What's the difference between an agnostic and atheist?

An agnostic is like a former smoker who wants to quit smoking but still clings to nicotine products like patches, gums, electronic sigs etc. An atheist has quit smoking and all nicotine products entirely.

PS: nicotine products help in quitting smoking, so no problem with agnostics. They're on the right track.
