Igbos you can't keep hating others and think all will be fine. Now you need Julius Berger Nigeria ask yourselves who the owners are and you will see that you cannot do everything yourself. This is why we do not throw stone at a market place because it may hit our relatives.

Jb will build it so long as 60-70% goes to the, owners. Also it Must be toll at a rate of 2000 naira per pass for the next 50 years.

I love my se governors. They are the best. smiley

Mr CRAMJONES, I ASK AGAIN
alj harem: APC the party of progressives, how do you intend to reconcile have the most corrupt individual in the SW as your party leader ?

You as a politician know the history of Tinubu, how he got to power, how he has properties all over the place. How do you justify these things.

"Somebody who used to attack our own Eze-Igbo Gburugburu without regard to his seminal wisdom and old age can do anything including selling his people in return for bowel of Amala and red oil soup.."

Massob of the igbos referring to yorubas during the deportation saga early this year in Lagos.

bokohalal: I understand what Macof is trying to say. The problem, however,is that the 'osmosification' process is too far gone to be reversed. Today, the Akokos,Ekitis Ondos and other peoples of eastern Western Nigeria are considered Yorubas. They admit in private, especially when dealing with an Edo, that they are more closely related. A gentleman I met sometime ago claimed Ondo and added 'I am originally Edo. My grandfather was Edo'.
I am glad someone atleast understand his point. Also we need to be clear. What is edo ? Was there edo empire that covered some of the groups in current edo state ?

seunfly: He should reach out to other tribes, groups and his former ally. It has shown that his tribal and religion tactics is not working, also he does not have good strategist arround him. It is not too late for him to correct things and put himself back in the driving seat, but he needs to get rid of praise singers, emotional and sentimental people close to him and shop for real strategist and people who will tell him the truth.
too late
PoliticsRe: Gani Adams, Itsekiri Leaders Inaugurate OPC In Warri, Delta by aljharem(m): 10:15am On Dec 22, 2013
DELTA BOY: OPC is live in Warri. Warri is our home land. Those talking nonsense here are strangers in Warri. For those who don't know, the real warri is own by Itsekiri and by extension an Oduduwa land. Me and my fellow OPC members are currently drinking bear at Utieyin bar opposite world of life bible church ajamimogha warri with full OPC regalia. Those who say we do not own Warri can come there to confront us and see if they will return back home with their head . Ajamimogha means I am in my home town in the center of
Warri.
Are you minding these Igbo people. Just don't talk too much and be watching.

Btw welcome to odua ; a land of peace and equality. A testimony of civilisation and advance people

PoliticsThe Evolution Of Democracy In Nigeria by aljharem(op): 10:59pm On Dec 21, 2013
For the past few months now we have seen how our 'CURRENT' administration is been riddled with questions and accusations. Now from this we have also noticed how party members of the PDP are decamping to APC. It is now clear we have a two party state. Is our democracy evolving ? Is it now about ideologies and character of parties ?

I think this is the right step Nigeria as a country needs to go through. Pls share your views on this.

CultureRe: Why Do Edo People Speak Yoruba? by aljharem(m): 9:58am On Dec 20, 2013
PhysicsQED: I didn't say it was necessarily made up, but I just don't take everything you say on here (NL) at face value anymore, since you did spend a lot of time on here pretending to be from different ethnic groups (Kanuri, Kanuri +Igbo, etc.).
And so I MEAN how does that change the facts i have stated
CultureRe: Why Do Edo People Speak Yoruba? by aljharem(m): 9:58am On Dec 20, 2013
PhysicsQED: Stop distorting the meaning of my posts. I don't see how or why Obanikoro or Eletu chiefs would be claiming to be Edo because of a presumed Edo origin centuries ago and I don't see what relevance that has to anything I've been saying to macof or other posters in this thread.

I don't recall commenting in any way on "the relationship Yoruba groups had before the formation of Nigeria," where Benin "went through" or the issue of a "hand of friendship" from other groups in this thread. I also don't recall "ringing" anything into anyone's ears. In fact, I had been ignoring this thread for a while to see if it the discussion would resolve itself without the possibility of me having to comment, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. When I did comment, it wasn't to attack anybody or drill anything into anyone's ears, but to express disagreement. And for you to even characterize my discussion with macof where I simply disagreed with him over his numerous attempts to deny that Edo was an ethnic group (that is not a "hand of friendship" whether you want to admit it or not) as "ringing" something into your ears or "antagonizing" anybody is annoying. If you can't assess my posts dispassionately within the context of the thread without reading non-existent offense into inoffensive statements, then don't bother commenting towards me in this thread.
Why are you animated ? what is annoying you ? the question is how is edo ethnic group different from ekiti or akoko ?

what qualifies them as an ethnic group ?
CultureRe: Why Do Edo People Speak Yoruba? by aljharem(m): 9:56am On Dec 20, 2013
coolest01: calm down. Im from akoko edo...ojah is the name of my village, close to ososo.people that know that area of edo state will know that akoko edo people although edo state by origin have close ties with the akoko people from ondo state(yoruba). We the akoko edo people especially from ojah have a different language entirely differnt from the benin or the yoruba. We even borrowed more words from the yorubas than from other edo tribes. Hence,we are very capable of speaking yoruba fluently
Oga thank you oh. that is the point macof and i have been trying to pass across to him. As macof said, who are the yorubas

it is noy about common languge but about common history

heck my native language is different from oyo or ekiti. i am awori- egun

egu is different from egba

akoko is different from owo

infact the closes language ties are itsekiri and ijebu
CultureRe: Why Do Edo People Speak Yoruba? by aljharem(m): 9:37am On Dec 20, 2013
PhysicsQED: Either you met someone from Ayanran or Kakumo or Igarra that had moved to Ondo and settled in, or the man didn't know his native language, or (and this is possible, given your antecedents) this is a completely made up story. This "Akoko people" stuff as it relates to the Akoko Edo is something I already commented on and I don't intend to repeat myself again on the very same thread.
Made up story ? What are you talking about ? I am telling you what happened yet you are denying my experience. I don't understand you oh
