Brother it is possible I got a job in a FGN grade A parastatal without knowing any human being. The truth is you have to be connected to the master of the universe through whom all things are possible. When I got to Abuja for the interview my friends told me it is practically impossible to get a directorate level job without connect connnect but God made it possible. The person earmarked for the job became unemployable by his power.

Am just looking at tb vs trucking (oil and gas ) I pick particular interest in one truck(814) coupled for 10.5m in Dec 2018 started work in January...it has generate 4.4 m from January to may 30 after all expense and repairs (net income )that 880k per months while tb would have generate around 120k permonth ...at this rate it will take t.b around 6 years to achieve 100 percent return if rate remain same while Max 2 years to achieve 120 percent in the later...my inquisitivness is a s a result of why the likes of dangote,otedelo other don't just liquidate their asset and dump in t.b and stop work and play Golf ......i suspect this might be the answer....may be some one should have different classes of income generating asset....

Good analysis but will be interested in having the analysis of your complete fleet. Am sure the law of averages will step in and it won’t be that rosy

done some extrapolation, if your investment is less than 32 million it is on the high side compared to stanbic ibtc rates. 24 million investment in NTB secondary market will cost you 12600 in fees at stanbic ibtc. Can’t really say if the fees are different for primary market.

I saw some people here say they were given by Gtb at 14.8% yesterday for 364 days.My question is do banks differ in rate they give their customers?? How come Gtb gave 14.8% for 364 yesterday and today UBA gave me 14.65% for 363 days?

you are lucky to get 14.65% for 363 days for secondary market. Stanbic ibtc just gave me 14.25 for 356 days. To think that I moved the bulk of the money from uba to stanbic is not interesting to me at all

Can someone kindly educate me as to how one can buy directly from the secondary market. The rates the banks are giving are lower than the actual rates available at the secondary market if in doubt you can check fmdqotc.com. That site is the official platform for secondary market trading. The bank rates are less by between.07/.05%. If you are doing a high volume transaction that amounts to a tidy sum of cash.

To the decerning it was obvious that it was a cheap political statement and a ploy to siphon money. The newest refinery in Nigeria is the new port harcourt refinery that was commissioned in 1989. The life span of a process plant is 25 years of good maintenance. Our newest plant is 29 years. Oldest which is old port Harcourt refinery is over 50 years Warri refinery is 40 years all of very bad maintenance regime. So trying to revamp these scraps is an exercise in futility.

Don’t mind those hungry road safety guys. What the laws says when I stumbled on it at their website is driving without windscreen or a shattered windscreen. Their is a whole lot of difference between cracked and shattered windscreen. So I have armed myself with it. Am a frequent traveller and have a cracked windscreen. So I will advise you do same. They may likely stop you, but if you produce that document they will definitely let you go. It is from their website and it list all the offences and fines.
