alexis007: Are six packs and six cars enough guarantee that she won't cheat and dump for a more endowed guy
You can offer them the universe...and they would still ask for more. Only a fool is going to overwork himself just to impress these gluttons.
...And I'm no such fool. If I ever strive to achieve the aforementioned, let it be for self-fulfilment. your blessed bro...every man can't use 6 cars ...all that matters is happiness and not impressing anyone who might disappoint later on. |

GRACEGLORY: Security job in itself isn't a bad job, but every job in Nigeria is bad just like the police work. There's a difference between a certificate and education, you have been certified by an institution, now educate yourself about the job: when pple sees your education, they will tke you to where ur certification is needed. thank you so much |

JustCalMeDBoss: Oo boy I know how that feels, I am still a security guard it been hard finding another job u get used to it because u see ur mates who are graduates I guess that's what Nigeria has turned us to. My advice don't hide urself but instead start looking for things u can do don't self pity urself and don't put hope in thinking if u tell ppl u are a graduate they will help you. Start thinking of what business u can start with say 200,000 it's not easy anywhere. yeah bro...how do you cope on the job....and do you always hear of current job openings at the place you guard? |

ideology: get to work with your shoulders high, dress neatly not just like the ordinary security man, be nice and polite to everyone, you could meet a big shot at the gate as guest. Never let the nature of the job after your self esteem, show them that you are worth more than a gate man.if you have opportunities to attend general meetings, express yourself, suggest innovative ideas, after 3 months if none of the staffs picks interest in you, you may need to begin viral networking, firstly among the employees that you are close to, then Admin, hr, helpdesk, PA, get to know internal vacancies and apply. If they don't give you oppportunity, keep copies of your cv's in office and target guest that visit the firm
Hope this will help, above all trust only inGod and yourself.
Grace is multiplied unto you thank you so much and I really appreciate.... I will gladly take it up and go by your advice and hope all works well within the next three month.....your words have given me more courage |

hello everyone, pls I need some genuine advice here...I got a job for the position of security personnel through a security company but I was told I may be posted to a bank, supermarket, hospital or even church..I actually considered this job because of the frustration I go through daily while staying home and doing nothing since finishing NYSC 2015. I need advice from people who had once been in my shoes how it is and if its really worth it...I mean how one can climb the ladder from being a security officer to been gainfully employed in the office by the client organisation and build a better career. thanks and hope to see your advice |

Hello Nairalanders, Got this argument going on about Nigeria police and Nigeria army, about who has more power over the other under the jurisdiction of law.
In my opinion, the Nigeria police is more powerful, they enforce law and have the right to arrest any law breaker. A Nigeria army has no such power except in the case of martial law. What do you think? |

garfield16: There is no big picture, you and him are products of a failed education system which is why you dont see a problem with his English
again a student of mass com writes an srticles, not engineerring, not economics, Mass Comm and here are the grammertical flaws in his article
"published on several news outfits" should be published in
ranked Denmark the “ Happiest Nation, Burundi, the least happy” and Nigeria 103rd least happiest in the .....poor use of semi-colon
The survey ranked countries based on their abilities to provide basic necessities of life for their citizens thereby making them happy .The report published on several news outfits ranked Denmark the “ Happiest Nation, Burundi, the least happy” and Nigeria 103rd least happiest in the World. But to start with the first one, as usually the case with many students who graduated and are awaiting mobilization for National Youth Service, I started browsing the street of some major towns and cities in search of a temporary job to earn a living and avoid being dependent. Nigerian youthsNigerian youth I visited several secondary schools in Kano to see if I could be appointed a classroom teacher, of all the schools I visited, the school principal pulls out dossiers of applicants waiting to be called for an interview.
This is the 1st paragraph of a published article by someone supposed to be the second best graduating mass comm student? I stopped highlighting the errors because there are so many The whole article is a grammatical mess, God help us!!!!
syntax errors, grammatical errors. Now someone at Vanguard published this article because as the second best graduating student one would assume you don't need supervision but alas! Guy you are not 100 yourself....where is your supposed proofreading skill. At least we all understand absolutely the message this great writer (OP) is passing across to us and the government indirectly |
