Dils123: Please who said Nmdpra was hiring….because an ED just told me nothing of such is happening. And i went there with full confidence. Now next time i go i might get dismissed as carrier of fake news. Not happy. Nmdpra is planning to recruit but nothing has happened yet as far as my connect is concerned and he is in a position to know. But..... This is Nigeria!!!!!! There are levels to everything. So let me rephrase...At my own level, Nothing has happened yet at NMDPRA. I was equally adviced to warn others that there are incidences where fake letters have been circulated to lure people and scam them. So beware |

You mean we came down from heaven just to fight to enter heaven again. Very weird. Actually we didn't come down from heaven but our Ancestors Prophet Adam and his wife were sent down from heaven. Soooo we got to fight and pray to get in. |

Adexvivacity: Nothing matters here. Only death: disappearance, vanity and nothing like legacy because even if you make billions of dollars bfor going, it will only be useful for the living and the dead gets nothing. Life is indeed meaningless. Why will you say life is meaningless when you didn't create yourself, you didn't pick your mother or your father, you didn't pick your skin colour or your country. You can't even literally stop breathing cz you don't even control your body not can you control your heartbeat. You were brought into this world so the question is why did your Creator create you ? It is simple and it's so clear even your conscience reminds you. You are here to worship Your Creator... That's all there is to life. Life is nothing but a short test to see whether you deserve to enter Heaven or Hell. There is no in between. So your time is ticking and once it's gone your test is over. Soooo Worship God only and leave the life he wants you to live. Do the good He wants you to do and avoid the things He asked you not to do and then worship Him and only Him and testify that Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is His last prophet and messenger. Prophet Ishaq, Jesus, Ishmael, Moses, we're all messengers of Allah and they all came as Warner's to warn of a dreaded day... The Day of Judgement. So if you think your life is meaningless then it is time to change your perspective before your journey ends. Death will come for us all whether we are ready or not. Take heed!!!! |

preciousjewels: Growing up, I had one uncle everyone admired. He was full of life, always laughing, always and the center of attention at family gatherings. But a few years ago, things started changing… slowly. First, he was always tired. He would complain about “stress” even after a long night’s sleep. Then, he started drinking water like a fish—sometimes he would finish a whole 75cl bottle in minutes. He also woke up many times at night to urinate. We all teased him, saying “Uncle, na old age dey worry you.” But it was more than that. One day, he developed a small wound on his foot. We thought it was nothing serious—just a minor cut. But weeks passed, and it didn’t heal. Instead, it got worse. That was when the doctor finally diagnosed him with Type 2 Diabetes. We were shocked. None of us really understood what diabetes meant at the time. The doctor explained: “Diabetes is not just about sugar. If left unchecked, it damages the heart, kidneys, eyes, and even nerves in the feet. That’s why wounds don’t heal easily.” ________________________________________ The Harsh Reality We Faced My uncle had to start spending money on medications, regular checkups, and special diets. He could no longer eat freely like before. He had to stop drinking soft drinks, reduce fried foods, and start exercising—something he never used to do. At some point, he developed blurred vision, and the doctors warned him about possible kidney problems if his sugar wasn’t controlled. That was the day I realized that diabetes is not just a sickness for “oyinbo people” or rich men. It is right here in our homes, affecting fathers, mothers, uncles, and aunties. ________________________________________ The Silent Signs of Diabetes Looking back, all the warning signs were there: • Constant tiredness • Excessive thirst • Frequent urination (especially at night) • Slow-healing wound • Blurred vision We ignored them, thinking they were “normal” signs of getting older. As much as there are scammers ..I think we shld be careful how we tag people simply because they have slots to sell..with the way Nigeria is, ur right wld not be given to u except ur family member is in the hem of affairs.
If this said person is not in d government or a top politician, we shld knw he doesn't have the right to own a slot except they he is an agent for big shots nd makes a cut from selling it on their behalf..so how wld he give out a slot that isn't his, selling slot is a sin bt not different from ur daily regular sin we all commit..so take it easy with the name calling
Am not justifying slot selling bt for alot of ppl thats the only way they can get a stable job in this country, pls emotional intelligence is very important as we speak to people we dnt even see

So you gladly bring God into this and you think what you are doing is good. What you are doing by selling jobs is a crime against humanity. If you really want to go to heaven then help someone to get a job instead of selling it. How much will you gain? Will it be enough to get you into heaven. These are government jobs you are trying to sell. These jobs don't belong to you nor do you have the right to sell it. This is why I am calling you a scammer. The Nigeria project hasn't failed and not by a long shot and we are lucky but we are the ones doing wrong and then we try to justify it. Our leaders are exactly the same as us. The little I can do is not to engage in such and speak the truth wherever necessary. This practice is part of the things that will indeed harm our country. I mean how else will you explain a person buying a job to become a lecturer. What do you think that person will do in a job meant to train the future Nigerians The injustice we do to ourselves is exactly the same we complain about. So let the circle of deception continue. |

ulaeto: To be very sincere, I and my wife(the candidate) are very reluctant to call anyone reason being we don't have enough proofs to put forward. and as far as we can see, there's no proof to that here aswell. i believe if such should happened under this context it will be very difficult to hold onto the evidence as it will surely leak ether by candidates themselves, sponsors or the staff of the agency themselves. i also find it hard an offer letter could be given out in these agency without the traditional process and criterias including performing medicals on successful ones.
So in as much as we are agitated and prone to believe what we want to believe, we should also put on our thinking cap especially when there's no hard evidence to this rumour so far.
#LEK4SURE, your comments will be highly valuable at this point. Thank you Chairman, I also testify that some have collected their APL. I was reliably informed that the FCC candidates have also collected their APL. Those that collected were GTs. I don't have any other proof other than the info i am sharing. Please contact anyone who should know and you will get the same answer. I don't know what will happen to the EH component though. I also don't know if any EH has collected APL. |

The only thing i know for sure is that last month FCC submitted its very small list to NCDMB. I heard they prepared that list long ago and were only asked to submit it last month. So i thought the recruitment would have been concluded already and recently i confirmed from a friend at FCC that uptil now thse on the list have not been recruited. I dont know what is holding the recruitment.
I am not on that list and i have no influence both at FCC and NCDMB and i am an advocate of getting jobs without any influence since all the jobs i have gotten so far in govt were without connections and 100% merit based. My prayer is that NCDMB will recruit based on merit for the very first time since its inception. NCDMB is only agency i know so far that has given those without connections hope. |

adeakin777: While I share your optimism, truth is that this recruitment, if ever completed, cannot favour us all. I mean realistically, they cannot select everyone. That being said, I do opine that if this recruitment were to be completed within the timeline as given by FCC it will be skewed towards those with connections rather than merit. I mean, if you look at the work experiences of those currently with NCDMB via LinkedIn, there is no possible way the final selection will be based on a series of unsupervised test, UNLESS of course the selection will be based on connections and referrals. If at any point now this recruitment were to favour those on merit list, then interviews and selection has to be done before the end of June or an extended timeline given from FCC which is unlikely seeing that everyone is pretty preoccupied with their election agendas. For me, body language is everything. The way NCDMB conducted the recruitment indicates their interest in a merit based exercise. If it were to be entirely based on connections and referrals, they wouldn't have bothered to advertise or wait this long to conclude the recruitment. This is the first time NCDMB is advertising the recruitment exercise and this is not the normal way they have been recruiting since inception. This is why I have hope in this recruitment exercise. |

tolaade1960: Honestly, I don't know how I would have explained better since oilandgasjobs.com was advertised. I still stand to be corrected that . the advert was not genuine from NCDMB . NCDMB is a medium organised govt organization to delay recruiting for long , even bigger NNPC does take longer like that . .The agency' had denied the advert severally. . How would you do unsupervised online tests , upload credentials and to be employed like that. . What would NCDMB gain from hiding it's name from a public recruitments ?
My advise, with present technology disruption, develop skills , get certified in IT and earn big than govt jobs. Most agencies hide their recruitment these days. I mean that's the reason we are all in nairaland looking for info on the latest recruitment. I was actually shocked when NHIS invited people for interview via whatsapp. It was advertised and some thought it was a scam. Welcome to Nigeria where recruitment don't follow any format or process... Atleast NCDMB was kind enough to give out clues in a public and widely read newspaper and conducted two aptitude tests and thereby giving those without any connection hope!!! |

Stoker: It's actually perplexing how some make suggestions of some from the platform paying the ES a visit and make inquiries about the recruitment. First and foremost NCDMB was discreet about the recruitment, and never publicly acknowledged they were recruiting. We know it's NCDMB based on details of the advert and also evidenced by questions about it on the exams. Approaching the ES is already on a faulty premise, and as a professional he is he would play the game of anonymity to the end. He admitting it would allow open up the floodgates of interference. The only weapon at this point is to pray and remain optimistic.
