My friend's wife got the job with bsc and did her pop late last year in kaduna. The salary was reviewed and a bsc goes home with around 400k per month. So yes kkkp is right |
Whether you are from the south or from the north. Second class upper is still second class upper, third class is still third class. There is federal character in every Credit Division and students are withdrawn in all universities whether in the North or in the South. So let's move on to more important issues please |
Badema: First of all, Nigerians, graduates of Nigerian universities and all those that understand ordinary Nigerian behaviour understand the academic concept of "BACK TO SENDER" and this implies that once NNPC has written on their legal website that HYSON and DUKE OIL are subsidiaries of NNPC, then they are Subsidiaries of NNPC whether they really are or not. Therefore any one that thinks otherwise better be ready to prove it beyond doubt if asked while increasing the risks of failing the interview. |
ah ha... that is right... I also got the invite. I am Kaduna based |
afunmmy: They just sent me an invite to come for interview on 4th nov 2014. Did anyone else got the mail. if anyone on this tread got the mail and he/she is thinking of going, the person should let hookup because am thinking of going if I see someone to tag along with. WOW!!! Is it federal university Gusau that sent you an invite ?? |
Is the professional test a paper based test or what. Please enlighten me. Thanks yes it is a paper based test... which covers questions based on the particular job role u applied for.. |
it is definitely shl....verbal analysis first then numerical analysis.. it is not a CBT test....BT men d time given is small.. if u applied for a professional position then prepare yourself for a two hour test based on your professional knowledge and experience.. good luck |
Ameen.. Thanks and same to you bro |
yes I have a BSc and was invited but not for the role of drilling cadet or purchasing officer |
applied for Contracts Engineer and was invited for the tests |
I got the invite too... |
Hello everyone , I was told by a friend who knew a director at NPA...he was informed that invitations will be out this week... It is only a rumour though but I have read comments here from others who are saying pretty much the same thing. In the end, time will reveal the true position of things |
Reiyvinn: SMH..... Well, I have given my advice... I will end my comments by repeating what my brother Ibrahim told u earlier... it has been said: يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِئُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ They desire to put out the light of Allah with their mouths but Allah will perfect His light, though the unbelievers may be averse. May the light of Allah shine upon you |
Reiyvinn: Hello Nairalanders,. And keep an open mind, without bias or hate when seeking knowledge. Hopefully, you will know the truth when you see it. |
Reiyvinn: Dude, to be honest with you, Lemme just break the ice.. Seek knowledge my guy, don't just read one book. Read a lot of books about islam and not just our holy prophet Muhammad (SAW), also read about other Prophets such as of Jesus (AS), Abraham (AS), Moses (AS), Isaac (AS), Adam (AS), Ishaq(AS), Lot (AS), David (AS), Noah (AS) etc. Seek knowledge about death, the day of reckoning etc from the view point of Islam and compare with other religions. Knowledge is vast!!!!! You can't possibly know it all but knowledge surely benefits |
Swiftboy: show me the knowledge now.. Unfortunately I can not show you what your heart doesn't desire. Seeking knowledge is the best left to you.. Cz in the end it is all about you, your convictions, your thoughts and your life. I hope you understand |
Swiftboy: Those guys really know how to represent Islam very well but Islam is too secretive to be the real religion to true God. I cant pick up quran and read as a random person. Then again, its full of rituals and mode of worships that is similar to paganism. I'll suggest you try to find the true God and what He really require from you.. Seek knowledge, Seek knowledge!! |
Reiyvinn: What if I'm interested in Islam, where do I spread my tents?. Seek knowledge about Islam... When you do, your questions will be answered. Pls don't confuse me, I don't mean learn about zakir naik or any human being but what I mean is seek knowledge about Islam the religion of peace with sincerity and open mind and if Allah wills, you will be guided[b] Reiyvinn: What if I'm interested in Islam, where do I spread my tents?. Reiyvinn: Hello Nairalanders,. Watch Huda tv on arab satellite or peace tv on dstv to learn about Islam. |
Sunnybobo3: The difference is that while Texas controls it's oil revenue, Bayelsa does not.. No oga, u missed the point, texas has great leaders at the helm of affairs and Bayelsa doesn't...Nigeria doesn't and USA has... |
Wow!! I must admit, if Bayelsans are happy with these infrastructural development then it shows just how much they have suffered through neglect by the govt. I sincerely hope the Nigerian govt will rise up to its obligations and provide world class infrastructural facilities for its people to the envy of the whole world. |
[quote author=Emusan]You, Muhammad & Allah seem to be confused. If not why would Allah says "If Christians believe in God and the last day they have reward with Allah"? if you believe in God and the last day and accept that prophet Muhammad SAW is a messenger of God, you are a muslim but Christians unfortunately do not.. This is simply because they believe Jesus AS is the son of God, meaning they atleast worship 2 gods, that is Jesus and God. Don't confuse yourself |
sakaguchi: Why only peaceful to christians? Couldn't he as the so called greatest prophet be peaceful to all of mankind? Is he being good to the christians because the protected him too after the hijrah? Now tell me. Did the prophet no know that his followers killed people simply because they don't believe in his message? Why did he not stop them. Let me tell you the truth, if Muhammed came today instead of 1600 years ago and said he's the greatest prophet ever, as an educated man, I'll want proof. That is the sensible thing for me to do. If he has no proof other than a book which anybody may have written and he shoves it to me as proof, I will laugh him the way I laught at GEJ and Bokoharo everyday. I'm not wrong. God gave other prophets e.g Elijah and Elisha and Moses bigger signs so he can park well. Prophet Isa (AS) or whom you refer to as Jesus came with miracles and a clear proof and how many people believed , Prophet Musa (Moses) came with a clear proof and miracles and how many people believed?? Certainly the truth can be said and it must not always come with miracles before you believe. The truth is the truth and Islam is a religion which means total submission to the will of God, One God and belief in the unseen, belief that Prophet Muhammad (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the last prophet, and also belief in the prophets that came before him and they include Jesus, Moses, Aaron, David, Lot, Adam etc. All the prophets came with the same message, submit your self to the will of God and worship only Him but how many have listened![]() |
Dede 1, I attended ABU zaria and i spent 8 years in samaru village. i wil tell u one thing; education means imparting knowledge right!!!! what kind of education would you give a man who has spent all his life living in a village and not knowing that government is supposed to take care of them. In samaru they dont even have Water authority pipes running in the soil not to talk of having drinking water. the people there dont even know that govt has a responsibility to take care of them but yet they see students driving cars they have never seen before and they also see tall luxurious aprtments being built for the students. Knowledge to them is what they see and understand!!!! what do they understand and what knowledge do they have ? that is the question. to me, the most educated people in these societies are the religeous leaders, politicians and tea/suya guys. therefore, if one crazy guy with a unique ideology comes along and convince them to do crazy things, they will do so based on their knowledge, understanding and perception of life as being unfair. they are a 100% different from u in terms of education and therefore it is impossible for you or me to comprehend their thoughts.i would love to meet one of this Boko haram followers and discuss bout his views and ideologies in order to try in my own way to set his perspectives straight. What ever it is that happened is not new in the north, we have had several groups that were squashed by the govt, they include the maitatsine and more recently the group that held kano seige last year. finally i feel these ideologies of violence are foreign and i think the govt should do something bout the borders especially those in the north which link to countries like chad, Niger, etc. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/af_nigeria_s_misery_analysis Analysis: Poverty, graft behind Nigeria violence Buzz up!33 votes Send Email IM Share Delicious Digg Facebook Fark Newsvine Reddit StumbleUpon Technorati Yahoo! Bookmarks Print Play Video Reuters – Nigeria death toll rises AP – In this image taken on Monday, July 27, 2009 in Maiduguri, Nigeria, bodies lie in the street in front … By MICHELLE FAUL, Associated Press Writer Michelle Faul, Associated Press Writer – Tue Jul 28, 1:34 pm ET JOHANNESBURG – Islamist militant attacks that killed scores in Nigeria this week appear to be abating, but Nigeria's woes show no sign of going away — and in fact are growing deeper. A country that should be rich on prodigious oil reserves is getting poorer by the day, Islamic radicals are seeking to impose a Taliban-style regime in the north, and Angola has surpassed Nigeria as Africa's biggest oil producer. The two-day outburst of violence is just the latest wave in a familiar cycle of bloodshed — and a sign that the corrupt government is unable or unwilling to confront the myriad problems that keep Africa's most populous nation mired in unfulfilled promise. At the heart of the radical Islamic insurgency that sparked this week's violence is dire poverty and political maneuvering — not religion. The attacks on police that have killed more than 80 people have been committed by frustrated, unemployed youths and orchestrated by religious leaders and politicians who manipulate them to retain power. "The outburst of violence is an explosion of pent up grievances, especially as hunger and unemployment create fertile grounds for unrest," political commentator Salisu Suleiman wrote in the new Nigerian newspaper NEXT. It's a similar situation to Nigeria's oil-rich delta, where attacks by militants demanding a greater share of the wealth their region produces have reduced oil output by a third — and led the way for Nigeria to lose its historic place as Africa's leading oil producer to Angola. The militants have carried out a string of devastating attacks on pipelines and other oil installations as well as kidnappings of petroleum company employees. When the oil militants attacked a fuel depot in Lagos, the economic capital — for the first time striking outside the delta — the government reacted by freeing a long-jailed leader of the movement and urging negotiations. But that fight likely will continue as long as the government fails to address decades-long grievances about the unrelenting poverty of the delta people. In the north, governments have done little over the years beyond commissioning reports after particularly bloody bouts of violence, never acting on them because those orchestrating the violence have links to well-placed members of the elite that has controlled successive governments. The foot soldiers are ill-educated manual workers who are easy to manipulate: one of the names of the radical sect behind the latest violence is "Boko Haram," which means "Western education is sin." It's one of the legacies of British colonization that never has been rectified. The colonizers ruled the north of Nigeria indirectly through sultans and caliphs. In the south, they governed directly and missionaries brought Western education. The gulf remains to this day. Corruption and inefficiency are blamed for the persisting poverty in Nigeria, the world's eighth-biggest oil exporter and fifth-largest source of U.S. oil imports. Some Nigerians were hopeful 10 years ago when decades of corrupt and brutal military rule ended, and again two years ago when they had the first handover of power from one civilian president to another. But both former President Olusegun Obasanjo and current President Umaru Yar'Adua have links to the powerful military — and that has helped perpetuate Nigeria's cycle of corruption. More than halfway through his term, Nigerians have lost hope in Yar'Adua's promises of reform, including a chaotic and corrupt electoral system that even Yar'Adua admitted left questions about whether he really won elections. Like previous Nigerian governments, he has failed to deliver even basic services like piped water, electricity and health care. His pledge to fight corruption remains unfulfilled, with state governors charged with stealing millions of dollars still on the loose. Many are asking whether he, like his predecessors, is a prisoner of corrupt vested interests that helped propel him to power. ___ |
my friends, All i will say is dis, who ever this people are they are not muslims, altho they seem to be fyting for some reason but not for islam. islam urges muslims to seek for knowledege and therefore education is very necessary, the fact is do not use dis incidents to attack the religion just like i cant say the 9ja deltans who r predominantly christian have an aggressive and violent nature cuz they are christians. let me add this advice, dont use the actions of a minute number of the population to insult a religion which is the largest in africa http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_in_Africa |
Now thats the biase and hatred am talkin about, from the look of things u guys look set to burn a mosque!!!!! and u wonder how they think!!! just look at the way u r thinkin and how u behave u r no different from those that burn churches as well. |
to the so called "Naija King" in every state of the federation, we have street touts who are always waiting for an opportunity to start a riot in order to gain some unhealthy profit. it is as a result of the corruption of govt, the lack of education and poverty existing in our lands thats the cause of this problems. in lagos we have agberos, in kano (that u claim u spent some time in) they are called Kaura boys, in port harcourt am sure they have a name, they exist in all parts of the country. ALso in every state we have responsible people, those who practice true religeon and are educated enough to know the value of life and understand its meaning. the riots is not an issue of Islam or christianity, its an issue of the negligence and ignorant attitude of the govt towards its people. violence is the only way these touts can express their anger and frustration in the country finally just to clear ur views a little muslim exist every where and are not restricted to the north, i come from auchi and therefore not from the north so i am not speaking on behalf of the north even though most of my education took place in the north so please dont come here and say things u obviously know nothing about and blame it on biased view or simply hatred on a particular religeon which is Islam. Chat me up and i wil give a history of every thing including the violence in the middle east and including the history of civilizations which existed or are presently existing |
