monimekaz:I totally understand your background and type of person. While we are all mortars and as such what hunts one can hunt the other, I can boldly say that depression is very far from your kind of person. You live within reality boundaries and create your world. And like your late Dad who did a good job bringing you up said "Leave it for God if you can't earn it by hard work" Ohh, reading your comments, am excited that in this yahoo-yahoo and g-plus generation that we still have a Nigerian with the virtue of hardworking and earning his living. No one should go through this life depending upon others who depend on circumstance. Few days ago, a young lad say 18-20years accosted me requesting N50 for transport. Initially I said NO because I felt I knew what he actually wanted it for, saving money for the next weed or tramadol. But on a second thought, I told him to come board a bus while I pay for him and immediately the story changed that he was still waiting for someone. I laughed, shock my head but was really sad for our society. I have seen and encountered beggars in different countries. In the restaurant, asking for my change to buy a meal and others playing music in the subway to get me to leave some change in their plates. But only in Nigeria that I see this "transport" format beggars. They don't even see themselves as beggars, I believe they call themselves hustlers. |

xavuv:You are so brave to have continued leaving in that house thinking there is a snake (an adult one self) in the roof and you have not done anything for 2years. God is faithful indeed. But you can handle this yourself with knowledge. First throw some bitter Kola inside your house and outside to scare snakes away. Petrol and carbide already suggested will do same. But they are not quite safe handling. I usually keep a small ragolis bottle of petrol to act as a spray on snakes once sighted. If the petrol touches them, it weakens them and you can easily approach and kill them. You can apply some petrol on your clothes and get into that roof with some bitter Kola and petrol spray. Wear glasses to cover your eyes. A long stick or rake might be needed but petrol on the snake is more than enough not kerosene that is too slow. God has been with you. Peace |
sircrabo:I know this to be very true because it worked for me. Prior to placing bitter Kola around my compound, I used to sight snakes almost every week. Though I didn't see any dead ones I was told it would make them leave the area and they did. |
iamharkinwaley:This is correct. Obviously not the same snake that shed its skin. Maybe another snake has entered. |
Syzee:No. They are not the same just as the name indicates. Good luck with your interview. |

FarmsEquipment:Am interested in the Engine driven maize sheller. I only need the sheller without the engine. How much is that? Also kindly shed more light as to the capacity of the sheller. How many 50kg bags can it fill in 1 hour? What maintenance is required, are the wearable parts available? All the best. |
teaandteea:Is this service available for use in Anambra? |
femnet29:Please add me for Orange My whatsapp number is below in my signature. Thanks |
ikhileomotayo:It is already 5 months since you opened this thread. Have you made some progress, please update? If you ask me, you don't need Farming skills to be an Investor in the Agric value chain just like you don't need to be an Engineering graduate to own and run a road construction company. That is why you employ managers and experts. Like you rightly said, what you need is "Business skills". Whoever presents you with a Business Idea should be ready to present an accompanying Business Plan that will give you insight to the Market Analysis and the Financial Plan. Two key items you need to study to make an investment decision. If the numbers are good you can pay 10 Agric Experts to run the farm. All the best. |

opeyemiabdullah:Whatever fencing material you choose, will cost you a lot of money considering the perimeter to be covered. However, using block or chainlink will be a sunk cost compared to deploying a living fence which would cost less and yet pay-off its cost in less than 4 years. If considering a living fence, use the following: Oil Palm trees, Orange tress, Jatropha, Moringa and Pepper plant. Wish you success. |
kelvinlove1990:Ok reach me on whatsapp |
sleekman:Kindly give more details like cost and type. Is it Boer goat semen? What type of our local females can it fertilizer safely considering size of kid expected? Cheers |
ifexsmarttech:No. Those involved no how they do it. My dogs have been transported via luxury buses from Jos to Port-Harcourt |
BookEditor:You are totally mistaken. There are many reasons authors choose to adopt a pen name other than trying to conceal their ethnicity or cultural background. More apt is the desire for writers to overcome certain glass ceilings that could hinder the acceptance of their work. To answer your question, yes I have seen British and American Authors adopt Pen names; notable amongs which are Joanne Rowling (Harry Potter) using the pen names Robert Galbraith and JK Rowling . Also Benjamin Franklin used the pen name Mrs Silence Dogood and Samuel Clemens used the pen name Mark Twain. I believe these are enough proof for you. Understanding a writers motive, audience and personal challenges determines if the use of pen name or real name is the best route and not "get rich quick" as you put it. |
