But its the right move for Houston - we would have had to give up Gordon and Capela in addition to getting crappy Anderson off our plate, for Melo who is no longer in his prime. Nah..

I think you guys may be deficient in defence next season..

Houston would NEVER give up Eric Gordon for melo.y do u think no deal was made btwn Houston and NY.Eric Gordon was very crucial to houston's success last season.for now he is basically untradable,Knicks requested for Gordon but Houston declined.

As an OKC fan....inasmuch as i agree that Houston would have been the best team for Melo,giving up Gordon for Melo sounds almost impossible..Melo is the cause of his own downfall in form and fans dislike for him but i dont want to give up on him...
Prolly Russ and P.G could be a source of motivation to get back to his best...

My own opinion tho and i could be wrong..

don't know how it all works,money wise and Melo has to play passable defence and OKC don't lose many valuable players in the trade.

You have a point!!!!Seems many clubs dont want to end up losing valuable players too in the course of the trade.

I think you got it wrong on both fronts. Bradley is ranked top 3-5 defender in the NBA, and he was our best ball defender, especially in 1/1 situations. Opponents dreaded him because he played clean defense without fouling, he moves his feet so fast and is intelligent with his hands.

Also, his offense improved over the past two seasons and when you look at the numbers he was our second scorer when healthy and I think that is why Crowder gets sticks from a section of the crowd. Crowder plays with a lot of emotion and energy, however, he does not score enough to lock down the small forward position.

Hayward is an absolute upgrade to our offense which sticks sometimes, especially when we have to rely on high volume three points attempt. Another positive for the Hayward trade is how it positively impacts BIG AL. During the postseason, BIG AL proved his worth to his critics. He needs a jump shooter that would utilize the space he provides on the court.

I would definitely miss Bradley, however, he deserves his pay day and sadly, we can't pay him and IT next year.

no oh..when i say bad, i mean he is a very excellent shooter..bad in a good way..thats what i mean....you misunderstood me....

but my bad...i guess i was wrong about crowder being a better defensive player than bradley...but seriously tbh, i dont trust that big AL..i feel he is not consistent and to think hes got a big contract with you guys....
