Watermelon thrives in arid climate that's why it's easy to plant and have good yield in the north. if you are in the north u can try it and send ur produce to d South for good profit.

you can never run at a loss in yam farm if the farm is well cultivate. I just finish weeding mine recently and have done the staking, i was able to cultivate 700 heap single handedly from october till this time. It took me that long because i do go to work.

I reside in benin city. Am planning to invest a hundred thousand naira on water melon farm during the month of march this year, but I dont want to be move by mouth watering post i see on the net by nigeria bloggers. So water melon farmers share your experience. Is it as lucreative as it is claim, would it be a breaking point for any one who endures in it this year out of the reccession? and what are yur takes on the plans. What do you have to say on the crop in particular.

it seems you are planting yam for the first time i quess. Am into this yam stuff and i will tell you the truth about it. Is very imposible to harvest yam twice a year using the same seed from previous harvest. If you plant oct_nov, your harvest will be aug of the following year. Am talking from experience because am a yam farmer, but am switching to water melon because the work in yam farm is very tidious. If you plant 1000 heap, not all wil germinate, some wont produce well giving you small size, some of the heap will produce seed yam, while some will produce big tubas. To be precise if your yam hit the market from july, august, you are assured to sell your yam at a give away price because of yam supplusity at that time. So this your assumption of twice havest and a milion naire return, let yur chik hash first

Not all of them who is not marraid in their tirthies have pride or bad charracter. At times it can be as a result of men scarcity (fewer men). Compare to thos day where men could marry two to three wives. Most of this women are victim of circumstance, that is they hard bad relationship in their twenthies.

There is something called circumstances . I have had two long term relationship that ended up wasting my time so sometimes its go you don't go assuming what you don't know about people.
