if rochas, el-rufia, sanusi, oshomole or fashola contest; he should forget it. Even GEJ has more chances than Atiku |
Yawns ![]() |
About time, the amount of armed robbers in Ogun has risen mainly due to migration and the porous security network in Nigeria. |
Wily2wily: Other Yoruba Clan don't like to help Ilaje, they only want them because of oil.Same as awori, they want aworis because of lagos right ? |
Ilaje44: Alaigbede! E buru ni Ilaje = Ko buru ni Yoruba.Sorry I don't understand Ilaje that was why thanks for the correction egbon. ![]() |
Pukkah: If the paper he delivered had led to a groundswell of accolades, like the one he delivered at Benin on the salaries of public officials, would he have passed the responsibility to his researchers?I suppose as well, I think he should just apologise and move on if he used his work rather than sue and "counter-sue" |
Ilaje44: Alhaji alaya yi yeye, kon ti gha o? E buru sha. ![]() E mi mo na pe mo buru But egbon mi no be my fault. These people fit make person mad at times. The poster Oturugo is the same as Ngohagaha1, also Andre Uweh aka Abadaba. BTW Egbon, Awon Ilaje na wa le eko ? Abi ? |
Ilaje44: This what I mentioned in the first post. Mahen or Mahin in the standard Yoruba is a town and a Kingdom in ILAJE land. Mahin people are Ilaje just like UGBO, AHERI etc.same na ni egbon mi, Mahin, Ugbo, Aheri Just trying to get all the towns out |
oturugo: No be so naa, wetin?.wetin what ? |
oturugo: Call me any Igbo name here, no problem, I will not insult you. But call me any non Igbo name like bluetooth etc, then you will see me draw my sword. Udele.Udele or not, both bluetooth, beaf, arole odua, nchara, odua solja and you are all birds of a feather. I categorise you all as the same. Go figure |
Ilaje44: ALL Ilaje people born and bread in ILAJE Land (or water, since we are a riverine people) speak Ilaje! A language in the Yoruba dialectical continuum. There is not some, a bit, a few. We wholly speak Ilaje.Thank you jare Egbon mi. E gbadun oma-ilaje ka le o !!! Amin Please tell help me tell the slowpoke |
oturugo: I don't know why you have this imbecilic manner of always insulting posters who do not insult you. If you have to insult someone here, it should be the posterand the earliest posters not me. Must you continue to be the forum's clown?. |
Chai !!!! Ilaje yoruba fishing people of the Niger-delta Andre no die o http://books.google.co.uk/books/about/Ilaje.html?id=YocuAQAAIAAJ&redir_esc=y |
BTW andre Uweh, how is your family na ? Hope they are ok ? ![]() |
oturugo: Add this to the list. Lome, Accra, bamako, Dakar, Uromi, Afuze, Bini, Igbanke, Agbor, Okpe, Abraka etc.Apparently you are getting daf,ter by the day. It hurts you that your propaganda with ur ideeeiotic partner beaf has gone to the drain. it defects the purpose of calling yorubas parasites right ? LOL this is getting better by the day ![]() |
oturugo: In Andonni, large percentage of them speak Igbo despite not being Igbo. In Bonny and Opobo, Igbo is also widely spoken yet it is not an Igbo territory. That is how Nigeria is. In Bauchi, Gombe, Adamawa etc, some non Hausa communities out there speak Hausa yet not Hausa. Same applies to Ilaje where Yoruba is also spoken. I hope this will now settle in your over-sized cranium.DUDE, IT IS NOT ONLY ABOUT THE LANGUAGE history comes to play as well. Have you heard of the yagba history ? Yes or no ? Bini people as well nko Have you heard asokoro people history ? I can keep going on and on. |

oturugo: I am not done with you yet Tell us the Kalabari speaking Igbos ? Words etc that is Igbo |
Ilaje44: Ishekiri are Ishekirishikena. |
Akainzo: Beaf, please help me with the meaning of what you said above, which one of the instances below is correct?very good question |
bittyend: Hmmmmm... It's probably the Ibo blood in Asari Dokubo, that's making him act the way he acts, huh?Asari is 40% igbo and 60% ijaw according to him (go check his bio). Thus it explains his behaviour. Really I could careless about asari because he was almost killed by awori youths back in the days. Asari really does not fight for Ijaws but himself. Of course he has many followers who would use propaganda to deceive gullible minds. |
Ilaje44: I see, so you are trying to insult my intelligence and integrity as an Ilaje man isnt it? Anyway, if you knew what you were talking about, you would not have written such a cataclismic blunder. Where have you seen Ilaje people speak Ijon? If whenever an Ilaje speaks Ijon, he speaks it as a second language. We have our own Dialect and there is a meaning to our name too. Dont blab about what you dont know. You are sure to find more Ijon speaking Ilaje than the other way round by the way.Thank you jare, |
oturugo: Andoni people are not Igbos but Kalabaris. However, Igbo is widely spoken in Andoni but that does not make them Igbos. Same applies to Ilaje and some groups in the north who are not Hausawa but speak hausa.Abegi, go siddon only minorities in bauchi are non-hausawa and that is the northeast and south of the state. Being hausawa does not mean you are a muslim. you can be hausa and be Christian as well. |
bittyend: I'm Ijebu tokan tokan... My dad is from Iperu remo, and my mum is from Odogbolu. Then if you are yoruba, you learn to respect others as others have respected you. We do not insult others just for the sake of it. You should be able to know an Igboman from an Ijawman. An igboman spit fire at anything yoruba, whether split, oil, etc he just want the downfall of the yoruba An ijawman on the other hand is more reasonable and tries to make bonds rather than break it. Go check Ijaw history, I have a lot as my friend from Opobo to balysea. I know them and their mentality. They are live and let live people. It is the Nigerian government that made them the way they are today. They are no trouble makers unless of course during land expansionism |
oturugo: A variant of Ijaw and a variant of old Bini.Which word ? are are you just saying that out of stu.pidity ? |
bittyend: Respect to the lousy Ijaws?? Hahahahahahahahahaha... Ijaws don't respect nobody apart from their fishes...Are you sure you are even yoruba yourself or another lousy Igboman using Yoruba ID ? if not respect yourself o ![]() |
jason123: LOL, Andre Uweh! Don't mind him. We have loads of characters on NL, I tell ya!I knew, I was just joking with him till he falls for my trap. The dude is one funny man ![]() |
oturugo: Please show some respect to the Ijaws as they have always respected the Yorubas.STFU, Igboman Speak kalabari here let us hear |
bittyend: STFU!! Do ijaws even have a language, or a culture? All I see are Ijaw men in hats and walking stick. No sir Ijaws do have a language and a culture which I as a yorubaman am proud of. Infact we aworis share some similarity with Ijaws in terms of dressing etc even language |
oturugo: You are the crazy one as the poster actually described you early in his post. Andoni is a Kalabari town in Rivers state but majority speak Igbo, but this does not make them Igbos. I know you have not been to bauchi state but those who have or served there will tell you that there are some commun ities there that are not hausawa but do speak hausa. The two examples here typifies Ilaje.Shut up, Kalabari in andoni don't speak Igbo, where did you get that from The groups that speak Igbo in rivers can be Opobo and even at that, some are going back to their Ijaw language again. Don't start this dumb lies here. I am not as ignorant as some others here, I know Igbo history through and through and the more you talk about others the more I know Igbo mentality. Kalabari DON'T SPEAK ANY FORM OR IGBO What does dubu mean in Igbo because it is something in Kalabari and infact dubu means the same in yoruba ebaa or baa mean in Igbo ? you care to answer Baa means tomorrow in both kalabari and yoruba A yoruba man would say O di baa, which means "see you next time/tomorrow" What does Iro mean in Igbo ? In kalabari it means false/lies same as yoruba I can keep going on and on. stop lying to yourself here. Mumu |
