The students and management of the Nigerian Law school, Abuja, were yesterday thrown into mourning, following the death of one of the students.

It was gathered that Alex, a Kogi State University graduate, died after he suddenly slumped. .

He was said to be preparing for their exams starting in few days and showed no sign of ill health before the incident occurred.

A 52-year-old pastor of The Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG, Gabriel Diya, his 16-year-old son, Praise Emmanuel Diya and 9-year-old daughter, Comfort Diya, drowned inside the swimming pool in the Costa del Sol resort in Southern Spain on Tuesday December 24th.

Gabriel Diya who was until his death the Minister in charge of the Open Heavens of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Charlton, South-East London, was on a family vacation with his wife and their children. Unfortunately, his daughter Comfort got into difficulty while playing in one of the 21 swimming pools in the resort.

Nollywood actress Princess Shingle is single again after her Senegalese fiancé was recently arrested over alleged fraud in New York. Frederic Badji was allegedly picked up in September, 2019, around the same time the actress announced she’s quitting social media.

Also, it was revealed that Frederic had been cheating on her and she only discovered recently. Shingle has since moved out of his house in New Jersey and has ended the engagement.

The Cyber Crime Section of the EFCC, Abuja Zonal office, have arrested four suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja.

The suspects, Chijioke Okwuosah, Emeka Basil, Ayian Chimere and elochukwu Godwill Oguonu were arrested during a sting operation in the early hours of Friday, October 18, 2019 at House 34 and 35, 31Road Efab Estate Lokogoma, Abuja, following intelligence reports received by the Commission about their alleged involvement in the criminal activity.

Items recovered from the suspects at the point of arrest include mobile phones, laptops and 2 cars.

The suspects will soon be charged to court.
