own.
He ll never fail you!!

If camp opens on 23, you're to collect your certificate on 21/22.
Just keep your money and clearance slips ready.

But this tradition Unical is doing is bad! What stops them from giving us today

2,400 corpers expected in Ondo for Batch ‘C’ Orientation Camp –NYSC

The National Youth Service Corps in Ondo State says 2,400 corps members are expected in Ondo State for the 2018 Batch ‘C’ orientation course.

Mrs Christy Olatoye, the Assistant Director, Press and Public Relations Unit, NYSC in the state, made this known on Wednesday in Akure.

Olatoye said that the programme would begin on October 23 and end on November 12 at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ikare-Akoko.

“The formal opening and swearing-in ceremony will take place on October 25 at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Ikare-Akoko and will be presided over by Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,” she said.

Olatoye advised employers to quickly send their letters of request for corps members as soon as possible.

Main Point: 23rd is the date, Tuesday is the day, NYSC Orientation Camp is the scheduled program, PCMs are the participants, Latest Otondo/White Fowl is what we gonna be tag as. Friday (Tomorrow) still remain the commencement of call up letter distribution/printing.

Let the preparation continue. Let's prepared mentally, financially and physically for the task ahead.

If you receive callup letter on time go your faculty go show pay 3.5k and collect it
