BluntCrazeMan:Five (5) pages and no straight answer to your question. You know why? You can't learn Engineering on the pages of a social forum. For starters, there is no relationship between absence of "chaining beam" and filling of pore spaces in hollow blocks. To your question. Straight answer is there is nothing wrong in filling the voids in hollow block wall with any sort of materials your imagination an suggest. If there was, construction methodology textbooks would have prescribed that brick layers ensured that nothing drops within the hollows while laying. Go back and pick up your books on "Strength of Materials" for clearer understanding on why Engineers use one type of material instead of the other. Like why wood instead of Steel? Now there is a difference between Partition block wall and a load bearing block wall. Truth is that 99.9% of the design and building construction you see today in accordance to BS8110 doesn't utilize load bearing walls. So the block wall in the foundation you referred to are just Partition walls. Whether you use hollow blocks or Solid blocks it makes no structural difference. So its not considered in the design. Use of hollow blocks was just to save costs. But it's so easy to bore a hole through for thieves to penetrate. That answers your question as to the origin of filling with broken blocks and pouring in weak concrete. Shalom |
MirthOsas:Sure. You keep testing your codes till you get the one that has a perfect fit for more browsers and devices (PC, tablet, Mobile). Same reason Developers end up learning a Stack of languages as one language might have the perfect fit to a cross-platform responsiveness and another language overs him all round coding flexibility. |
Bahat:I endorse the above combo. But I would jump to add: MySQL Workbench Tableau Jupyter notebook MS Office CorelDraw Google Sheets offline Git |
MirthOsas:That is the essence of website responsiveness. Your code has to display properly on most browsers not one. Well done sir |
learnerz:Congrats. I dey follow you ![]() |
tensazangetsu20:Of their free will. Lured by money. Encouraged by their Mothers who suffered same fate and their Fathers desperately in need of a lifeline. But let the future speak for itself. I am not a self acclaimed prophet. After all, Man proposes and God disposes. Igbo, God's chosen people, have a history of turning the tides in their favor. Let's watch, God's will. |
Leece:These are entry level jobs requiring aptitude test. One job opening receiving over 5,000 applications. The recruiter can't even read beyond 50 CVs. So even 1st class holders won't make the shortlist. A for aptitude test. It not even related to the specific job applied for most times but just a ploy to weed off excess applicants and this ends up being counter productive for the Employer. What's your area of interest? If IT, good. Register on upwork and fiverr and offer your service. You earn some money but the main aim is to acquire on the job experience. This will move you away from seeking EntryLevel jobs. Then you can go back and polish up your CV to re-enter the job market. You can apply for remote jobs so you are not limited to Nigeria. Look out for Bootcamps, they will help you more than Certifications. Cc @Adaorababy |
Maxime10:Don't fret. No magic or voodoo LOL Look up directly above the spot the answer is in your ceiling. Shalom |
ForestHill:You are perfectly right. The crypto trading was just a cover up for the kind of Cash and lifestyle at his disposal. Check his trading record he might be losing more than he gains. And if he has a net gain it might not exceed $100k yearly which is not enough for the kind of lifestyle flaunted on installation. |
"overtake humans in every aspect" Hell No. Never. AI will never have a soul. Just like humans whom have abandoned their creator and think we could be greater than God, Robots might at some point in their evolution also think they can overtake man but it won't happen. Man is limited, so what man creates will be even more limited. AI is at the level where it's being designed to learn and as such make its own decisions/actions that were not pre-programmed. Now, that decision could be very very wrong because it depends on data gather. So "garbage in garbage out" would still be a problem for AI despite the advancement in machine learning. So basically Man's intervention will always be required. Can AI pro-create (AI make AI)? Like based on ML it decides its going to create a Robot with ability to also learn and do whatever it decides? Biological Cloning of humans is what has the potential for "overtaking man in EVERY ASPECT " but it has come under some heavy regulation plus results have been far from perfect. If it had been at least we would have seen a growth in its adoption for Animal production. Same heavy regulation would soon apply in AI. |
WeNoGoDie:Way to go. Good advice |

Those who commit heinous crimes and those who sit back minding their business while such evil is perpetuated on the land will both pay with their bloods. It starts with you running from imam to pastor and to native Doctor seeking solution to unending problems and affliction. Refrain from Evil, they will not hear. The blood of the innocent will demand justice. Even common armed robbers will not use their last base knowing that one of them didn't make it back from their last operation, then it is ESN you want us to believe will do such. The same allegations were being reported about SARs and we thought it was a joke. The commission of enquiry is still on and more atrocities are piling yet again. Which direction Nigeria <<<===

zombieHUNTER:Well said, BUT You are missing the kind of stuff FFK smokes |
A305:Whatever you think is your point will varnish when I pray you find yourself in exactly the same situation , let's know if your physics theory will keep you alive to tell the story. People have died from their vehicle Summersaulting on the road without descending a cliff. There could have been a fire which will wipe away your 95% theory. If you want to argue existence of God, just say Amen to the prayer I have made for you. |
Citygal:There is an opportunity (business idea) But the question is the viability. Do you have data to test the viability of this opportunity. How many persons are interested. And how many of these persons will still be interested when asked to pay. These are 1st stage consideration before considering your costs (location transportation etc). Then you can plunge if the numbers are good/fair |
eduj:James works for them obviously including the guy you quoted. He is their friend ![]() MNK is their enemy ![]() |
Guess the evil politicians he served under are the ones protecting him. If there is an adjective to use instead of evil, it would have been so apt. James Nwafor is more than evil.
Yen yen yen yen you keep yapping. This is the same man that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu helped to expose. In all the long post you shamelessly avoided telling us why your beloved president GMB has not deployed our enormous resources to kidnap this James instead of MNK. |
ascendo:You will be shocked when you see the person you are arguing with in reality. You will feel offended with yourself not him. I dropped my earlier comment because your maturity was commendable as you refrained from joining in or being dragged into dishing insults. I bet you, most of what you wrote was not read neither are they interested in researching some of your points before arguing with emotions. But allow me exit by saying that if we are matured then we must continue to pray and have hope in the societal subset that GMB calls "lazy youth". My people say "when you wake up is your morning". You see those lazy youths, they will wake up soon and understand that arguments are meant to educate and not "won". Shalom |
ascendo:My brother I read it over 4 decades ago that if you go arguing with a mad person you will end up having two mad people in a conversation. Nobody including themselves will make any sense out of their conversation. 1/3 of what ? ? What is the total Consumption of lubricants in Nigeria. Does Mobil oil have data of Oil sales by Forte , Texaco, Tonimas, Seaman talkless of Jezco having this fact in order to reach such a statistical conclusion via a 3rd party blogger trying to earn some coins. As a people we lack professionalism. I am not talking Ibo or Yoruba. Black race more like. I see the ethnic patriotism you were trying to show the OP but he can't understand it. "The journey is still far". Ibo's a fantastic business people found everywhere in the world. But that doesn't mean they win in every Statistics. But seriously I don't understand why the OP is trying to corner you or reduce this thread to another ethnic jingoistic venture between Ibo and Yoruba. I know the Jezco plant in Awka and I so much appreciate him for siting that plant in Awka as an Anambra man. Tonimas is from here but sited in Aba. We won't trash him for that, its business not charity. Seaman is sited in Oba and the list goes on I can't remember where Arthur Eze lubricant is located but is as old as Tonimas. The corrections /criticism you gave were valid and should have been welcomed by OP in good faith to improve his reportage |
viralmaged:What is the essence of your post. Just so you can pick some coins of your survey gig, you want to deceive OP that this is a possible solution to his problem. And you condescending tell him "if truly you are a Developer". The young man has just earned his place in a Training that wasn't free to enter and that isn't enough proof of his being a Developer until he clicks on your silly link so you can stand a chance to win $1000. Go and borrow sense because it's only in your dream you will win that $1000 the scam of a survey site is advertising. |
Amyeboche:Great story. Happy it ended in praise. And thanks for thinking of sharing it here as it could reignite hope in the minds of Nigerians that something positive can still be made within this geographic space. |
Plaouse:This is commendable. Success is knocking on your door. Congrats in advance. However to make your request transparent and easier for those disposed to help, I suggest you add the Spec and Price of your desired Laptop and your location (city/state). This will increase the options for those who wish to assist you. |
thatthickgurl:This is the moment you would find out if you are a fast learner like you think. Here's a very simple solution to your problem: There are many graphics design shops around town, especially the area where printing happens. Go there with a Calendar and locate someone to train you. When you get there show the Guy the calendar a tell him /her you want to design that and ask how much (should be around N2k). Then tell him you are ready pay N10k if he can teach you how to design the Calendar yourself and tell him the story you just laid out here. Hopefully he accepts the challenge and in a day or two you should be perfect designing that Calendar. Take a note because you have lots of steps to write and names of icons on the GUI of coreldraw to note. Also Calendars are about the biggest gigs in a Graphic design shop. Posters, Label are nothing if you can handle a calendar. You should find someone who is available to take up your challenge. Also Framing your training around the Calendar job will help you kick out "fake it till you make it" Coreldraw Tutor that would scam you in the name of teaching you Coreldraw. Best of luck in your journey into the Design world. |
Jerryherd:You talk like you know but truth is you are so ignorant and most of what you say shows you don't understand international or common law. Also try to get your facts right especially when dropping it on a public forum with a wide audience. ISIL is declared as a Terror organization by UK but IPOB isn't (FACT) so UK would frown at her citizens joining ISIL but not IPOB. ISIL committed acts of terror against British citizens and interest which IPOB didn't. So any British citizen showing allegiance to ISIL might be treated as an enemy of the British state. However there is no British citizen sentenced just for being an ISIL member rather they were duly tried for criminal acts against the state such as their direct participation in the killing of British citizens. Do not allow hate fill your mind, it would only consume you. You can only help Nigeria by upholding truth and good conscience. Truth will always prevail. |
festacman:Exactly my thoughts. UK foot and hand prints are all over the Kenya /Nigeria abduction. The Establishment can always get away with any atrocities, But..... . We know what happened to Princess Diana. Even when they thought they did a clean job, till this day that house/empire is still haunted. A Prince suddenly renounces his royalty and the drama has only just begun. Let's watch and see how this new soup opera pans out. Which ever way it goes the name "Nnamdi Kanu" will be remembered for generations |
Godada:There are many jobs in the UK that won't require a reference from previous employer. So can she find a new job? Sure, definitely. But there is no intending employer who would approve of her action talkless of offering her appointment. Nothing can justify dishonesty, not in the UK. She might be too young to know, reason she is excited posting the details of her sack online. This act would even cause her to lose a political appointment in future if her opponent brings it up. |
Just wondering if Bobrisky remember to ask his/her doctor what the body will be like when aging. Ladies, next time you use a toilet in a restaurant or airport be careful the person next to you could be Risky-Bob |
goldmines214:But that is what you need. What Webmind suggested. Why isn't it working for you. What error message or result are you getting? You just need some correction on that part and nothing else. Cheers |
