Big men get into a rhythm by getting rebounds and posting up. When they stop touching the ball and getting into their rhythm it tells on the offensive and eventually overall. These same arguments I made then.

When no member bla bla...so PG and Melo are also not taking the Bull by its horn now? Like I said, anyone can make excuses for Brodie. From he had scrubs to we can't blame him for everything. He is never at fault. But when he gets it right, it was all him.

Tualé.
So when the big men fail to get their layups and post ups,the team should be waiting for them till they get it. I was referring to last season about no one stepping up.

Never at fault?who gets the blame most when we are losing?

For now,the team generally is in crisis..thats all i can say
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by aliondo:
Eruditor:
I remember when I was saying all these things last season. People were telling me that if he did not average triple doubles his team would not win. Back then Kanter and Adams became scrubs.

Funny enough, he added 2 all stars and their win % is worse now than at this same time last season. But...But WestBrook was playing with scrubs then.

Good times.
Truth be told...Kanter and Adams lost form last season..Adams just rejuvenated back this season..

Westbrook has his faults which i criticise a lot but he can't be blamed for everything.

When no member of the team is ready to take the bull by the horn, someone has to step up and stepping up may be negative or positive.

I guess this was the video that made KD jump on the bandwagon..

Eruditor, remember when we were down 1-3 vs OKC in 2016? Were Klay Thompson saved our life. If only we knew Lebron actually had a reverse spell. cheesy cheesy

KD moved and the whole NBA had to reshuffle cheesy grin grin
KD is my best player but i have to admit KD also had a lacklustre performance..

Melo is your most clutch player. However there needs to be a deliberate system deployed by your coach where everybody is playing within the offense, that's why every win seems to be a mighty struggle with y'all while the Rockets can lose Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson yet still beat an over 500 team like Denver by almost 50 pts
Everyone knows Melo is supposed to be..Donlittle just confirmed it too but he's not been consistent this season (i.e talking about just 4th quarters alone)..

P.G has shown up more..

If i get you,are you saying the coach should deploy or try out more players rather than the usual suspects?
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 5:22pm On Nov 24, 2017
Donlittle:
P.G? you say P.G? The same P.G? Danny Granger is probably "clutcher" than him abeg
In OKC,at least thats the best we have for now..

Melo used to be clutch but he's not that consistent.
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 4:22pm On Nov 24, 2017
A40:
A loss is a loss tbh

The key is the offense still isn't clicking. You guys start well but always let teams back into the game and that's because your offense isn't dominant. Everybody is playing purely on talent alone for now
I think our offense is not clutch at the moment.
If you take a look at every team, they've got one or two clutch players.

Kyrie used to be the clutch player in CAVS and is now the clutch player in Celtics.
We can now see Lebron getting into that clutch mode in the absence of Kyrie.
Westbrook won clutch player of the season last year but we all know westbrook aint clutch enough. P.G is the most suitable clutch player in OKC. Though he didnt start the season well,he's currently playing like the P.G we know him to be.

In the last quarter,if Russ can handle the pressure and take less shots and distribute the ball more,we would be fine cos i noticed whenever he does that,we win instead of taking unlikely shots out of pressure.

These Warriors fans though. They sha won't take their L in peace grin. My word, that was one hell of a show from the boys. Everyone came to the party. No blown leads. If only we could play like this every night. Russ was clearly fired up for this one. I felt a bit sorry for KD though, even with everything the dude still has a place in my heart. The fans have every right to boo though, and it's going to take time before that wound heals.
Bro,i dont just understand..in all our arguements i never brought up K.D sef.

K.D was my best player in OKC and NBA then.i had just bought his jersey and the next week he went to GSW..would i now say because K.D went to GSW,i should now follow him to GSW?

I didnt believe in the win myself..was expecting us to call out players who performed and who did not?instead we are referring to refs calls...if we begin to talk about refs calls, everybody here will make case for his or her team..

You should go back to primary school if you have comprehension issues because I clearly stated OKC would've still won regardless or just stay mute if you think officiating has no influence in any sports let alone basketball Mr 4th quarter. Even after the video posted pointed it out where someone like Stephen A Smith had to air it out on national TV (Guess biggest KD hater was a Warriors personnel), even when others on here who clearly aren't warriors fans confirmed officiating issue but your massive ego wouldn't it. Great confidence booster for OKC however, the refs had nothing to lose making the right calls whether you won by 20 or blew the 4th quarter you're scared of.
na wa oh...all these insults for OKC win?

why cant we refer to the way the teams played?

i told eruditor that refs calls could either go in your favour or against you..so why make it a very big issue?i never said officiating does not influence games..maybe you should go back to the very first statement eruditor made.

Since i didnt go to school, pls what does his statement mean?

What is your fascination with this question?

OKC will not be the last team to beat GSW this season. How you choose to interpret the win by your team is your prerogative but you need to accept that the game was poorly ref'd.

Draymond cleanly swiped the ball off Carmelo's hands. There were some funny +1s Russell was getting that were just unnecessary.

All these things add up to bad refereeing if only one team (the home team) seems to be benefitting from it. Does not take anything away from the way your team played.

Cavs shot lights out in game 5 of the 2017 finals, I came here to say it, but I still did not deter from pointing out that the game was crazily officiated.

The facts are the facts my man. Stephen A Smith was right on this one.
Ok...yes...you won..the refs helped us win.

Also remember, when refs calls go in your favour...Come here and talk about it..

Can i now enjoy my W in peace?

Steven A Smith here speaks about the officiating, other fans confirm it. Most mad person about KD leaving OKC but y'all won't just accept it.. OKC whoop our ass but to say the refs didn't interfere is clearly hatred induced..

Aliondo you tried to speak smart. You tried. I can recall days ago when you had that losing streak on active and you went mad on here about the refs which was right. If an officiating is bad, it is bad whether it changes the outcome of the game or not. Refs should be held accountable. Watch the video if you're humble enough to..

Bro..i have never called out refs on this forum..i don't talk about refs..i care less.

I always talk about 4th quarters and our inability to close..

Are you trying to say the refs helped us win against you guys?

Lest i forget..whenever OKC loses a match..You're one of the first people to come and make jest of them...

Your argument would have made sense if his presence gave us an advantage. It did not and it was one of those toss ups. Iggy or Ezeli blocked KD in that game which was called for goal tending but replays showed it was not. Imagine me trying to claim that that play alone made GSW lose.

So understand the whole narrative. OKC should have won yesterday. They were clearly better. Lakers and Denver whooped GSW as well last season with all players fit. I can take Ls to sub 500 teams.

But when over the whole season of 18 games thus far, many games are marred by flagrantly bad calls some of which helped the opposing- beneficiaries win, I would complain. OKC does not fall under that category for now because they would have won otherwise.
Now..thats what i want to hear..

Case closed.

I respect what you are trying to do but this does not make sense for one reason; The game that Draymond was not suspended for, we still lost.

Also, notice I never said GSW were poorly ref'd in that game as well. Took the back to back Ls on your ground and prayed my team would recover which we did.

So I don't complain about all GSW losses.

I complained when we lost to Cavs by 1 because on the last play Richard Jefferson or whatever his face is fouled KD clearly and the refs did not call it.
oh it doesnt make sense now...Whether we won or lost,he should have been suspended..Its still a bad ref call...

Because of you,i will start looking out for bad ref calls..
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 10:55am On Nov 23, 2017
Eruditor:
So you have no evidence?

Case dismissed.
So you really want me to start digging up stats?

Let me even give you an example..

Remember the Green and Adams incident, where he kicked Adams in the groin twice and he was fined and not suspended..Almost everyone complained that he should have been suspended and not fined and remember because the refs didn't see it,so he could not be given an automatic ejection cos that was a flagrant 2 foul..

Should i now start saying if Green got the ejection and maybe got suspended,we would have won the tie...You and i know the effect of Green suspension on the Warriors team which you later saw the Cavs vs Gsw finals..

I cared less cos of the quality i had in my team in Russ and K.D...Instead i complained about Russ stupid turnovers and K.D's inability to get shots..

The only thing that got me annoyed was when Green kept insisting it was not intentional..
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 10:35am On Nov 23, 2017
Eruditor:
How many of your Ls are coming due to 45-22 FTs, 38-19 FTs? I am talking games in which your FG%, 3PT% are way better than the other team but they beat you simply because they went to the line more for fouls nobody can see?

If you can show me games were WestBrook fouled out for getting 4 ticky tacky fouls to add to 2 genuine ones, or where you squander 17 point leads to 13 FTs in one quarter maybe I can listen to you.

Abi are you talking about another under 500 OKC? The one we have seen this season have just about gotten what they played for including yesterday.

Telling us you won by a blowout is laughably consolatory because I have said times without number that OKC FULLY deserved their win but did not need the gaffes by the refs. Your response should really be that OKC did not con the refs into making those calls and I would have agreed and blamed the NBA - which I have been doing, not blaming individual teams.

Nobody remembers when you win inspite of bad refs? That is not true. Ask KDs mum why she kept saying "they tried to take it from them but they wouldn't have it" when GSW miraculously beat Cavs in game 3 of last season's playoffs. That game like the game 4 was diabolically ref'd but some how GSW found a way to win.

We still remember it till date despite winning that championship.
Trust me..if i check the stats..i will see but i hardly focus on that when i watch games.

I rather focus on our turnovers, poor offense and defense....

Am not understanding oh...So the warriors can never have a bad game?
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 9:52am On Nov 23, 2017
Eruditor:
It is not a new one. In the past, Curry used to get the short end of the stick but players like KD, Draymond got their foul calls as and when due. This season even that has changed.

Secondly, toss ups have gone against GSW. I mean calls like when unsure, blow against GSW. Even commentators have noticed it. The commentators for the Celts game for example.

Thirdly, the type of fouls they call on GSW. Jesus, this is the worst of it. Someone on Reddit made a joke after the Celts game by putting a JPEG of Kyrie's face and said "if you looked at this picture, Kyrie just got fouled". I mean all the Celts' comeback runs in that game were helped by unnecessary free throws and I said so. There were a lot of phantom fouls on Kyrie and Tatum. In fact, GSW led 88-84 with a little over a minute to go and guess how they lost? With 8 FTs. Final FT count was 38 to 19.

I know someone might say "they were not attacking the rim enough in that game". That was the half assed anal-lysis (pun intended) but if you looked closely, Jaylen was fouling players left and right and center and they called it great defense. But any decent defence on the other end, foul! I could go on and on.

I would not worry about refs and my team at the same time. I am not even worried about my team. We lost to Cavs by 1 in Dec. On here, the talk was "Cavs now own the Warriors" "Curry is playing possum". We bashed them by 26 and handed them a gentleman's sweep in the finals. Verdict; Warriors are hurting the league.

I mean, we beat SAS with all their starters, down by 25, at their home ground. Then first game of the playoffs we are down by 23 and Kawhi goes down then we win. And even on here people argued that we would have lost had he stayed on. Like, literally, to them the regular season game did not matter - until someone beats Warriors at their home ground - then it is fire and brimstone.

We are 13-5. We need 10 more losses to not achieve 67wins. When we get those Ls, remind me to worry. Till then, let me complain about the incompetent refereeing that has been going on. Because we are that one team that has suffered it the most this season. If you know another team, present them so we can fact-check.

See how people celebrated Celts losing yesterday. Same people who pretended to feel for them when Hayward got injured. I said it before; people celebrate you when you are working towards something then hate you as soon as you have it. That is the GSW story.
Bro..this season, the highest points we have lost by is 7points and that was just one game (against the pelicans)..we mostly lose games by 2,3 or highest 4 points.

I could have easily said if not for one or two bad ref calls,we would have won these games but i focus on our negatives instead (i.e our inability to close) and forget about any refs decisions cos come playoffs, when you win..nobody remembers or talks about refs decisions that went against you.

But btw, this game was a blowout...
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 9:27am On Nov 23, 2017
Eruditor:
You don't need to like it but the refs were bad yesterday and over the course of the whole season heavily lopsided against the Warriors. I can count the only genuinely ref'd games that resulted in Ls. Rockets and Pistons and funny enough both games were at Oracle.

Sure, in a game bad calls can go either ways and be balanced, but when it is as flagrant as it has been this season, guy forget it. It is as if GSW have to win games inspite of the atrocity.

Even in wins I came here to complain; the Brooklyn Nets game, the game at the Pelicans. So it is not strange that I would still voice out my complaints in a loss. I did so against the Celts, Memphis and now OKC but the latter is the only game I said the opposition FULLY deserved their win.

Even some non-Warriors fans said it yesterday - that the refs did not need to be helping the Thunders who were already playing well and were good for their W. So don't get rubbed the wrong way or better still, don't feel some type of way if rubbed.
So the refs are always against the Warriors?..Hmmm..this is a new one...

Bro..your team,GSW is the best team in the NBA..You should worry more about their performances and care less about the refs..If everyone wants to talk about refs,am sure we all have games where refs decisions go against our teams..

I don't feel robbed except when the calls against us are glaring..when its glaring, its not even me that calls out the refs..other fans do so..

Congrats to OKC, inspite of the bad refereeing they fully deserved their W.

I don't know why regular season games don't matter until the warriors lose.

I could not care less if I tried. I just need 67wins come May and for halfwits to stop telling us we hurt the parity in the NBA.

I remember when we lost to Washington, Bulls and Heats in the space of 4 games (only beating Knicks in a close game) and people said we were not going to finish top seeds. Then we went on that 17 game run without KD and started hurting the league. LOL. Good times.

Let WestBrook enjoy his rare inconsequential W. we got whooped by Denver last season as well. Atleast they won't say he does not have help.

Shouts to Kyrie and the Celts for the run. They have already proven their mettle without Gordon, can only imagine how good they would be next season with him.
