Business › Re: How Much Is Needed To Start Up A Gas Refilling Business? by alfajohn: 7:17am On Jun 07 |
IDERAWOLE: It depends on the scale or size of business you're planning to embark upon. However, take note of this:
Setting up a gas skid refilling plant is a highly viable business venture in the current economic climate. The demand for LPG is strong and growing, and the skid model offers an efficient path to market for entrepreneurs with medium-scale capital. With meticulous planning, strict adherence to safety regulations, and a customer-focused approach, this business is well-positioned to generate consistent, long-term profits and strong returns on investment.
So, I can give you a detailed set-up plan if indicate what size your looking at.
For a gas skid, you'll be looking at a capital of #5m. If it's just a shop size, it's going to be far less than this. You can have a detailed plan including returns on the business and how fast you can recover your investment. How far less for the shop |

In I didn’t watch the video but I think what the commissioner is against is telling the students to come to school on a public holiday and punishing them for being late on an official non school day. Before you argue that it is a private school know that government license all private schools and you sign to abide by specific rules and regulations. I may think that before it escalated to this maybe the school has been previously warned to desist from such acts and it turned a deaf ear. |

donkarly: She's an adult and was disciplined as one. No law says a parent shall be punished for punishing one's daughter for an offence Truthfully cannot relate with want majority are saying that the father is punishing his daughter. No adult has the legal right to beat another adult irrespective of the fact that you are the parent. Thankfully the man has been arrested and the law will take its course. You can only advise an adult you can’t compel anyone to follow your ways. |

I have MMF with Stanbic and a savings account with substantial transactions I applied for mastercard and they said they don’t give master card on naira accounts. All my other accounts namely Fcmb Wema and Uba gave me mastercard on naira account and the transaction on those accounts can’t be compared with the Stanbic bank. Seriously this has to stop |

Mankind2024: Impossibility cannot become possibility. Heightened self-awareness and the deteriorating security situation in our environment make it necessary to leave no trace, nothing that could be used to identify or locate me, even by agencies like the CIA or FBI. I remain anonymous under the identity “Mankind2024 ” Over time, I’ve used several aliases, most of which have been deleted; this is the only one I currently recall. Beyond that, I have no secondary identity. Anonymity plus faceless forum is, in my view, the safest way to share information without exposing oneself to risks such as cyber threats or online exploitation. Sorry to burst your bubble. You are not invisible to CIA and FBI. Even Nigerian DSS will fish you out in a jiffy. You registered the moniker with an email address you are using a phone with internet connection to access the website and you think you are invisible. Dupeodus: I totally agree with you on this one. What UBA management did is a serious breach of fiduciary duty that creates significant trust issues. You know of the CBN directive to treat 100% of insider loan as non performing. You did not only fail to recover such loans from insiders, you failed to reflect cbn's directives in your quarterly financial and did not issue warning to investors. If not for the slow pace of the judiciary in Nigeria, UBA should be facing a class action law suits from it's shareholders. I am still hoping that a smart lawyer will initiate this. I looked at Zenith on the other hand. Zenith provided for a total of ₦1.5 trillions in loans between 2024 and 2025. My guess is that a significant portion of this is insider loans that are still performing. If this is true, then Zenith has significant reserves that can still be written on to profit in future. For the year ended December 2025 zenith bank impairment charge was 741billion naira but for 4th quarter of same year it was positive 41 billion written back to profit. It collaborates your stance that any recovery from the 741 billion is to be charged directly to profit. I expect this to continue for the 1st quarter of 2026 if recovery Is significant it will positively impact on eps and all those waiting for zenith bank at 90 naira will wait in vain. Not in any way acting as an investment adviser. |

gabscity: Sir, even in a private estate I live here in Lagos, Solar Panels are not allowed, not sure why though, but this is the estate rule, if you are not comfortable with it, you have to move out, simple. Tenants will put solar panels and when leaving in the process of removing the panels will destroy your roof. After all they won’t be there to clean up the mess. I for one will not allow anyone put solar panels on my property if you must we agree to amortise and it becomes mine, if you leave before the cost is extinguished will continue to pay you as long as the premises is occupied. |

Sunrisepebble: That would be a generational buying opportunity. I’m not a bank analyst, so forgive my rough math. Assuming Zenith have exited their forbearance as at FY25, the way GT had in FY24. If they have GT’s level of impairment in FY26 and assuming earnings are flat and payout ratio is also flat. You’re looking at an EPS of N39 and a DPS of N15+ I looked at zenith 2025 FS and saw impairment charges of 741B this spurned me to check impairment charges for GTB which turned out to be 66B. So like you said if zenith bank can manage it’s impairment charges it will return a much better result than GTB. The question is can they. The impairment charges for 2024 is about 660B so it has been consistently high. This brings us to the issue of corporate governance that has consistently plagued Zenith bank and is the reason GTB share is always priced above it. Losing more than half of your profits to bad debts is a cause for concern. Is it insider trading, abuse of due process or lack of diligence. To be upfront I have substantial zenith bank share and zero GTB shares |

mikeapollo: To me, the potential is second only to SEPLAT. If they can tidy up the accounts and are able to attract enough capital to clear the debts, Oando can easily clock N200 and even N500+ in few more years. The power plant itself can be ramped up to full capacity to create more value and money for investors Don’t be a man of little faith. The potential upside in a few years will surpass your expectations. |
