ABN TV boss charges students on enterprenuership as he bags community development award

The executive director, ABN TV, Ifeanyi Okali has advised students of higher institution to focus on self employment as a way of securing their future and generate employment for others.

He also said creativity is the key to surviving in the challenging labour environment the country is facing.

The media practitioner made this known on Sunday while receiving the award of community development from National Association of Ohafia Students, NAOS at Ebem in Ohafia local government area of Abia state.

He disclosed that era of white collar job is gradually fizzling away as a result of the saturated labour market across the country.

Okali revealed that though education is critical to self development, it is not enough to assure people of brighter future.

According to him, following area of one's passion with creativity and commitment will help in building people and not necessarily their academic discipline.

Using Okali as an instance, one of the participants at the event, Okafor Ndukwe advised the students to make use of their youthful age and indulge in gainful adventures and stay away from crime.

The chanting of 'ABN we know' rented the air when he mounted the stage to receive his award.

The students expressed happiness with the virility of ABN TV at disseminating information from within Abia and the country at large, maintaining that the platform has been veritable in bringing information to their doorstep.

Okali promised that ABN TV will stream live the subsequent editions of the NAOS award, assuring them that he will do everything possible within his limit to support them.

The highlight of the event was quiz competition about ABN TV.

Winners were rewarded with cash prizes of N5,000 each, ABN TV branded fez caps and t-shirts.

ABN TV has since commencement of operation in 2014 amplified the voices of rural communities especially as it affects their development and growth for appropriate authorities to take needed actions.

Bayelsa-born Nollywood Actor Completes brand New house in yenagoa.

Elaweremi P. Elaweremi, Bayelsa-born Nollywood actor popularly called the king of Nollywood has completed a brand new super furnished house with a store in front of it in state, Bayelsa.

The actor is one of the leading actors in the Nigeria movie scene with his extra-ordinary character as 'King' in various movie set across the country.

The house is fitted with exquisite state-of-the-art finishing dotted with a mark of royal splendour and grandeur to his guests especially as against his rising profile in the movie industry.

The WHC President used the opportunity to encourage people to always contribute to the development of the society especially, through support to humanitarian missions that provide aids and restore complete feeling of self-worth; recognizing that Humanitarian service is an act of passion and genuine Love towards people of lower class or less privileged, which is geared in putting smiles in their faces and bringing hopes to them.

Interestingly, the event witnessed the Official Crowning of the African Union Queen hereinafter referred to as Miss African Union –the Unity Queen of Africa, in the person of Queen Judith Odini –“MISS UNITY
AFRICA 2019 | 2020”.

The newly crowned Miss Unity Africa, –Queen Judith Odini thank World Humanity Commission for discovering her. “As the African Unity Ambassador, I would like express gratitude to World Humanity Commission for providing me with the platform to promote the Unity of Africa whilst contributing to the sustainable development hence, I will forever cherish this Crown, and shall professionally articulate my motivation and logic for pursuing a vision of the African CHILD Projects through innovative programs. Miss Humanitarian Nigeria, Queen Rachel Eraikhuemen Marks Xmas With Orphans, Less Privileged Persons In Abuja

As part of the celebration of Christmas, Her Majesty, Queen Rachel Eraikhuemen, 2019 Miss Humanitarian Nigeria has been joined by Executives of Miss Humanitarian Nigeria organization as they reach out to communities across Gwagwalada areas Council in Abuja. The outreach was abreast with extensions of love, care and other provisional relief aids for orphans, less privileged persons and children.

The Christmas outreach activities was specially organized by the office of Miss Humanitarian Nigeria 2019 in view of her vision to support children, encourage hope and provide reasons for love and care. Speaking to newsmen during the outreach, Queen Rachel expressed joy over the happiness she noticed on the faces of motherless children and other beneficiaries of the Christmas reachout initiative.

Queen Rachel is passionate about children and the need to ensure that interventions are initiated to support less privileged persons across Nigeria. However, the Miss Humanitarian Nigeria Agency is one of the few pageant organizations that is solely dedicate to the service for humanity.

As a Non Governmental Institution, MHN pursues the mission of empowerment, assistance of orphans and vulnerable children through provisional supports in areas of quality education, nutrition and health, so as to enable fervent developments across Nigeria, especially in the humanitarian sector.

Miss Humanitarian Nigeria Agency through its President also extended gratifications to everyone who supported and made out time to be part of the Xmas Outreach Program for orphans, children and less privileged persons in Gwagwalada, Abuja.
